In Camera Raw (15.0), I can no longer adjust the size of a liner gradient mask or a radial gradient mask. The size lines/box that shows the mask area are first there when making the mask however as soon as I click to place, the lines/box disappear and I can no longer adjust the mask at all. The attached image is of a liner gradient mask after being placed (red area). As you can see no adjustment box is present so I can not adjust the size of the mask at all as I could before. Please do let me know if this is a bug or an easy fix I am missing. Thanks.
My computer system is up to date for all updates, and my Photoshop application is the latest version. After installing the latest version of Camera RAW, the Camera RAW interface does not open. How can I fix this issue?
A little perplexed with why PS 26.8.0 is able to run graphics processor and Camera Raw is giving an error; Graphics Accceleration Disabled Due to Error. What is the error?Latest NVIDIA Studio driver is installed 576.80Thanks
I updated ACR to 17.4. 1 and now the brush in the mask section doesn't work normally anymore. When I try to mask an area I only see the red overlay very slightly, no matter how many times I brush over it, it only stays very slightly red. What I try to adjust with the brush now also works very minimally. In the overlay settings the overlay is at 100% Before the update the brush worked perfectly, does anyone know what the problem could be? (Windows 11 PC with Intel I9 13900k processor - 64Gb RAM - NVIDIA RTX 4070)
Topaz Photo AI plugin accepts LRC and PS raw files. After processing, it save these files as DNG. Unfortunately the processed files are 5 to 7 times larger than the raw files. Topaz Photo AI does not compress its output files. Topaz support recommends processing the larger files with the Adobe DNG Converter to reduce file size. But Topaz does not provide a recommended workflow to accomplish the conversion. My question is: Does Adobe DNG Converter accept DNG files as input? If I use LRC to invoke the Topaz plug-in, Photo AI will return a DNG file to LRC automatically. How do I process the Topaz DNG file with DNG Converter after it is included in the LRC catalog? It seems to me that if you modify the file after it is imported/included in the catalog, the catalog would be corrupted. If anyone has any thoughts, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm working on an MBP 2019, its a few years old, it will likely be updated soon, but it has been handling what I do how I have needed it to. I have been using the ACR Denoise Tool occassionally. On this old MBP it used to load a Preview Box to show me how it will update my image. It would then take 4 mins (per image) to update and create a DNG file. However, now it no longer does this. It just updates the RAW image with the automatic setting of 50, which takes 4 mins to process. As 50 is always too much I move the slider and then it takes another 4 mins to make the new adjustments. Any future adjustments after this doesn't seem to take the 4 mins, but does seem to slow down the computer. But if I'm working with more than 1 image, switching back and forth between the two takes up alot of CPU. Whilst I appreciate the convenience of having an adjustment slider. At the moment, I prefer the previous way of doing this, i.e having a p
Hello, I have Photoshop 2025 installed to three Mac laptops. Each laptop shows different number of Canon camera models available to select, from 20+ to 30+. Why number of models is different for each installation? Also, my Canon D90 is missing from all three laptops. On one of the laptops I uninstalled Adobe Photoshop and reinstalled it (and Camera Raw).Selection of Canon models is still the same. How do I add Canon 90D to Camera Raw? Thank you so much for you help!
When I use the AI denoise feature a very distracting purple streak/band appears on the lower edge of the image (see screenshots). I expect Camera Raw to not produce a purple streak on the onage after using AI denoise. I was looking back at some files with AI denoise that I created with earlier versions of camera raw and I do not see this happening. The original file of which the screenshots have been taken after adding denoise AI is available here. I´m using the AI denoise feature in the latest version of camera raw (17.4.1) , same happens in Lightroom Classic in the latest version (14.4). MacOs version is Sequoia 15.5 (24F74). The camera used to shoot the attached dng is a Leica SL2.Many thanks for your quick help/action on this!
Hi,I've been facing this problem for at least two weeks and no one has managed to solve it.I open Photoshop and I open an image (it's the same problem with raw or jpegs), then i launch Camera Raw filter and nothing happens, but Photoshop stops to respond to commands. The only option I have is to force its arrest. My environment:laptop with windows 10 22h2 build 19045.596513th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900H 2.60 GHz32 GB of RAMNVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU with the latest driverPhotoshop 26.8.1Latest version I tried of Camera Raw is 17.4I've tried, with the assistance of Adobe staff several things.I reinstalled both Photoshop and Camera Raw, I disabled the GPU or only some functions, I deleted camera raw settings and restarted, I shift+clicked lancing camera raw, nothing worked. It works if I install version 14.5 of Camera Raw, but it's not a good solution, since I miss all new functionalities.I've also tried with Adobe cleaner tool, removing Photoshop and Camera RAw and instal
copia pega , seria genial que fuese posible copiar o pegar una mascara radial o pincel o efecto en el momento de estar aplicando el efecto desde el mismo espacio de trabajo.
Hello, First of all, I have been commenting on https://community.adobe.com/t5/camera-raw-discussions/camera-raw-amp-dng-converter-17-3-are-now-available/m-p/15304156#M28108 but nobody replied also send a message to Adobe employee but also didnt get any reply. I made the comment during the BETA so I hoped that this wont be published to main product but nobody take action. So I decided to write here.Since the latest update of Camera Raw (17.4) there is no posibility to create DNG file from .NEF file Editing (Denoise etc) creating .acr on the file directory which is no use to me. My work flow was like this1. Open 10 photo on Camera Raw2. Select all the photos and denoise to create new DNG file for each of them (Screenshot 1) The reason to do that, its always much better to work on DNG files for me. That option creates a Denoise for all the selected photos according to selected sharpening and denoise value (Screenshot 2) With the 17.4 this option has gone1. Denoise option
When choosing Open Copy after making edits, Photoshop displays a standard background layer regardless of whether Open as a Smart Layer is enabled in the system settings or not. Unless the only purpose of the setting is to change the default display (instead of providing a link back to the RAW file as the default), ignoring this setting does not make sense. Currently, when a Smart Object is not desired, the ability to open it as a regular file or a copy can be achieved simply via a keyboard shortcut or by selecting a different option; however, the system setting should not be overwritten when it is enabled for copies. Simply put, it interferes with the user's creative abilities by limiting options to Open, Open Object, and Open Copy, rather than Open, Open Object, Open Copy, and Open Copy Object. For real-world examples, this limitation can be an issue when using copies is desirable for creating multiple versions (e.g., color, black-and-white, neon), producing multiple copies
So I was removing an area from a photo taken with my mirrorless camera. I successfully complete the operation, but to my dismay, only when I printed the file I realized that the remove are had a super low DPI quality (did not match the DPI or sharpness of the original image). Am I missing something to enhance the quality of the remove section ?Looked inside the Enhance function, but that only enhances the original image xtimes. Thank you for any help with this!
Is there a place where I can download an old version of ACR? I need 4.6 for CS3. thanks!
In this image, I wanted to remove the reflections from the sky and mountains, but not the underside of the wing. When I tried it, the contrast in the sky was increased which made the reflections more noticeable, not less. This is a great feature, but it doesn't work in all cases just yet. Keep going! 14.1 LR Classic with Camera Raw 17.4

In an image with geometry adjustments (Geometry/Guides) the mask of a person is shifted to the left, see image.
Following recent update to ACR 17.4.1 I noted that within the detail panel the masking slider is no longer there. I use the masking slider all the time I use the detail panel to limit how much and where sharpness is applied.I use Windows 11 24H2
Today I was confronted with a new release in Photoshop where Camera Raw took over my workflow. All tools are arranged differently distorting my workflow. Not only do I have to learn anew I seem to need to make a copy of my RAW file in to prevent I can no longer see it. In my workflow I save the worked file in another place and then close the RAW file. I know rhe original RAW file reappeares when you delete the xmp file, but I will be able to make different edits without visually changing the original.
I just bought a new Lenova Yoga 9i Aura with an integrated Intel Arc 140Z GPU (16GB). Installed the latest version of Photoshop. Adobe Camera Raw crashes with gpu errors when I apply edits and sometimes just after opening an image. Photoshop and Bridge run without error. I've tried both the latest and second to latest Intel drivers. I've also tried disabling gpu processing in camera raw to no avail. Any ideas? Any thoughts??
A couple of days ago I noticed that when I am zooming in on part of the image and I am using, let's say, the Move tool, when I press the space bar to temporarily get the HAND tool and move the canvas, when I release the space bar, the hand tool persists and I do not get back to the move tool. This is extremely annoying, and I need to get around this issue, as it is affecting my work. Any hints? (MacBook Air 13" M1, Sequoia 15.5 (24F74), Photoshop 26.7.0)
Make a filter for stray hairs removal, as we have for people. The retouchers have to do it manually (either with a Stamp or a Healing brush) which takes too much time. While Adobe is sleeping, some AI plugins already can do it quite well!
