Hello, After updating Photoshop, I’ve encountered the following bug in Camera Raw. When I open several *.cr2 files in ACR and use Merge to Panorama, I then try to apply Denoise. However, instead of denoising, the entire panorama turns green. The only way I can successfully apply denoising is by first saving the panorama as a DNG file and then reopening it. In this case, Denoise works as expected. Additionally, Denoise does not work properly if applied to the individual *.cr2 files before merging. Although the panorama merges correctly, the original noise reappears in the final output. I'm currently using Photoshop version 26.8.0 and Camera Raw version 17.4.0.2272. Thank you for your attention to this issue.
My GPU drivers are up to date. I have Windows 10, Intel i7 and 32GB ram. Denoise of raw files takes several minutes, so is unusable.

After downloading the 2025 Camera Raw version the brush sliders do not default back to zero when choosing a each new brush. The previous settings remain on the new brush and i have to manually zero each slider.Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks in advance.
I've discovered another Adobe garbage dump. On Win11, in my ...User/AppData/Local/Adobe/CameraRaw folder there is now a subfolder called BigTableGroupCache. Mine had 1 gigabyte in over 700 files named "Table..." followed by a long string of meaningless letters. The oldest files had creation dates in October 2024, which is when Camera Raw version 17 was released. Google says "Bigtable is a distributed, scalable NoSQL database service offered by Google Cloud", but says nothing about Adobe's use of BigTable. So I closed all things Adobe and deleted everything in BigTableGroupCache. Then I launched Bridge and Photoshop and browsed and processed a few raw files in ACR with no problem. The BigTableGroupCache was repopulated with files for the raw images I processed. Next, with Bridge and Photoshop still loaded, I deleted everything in BigTableGroupCache again. Then opened and reprocessed the same raw files, again with no problem. BigTableGroupCache was again repopulated.
Camera raw filter not work after the last update on my macbook air
Hi! Recently updated my Photoshop and Camera Raw. When I went to open it, it says "Camera Raw requires graphics processor acceleration to edit photos". I've been trying to go in to settings and check, but everything looks like it should (to my knowledge). What can I do to make it work, anyone with the same problem? I have a Macbook Pro with an M1 graphics card.

After trying to solve this problem for over 2 months including buying a new laptop and asking in these discussion forums (dialogue with @Aleke) and trying everything in official adobe support documents, this:Earlier today I worked with Adobe support about a problem I was experiencing where Adobe Camera Raw was halting with the error, "The graphics processor has encountered an out-of-memory error." The support person almost immediately implemented a workaround that seems to have resolved the issue, which seemed like a miracle after exhausting all suggestions on your website support documents and in the adobe community forums. Astonishingly, this workaround was to disable my NVidia 4070 graphics card altogether in Device Manager, leaving only my integrated Intel UHD GPU enabled. While I am very grateful to have a workaround that allows me to get back to work right away (she was wonderful), this hardly seems like an acceptable long term solution. This is a brand new lapto

Update: this bug has been fixed! I'm not sure if this should be considered a bug in ACR or a bug in Google Photos, but it looks like google photos expects gain map exif data to be defined like this: https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/media/platform/hdr-image-format#GContainer_detailsYet ACR does it differently. JPGs with gain maps exported by ACR work in Chrome, but they don't work in Google Photos. While the example photos provided by google that can be found here: https://www.notebookcheck.net/New-Google-Ultra-HDR-image-format-demonstrated-as-future-of-photography.758787.0.htmland they do work with both Chrome and Google Photos, and they are also seen as valid and indistingishable from the ones exported by ACR when using Adobe Gain Map Demo App to inspect them. This makes it seem as if this issue could be addressed by Adobe, by fixing how ACR writes the exif, such that it's compatible with Google Photos. Presumably it could also be addressed by Google, if
Hi, using latest Lightroom Classic on MacOS 26. I have found that sometimes LRC gets confused about the exposure. I have a two image example where the images are exposed exactly the same but the resulting pano is messed up. One half of the resulting pano is exposed correctly, the other half is light. I've only seen this in iPhone RAW HDR images. The one I kept was from Apple Camera but I've also seen it using Project Indigo camera. On the Indigo forum, another person was complaining about pano issues (black bars ending up in panos). I've also seen this issue and have example RAW images.https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-ecosystem-cloud-based-discussions/p-introducing-the-project-indigo-camera-app/m-p/15440106/page/21#M106426I tried attaching example files but that failed. How can I get images to the Lightroom team? [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]
Have been using PS and Camera Raw fine for years. Not changed my system at all, but had a short break over Christmas. Camera Raw updated to 17.1 on 16th Dec. Been trying all day to process a backlog of photos and every time I try even the simplist of raw edits I get "the graphics processor has encountered an out of memory error" . Any suggestions on where to start as its currently unusable?System is a Geecom GT1 Mega running Windows 11 Pro. Intel Arc Graphics with the latest drivers.
Steps to reproduce:Open raw image in Adobe Camera RawSelect masking (M)Create new mask of any typeAttempt to type a two-digit value anywhere (e.g.: set sharpness to 15) What happens at this point is you type "1" followed by "5" and you end up with a value of 5, not 15. It accepts only 1 digit numbers, replacing any previous values when typing additional digits. If needed, I can make a screen video of this bug. Mac, ACR ver 14.4.0.1121 Does anyone know the last stable version of this?

One of the biggest challenges when editing digital photos is reducing the artificial, overly crisp appearance that’s often associated with the “digital look.” While current frequency-based tools in ACR (texture, clarity and dehaze) are useful, they fall short when trying to soften this digital harshness. Pushing these sliders to the left often produces undesirable artifacts and side effects. Main limitations with current tools (texture, clarity and dehaze): Color bleeding and smearing: Reducing clarity or dehaze tends to spread colors beyond their natural boundaries, causing them to mix with neighboring tones in an unnatural way. Unwanted darkening: If there is a large area without highlights, what area will become overly dark when reducing dehaze (adding haze). Usually this ends up darkening faces or other relevant parts of the photo. Dark halos and artifacts: When reducing clarity, a noticeable dark halo often appears around dark objects placed against midtone backgrounds, pr

I can't even acess task manager to end Camera Raw and have to turn off the power supply and restart. Any suggestion? It isn't any particular preset and everythin is up to date. It didn't used to do this - it has only occured with the more recent PS updates

I have an ongoing problem where I reopen a Canon .cr2 file in Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) but the settings from when I have worked on the file in the past are not there when I reopen the file. I am not the only person having this problem. Please see camera raw not reading previously saved XMP files By opening .xmp files in Word, having changed the extension to .txt, and reading the information within I have discovered a difference in the .xmp files that don't work. The top lines of the files that don't work are<x:xmpmeta xmlns:x="adobe:ns:meta/" x:xmptk="XMP Core 5.1.2">The top lines of the .xmp files that do work are<x:xmpmeta xmlns:x="adobe:ns:meta/" x:xmptk="Adobe XMP Core 5.6-c128 79.159124, 2016/03/18-14:01:55 "> It appears that somehow ACR is using two different versions of XMP Core to create the .xmp files. When the older one is used the program doesn't save the ACR data. I have verified this by looking down through the .xmp data. In an .xmp that doesn't work there are 57
The most recent firmware update 10.08.03.67 for the DJI FC8282 Air3 broke the ability of LR / Camera Raw to recognize its camera as a supported camera, and the Adobe camera profiles are no longer available for the camera's DNGs. The update changed EXIF:UniqueCameraModel from "DJI FC8282 Air3" to "DJI FC8282". But "DJI FC8282 Air3 Adobe Standard.dcp" is defined on the former camera-model name and doesn't recognize the new one. You can download two sample DNGs from here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/is3vqeiyatkfe0m73or87/not_works_DJI_20240101111934_0001_D.DNG?rlkey=olocbbemz6vzg8l32yqsqosg2&dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/4e3dgl8p5s66a9lk3lv4l/works_DJI_20231210105602_0005_D.DNG?rlkey=22xdldkjdmrbxb0i0ag0vo982&dl=0 When you import them into LR 13.1, observe that the Adobe camera profiles are available for the "works" DNG but not the "not_works" DNG. Here is the relevant output from Exiftool: ======== not_works_DJI_2024010111193

Hello everyone, I'm having a problem with the way masks work in Camera Raw: when I apply a mask, the colors appear completely distorted for the selected area, even though I haven't applied any adjustments yet... all the sliders seem to be going haywire. I've attached an example. Thanks for your help.Giovanni
Almost all of my editing in Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop involves birds and their backgrounds. I regularly use ACR’s Subject Mask to make targeted adjustments, but the masking engine in ACR is far less accurate than the cloud-based version available in Photoshop. Photoshop consistently delivers better results, with more complete subjects and fewer background errors. The extra time it takes to generate the mask in Photoshop is negligible.Since ACR is the better place to apply tonal and color corrections, it’s frustrating that we can’t access the same high-quality masking engine there. ACR’s local model frequently includes poles, wires, or parts of the background, and sometimes even misses parts of the actual subject. In one recent example, I had a landscape-style image with two Great Blue Herons. One was prominently in the foreground, and the other was farther back but still clearly visible. ACR masked only the closer bird. Photoshop, using its cloud-based engine, successfully detected
