Camera Raw

The last updates to PS (v.26), CameraRaw (v.17) and LRC (v.14.0.1) have left updater files in the /tmp/ folder of macOS 15.0.1. I assume they usually are deleted after the updates are installed. I noticed as a daily run of Intego Virus Barrier reports them as malware. I deleted them manually and solved the issue, and I expect if I had a reason to reboot my M2 MBA that would also have cleared them.I haven't seen this before, so I thought I should report it.

Hi I recently had updated phtoshop which was the worst decision. After the update camera raw would not let me add images to photshop by draggin them. I deleted Camera raw file but now Photoshop cannot not find a file. How do reinstall Camer Raw?

I just installed all the new updates, i.e., for Camera Raw 17, Photoshop 2025, and Lightroom Classic.  But, I’m not able to see the new features in Camera Raw 17 (Denoise, Adobe Adaptive, Crop and Expand, etc) for files I’ve uploaded via Lightroom.  I’ve tried turning on Technology Preview in settings and restarting several times, but still no change.  I’ve also tried reinstalling both Photoshop and Camera Raw. However, when I upload RAW files directly to Photoshop / Camera Raw, I’m then able to see all the new features in Camera Raw 17, but that’s not my workflow.  What am I missing?   Would appreciate any help.

Is it possible to change the default save path for exporting DNG files after AI denoising in the Camera RAW module?

HiSeems to me that the new denoise and enhance in the new Camera Raew are very time consuming when trying to edit multiple pictures. First enhance the pictures, wait for that, the denoise, weait for that, and when doing that it locks photoshop so its impossible to do anything els in the meantime. If possible pls. make it possible to continue working while enhancing is in progress, as in the former denoise with DNG copies

I just installed the October '24 updates. ACR 17.0.0.2043, Photoshop 26.0. GPU acceleration set to Auto in ACR. On loading two CR3 files (Canon 90D) into ACR, the main image came up black. Thumbnails showed correctly. This was both in Photoshop and Bridge-hosted ACR. Rebooting the computer fixed the issue. This seems to be a new problem with the latest version of ACR when using Remove with Generative AI: the content generated is slightly darker than the rest of the image, and there's a hard edge to the generated content. I don't recall this being an issue when using Generative AI before to remove objects. See the following screen shots that document the issue. .why will the new denoise ai not show when i open an image in camera raw 17.i am using windows 11

To replciate: 1) Start in full screen mode2) Apply a custom white balance to a number of images. 3) Select all images 4) Press "F" to exit full screen mode 5) Note how white balance from first image is applied to all images.   HUGE PROBLEM. Please fix!See attached video.

Camera RAW 16.5 for Mac running MAC OS Sequoia is previewing inaccurately suddenly.Images load into Camera RAW and look dark despite reviewing all settings. When I render the image into Photoshop, it looks completely "correct"It obviously makes using Camera RAW impossible.What am I missing, something simple?

I am opening an image (1024 × 853, colour profile: sRGB IEC61966-2.1) with the Camera RAW. After that, I am trying to enlarge it by following those steps: Right click -> Enhance -> Super Resolution There I see white image on: "Enhanced". The most recent firmware update 10.08.05.77 for the DJI FC8284 Air3 broke the ability of LR / Camera Raw to recognize its camera as a supported camera, and the Adobe camera profiles are no longer available for the camera's DNGs.   Please note I can apply Auto lens correction where the Make, Model, and Profile are correctly applied, but unfortunately, I cannot use any Adobe Color profiles. -In my editing, I prefer to start in Adobe Color Neutral and build from there.   Example file: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/el8y5li4k5u7q8muztq2h/DJI_20240628110415_0361_D.DNG?rlkey=ul8l3q9lhy9neb4xrp44t7s7a&dl=0   File EXIF data:   Device make: DJI Device model: FC8284 Software: 10.08.05.77 Lens: 70.0 mm f/2.8    

I have updated Vietnamese for photoshop, but why is camera raw still not in Vietnamese?

Das neueste Update ist eine Katastrophe! Ich muss ständig in der Menüführung auswählen hin und her scrollen, suchen...etc Das macht die Arbeit ungemein aufwendig und ich finde keinen Mehrwert durch das neue Update! Bin kurzd avor mein Abo zu kündigen und auf Capture One umzusteigen. Wie kann ich bei mehreren in den Raw Konverter geladenen Bildern den Weissabgleich mache ??????

bonjour a tous, j'ai l'habitude de travailler avec des profils RNI ils sint compatibles avec LR classic et CAMERA RAW j'ai la version 4 et la 5 mon problème est quils s'affichent dans LR Classic mais dans CAMERA RAW seul la version 5 affiche les profils.  la version 4 bienque telechargées ne s'affichent et il est impossible de la réinstaller puisque PS m'indique qu'elle est déjà installée ??? j'ai tout essayé (redemarrer mon macbook pro, tentative impossible de réinstallation..) rien n'y fait quelqu'un a qui cette mésaventure serait arrivée ?  je prefere travailler dans CR plutot que LR... bonne journée a tous

I'm not sure if I'm in the correct group...I am trying to add photos from a Scandisk to Lightroom.  The images are raw files and I keep getting the message the format is not compatible.  This only happens with Raw files.  Any ideas why?  Thanks in advance for any help.

El proceso del asunto lo he seguido intuitivamente, dando como resultado un problema, derivado de mi ignorancia, con archivos virtuales que Windows muestra en miniaturas de color (son en blanco y negro) y asuntos como borrarlos y que no aparezcan en la papelera etc.Todo ello puesto que cerré la edición con "Abrir en ACR" y no con "HECHO" y pasos siguientes en Bridge. He sguido los pasos lógicos en búsqueda de formación, pero no encontré respuestas adecuadas. Pido, por favor, que alguien me diga dónde puedo formarme en esto.Gracias anticipadas

Hallo ihr Lieben, ich habe folgendes Problem (und bin auf den Hilfeseiten und hier in der Suche nicht fündig geworden): Wenn ich RAW-Dateien in Photoshop öffne oder bei einer bereits geöffneten Datei den Camera RAW-Filter öffnen möchte, tut sich... nichts.Klicke ich irgendwo anders hin, ertönt nur der übliche Fehler-Ton von Photoshop (als würde es noch laden und deshalb gerade keinen anderen Befehl annehmen). Auch nach längerem Warten (ich habe zB mal über 10min gewartet um es auszutesten) passiert rein gar nichts.Photoshop lässt sich dann auch nur via "Task beenden" schließen obwohl es laut Task-Manager nicht abgestürzt ist.Laut Photoshop wird die Grafikkarte erkannt und ist kompatibel (laut Lightroom wird sie vollumfänglich unterstützt). Hat jemand dasselbe Problem und / oder weiß Rat?Ich habe die Creative Suite schon vollständig inkl. Einstellungen deinstalliert, PC neugestartet und alles wieder installiert - Erfolglos.Natürlich kann ich die Dateien in Lightroom bearbeiten

Bonjour - J'ai un abonnement photographe Creative Cloud mais je ne parviens pas à ouvrir Camera RAW. Je viens pourtant de mettre à jour cette application. Pourriez-vous me dire comment démarrer Camera RAW. Par avance merciCordialementJYD

I'm trying to add my first LUT into camera raw. Following tutorials I've found online, it says to open an image in Camera Raw, click the three dots next to the profile options, and then - while holding the alt key on windows - select the create preset menu option. On my system, as soon as I press the alt key, the menu disappears and all the camera raw settings change to a reset mode. Am I doing something wrong?  I appreciate any help I can get.   

I have a lot of problems managing my NVIDIA graphics card using camera raw. It seems like it doesn't manage the ram well. My work slows down because it works slowly. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? My graphics card is RTX40. Thank you 

Hi @ all.I m working every day with camera raw.During the last years, i noticed that it is getting slower day by day.A few years ago when i moved from one photo to another, the photo was changed immediately.Now i have to wait 3-4 - 10 seconds.When i work with some masks, camera raw is getting slower.When i want to off one mask for example (click on the eye icon), it need 4 5 seconds to disable the mask.Actually i m working with a Mac Book M1 PRO MAX. in 2022 camera raw was "smooth as butter" now.. same hardware same camera it is very slow.I spent a lot of times looking for a solution.I Installed old version of  OS but nothing is changed.If is for you the same please upvote.If you found a solution, please let me know how.Camera raw is a must and a standard for pro and it must work super fast on good hardware.
