Hi! I Have a Sigma FP that uses cinemaDNG ver 1.40 files for recording, I wanted to compress this files using the Adobe DNG Converter sadly Davinci Resolve fails at reading those DNG files (only Black and a thin white line above on the player). It's a problem from some meta tags on the DNG files or maybe a Resolve Issue? Any Ideas Thanks. BTW I tried using Custom settings and 1.4 DNG ver backwards and Camera RAW 7.1 and later options
If my camera (Canon 5D4) is taking a full sized 30 MP RAW images, when I'm in ACR, should I not be using Default (16.9 MP) in Image Sizing and instead Resize to Fit Megapixels and change megapixels to 30 MP to get the best quality image?
Hello,I have noticed that the color temp. in ACR is inverse actual color temp. ???The colder it gets the lower the number??Actual color temp goes like this, an incandescent bulb (very hot) is 2900 KOvercast day is 5000 KBlue sky (back to the sun) is about 6500 K Is there any way to change the scale so it reads as it should? Thanks
My computer crashed, after reinstalling Monteray iMac , Lightroom and Photoshop worked again, but camera raw was gone. And I don't see a possibility to reinstall Camera raw. What to do, anybody an idea?
Everytime Adobe does a major update, it takes about 2 months for them to unravel these very familiar problems. First, let me get this out of the way, I work on: iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020) 3.8 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i7 80 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 AMD Radeon Pro 5500 XT 8 GB (supports full acceleration) Camera raw, Canon R5 CR preferences: ProPhoto RGB, 8 bit, 300 dpi, cache 50 GB AdobeCC 2022 80% of my business is product photography. I just got the update to Photoshop CC 2022 yesterday 10/28. Today I am trying to edit photos I took for Rolex, and using the adjustment brush (as it's own mask or an add-on to "select subject" mask1 ) is like watching paint dry. A fast adjustment brush is critical for true sRGB white backgrounds in my product photog workflow considering I average 200 deliverables per week. Another problem is that cropping went back to a slow glide motion where the photo is moved around, rather than the much quicker crop lines being what moves. These 2 issues alon
Muchas gracias.
Hi, I have a problem with the Сamera RAW module. When I open it, the window does not fit into the screen frame and this interferes with work. I can't scale the window in any way, I changed the version of the module, it doesn't help. Please, I tried everything, tell me what the problem is and how to solve it.
var desc1 = new ActionDescriptor(); desc1.putBoolean(charIDToTypeID("AuTn"), true); // AuTn = Auto executeAction(stringIDToTypeID('Adobe Camera Raw Filter'), desc1, DialogModes.NO);In this script, "AuTn" is every parameter in automatic light and shadow of Camera Raw. I only need automatic white and black, because I don't want automatic exposure, and exposure will affect the results of automatic white and black. So, is there any way to be automatic only for white and black?

Hi everybody, I need an advice about this.I'm using a Sony camera that supports 14 bit raw files, but when I open Camera Raw, I see at the bottom Adobe RGB 1998 8 bit... Is there a 14 bit workspace mode?I noticed that the only two options available are 8 or 16 bit. I'm sorry, but I'm just a beginner, any help would be appreciated. Thank you Andrea
We're happy to announce the release of Camera Raw & DNG Converter 14.3What’s in the 14.3 updates? GPU acceleration now speeds up save, open, and the Camera Raw filter. For supported GPUs, see this Support for new cameras and lenses New camera models are added for Canon Camera Matching color profiles. For details, see Camera Matching Color Profiles. Bug fixes Download DNG Converter 14.3To update Camera Raw to 14.3, click "Update" in the Creative Cloud desktop app next to Camera Raw. More detailed instructions for updating
Hi, I'm using the Camera Raw 2022 (ver. 14.1), and when I work with the mask feature, it crashes. I ended up saving the image to DNG every single step. Also, sometimes it doesn't let me use the visible/invisible toggle key for a mask, and if you insist it will crash. Imac 27" i5 2019 8 gb RAM
Hi team, first off, English is not my mother tongue plus I also use the German version of LrC and CR, but I hope to get better help here in the English forum. I was sent over here from another thread in the LrC Forum, where I started this discussion:https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/vignetting-profile-correction-for-canon-rf100-500-makes-it-even-worse/m-p/12845779I really hope this is the right subforum, its not really a bug, more a report of a lens profile that need attention.I have recently gotten a new Camera and Lens, and have big trouble correcting vignetting caused by my lens. When I apply the automatically suggested correct profile for my lens, I surely can see a difference, but looking into detail the result gets worse than before. My goal is to help adjusting/fixing the existing lens profile used by CR and LrC with my examples.I am using LrC 11.2 with CR 14.2. Recovering highlights from a Sony A7IV causes strange stripes artifacts on the overexposed areas, and just on those. (see image attached)It happens with every raw type, compressed, uncompressed, and lossless compressed. Shot with mechanical shutter. The same problem shows on the Sony A7SIII while old Sony A7rII and A7S cameras don't show the problem. I tried editing the image on the Sony imaging Desktop software (which is total crap of course) and the problem didn't occur. So I bet there should be a way of getting past the issue. Has anyone else found this strange behaviour with new sony cameras?
The help page Work with lens profiles in Photoshop, Lightroom, and Camera Raw is two years out-of-date with respect to embedded lens profiles: 1. It doesn't mention how some newer camera/lens combinations are handled, showing the profile as "Camera Settings" and allowing Enable Profile Corrections to be disabled. (Note that the ability to disable the lens profile depends on both the camera and the lens.) 2. It says, "Lens correction for all Micro 4/3 (MFT) lenses and cameras, including Panasonic, Olympus, and other cameras (Fuji X, Leica Q, plus many point-and-shoot models from Canon.)" That should probably be changed to include "most mirrorless cameras". There's at least one post a month in the LR forum expressing confusion about embedded lens profiles, so it would be good to beef up this page, include with more screenshots showing how newer cameras like the Nikon Z 6 II and the Z 9 are handled. Then we could just point users to the
Can ACR (Adobe Camera Raw) be set to work on dual screens on MAC?Panels/tools on one monitor, and the image on another?Cheers
Hello, When converting new Raw files for older versions of Lightroom and Camera Raw, I have to choose the DNG compatibility, e.g. Camera Raw 11.2 and later. I'd like to know if I'm missing some newer features by choosing an older version to be supported. Are there any drawbacks of choosing the oldest version to have maximum compatibility?
In older versions of ACR I could "save camera raw defaults" with one click/ drop down menu when shooting tethered, every image being imported would use the same settings (White Balance etc).I called Adobe phone support and his solution was saving a preset, then using the preset as a default, is there any way to save the settings more easily?Did I miss a drop down "save camera raw defaults" or similar?
Hi everybody, for a few days now I can not use Camera Raw properly, as the controllers are not shown anymore. Please have a look at the screenshot PS CC 19.1.4ACR 10.5MacOS 12.3 Does anybody has an idea what the rason for this might beBest RegardsFelix
Bridge: v12.0.1.146Camera Raw: v14.2.0.1028Camera: Ricoh Theta Z1 19GB version, FW 2.00.1OS: Windows 10 Pro latestProblem:Bridge + ACR occasionally hangs when you open DNG file that has a(ny) preset applied. When no preset is applied (a prestine DNG file downloaded from camera) ACR opens the file without any issues.A preset is either set:through Bridge (right click > Develop Settings > add cert. preset, orthrough editing in ACR first, then saved (preset is saved as well) and then to reopen the DNG file through Bridge again. In both instances Bridge + ACR crashes and hangs due to the preset. More Info- I create the presets from a prestine Z1 DNG file and then save it in ACR. This way I can add presets in Bridge to several and similar (raw) photo's before opening (again) in Bridge + ACR- I do not have this issue with DNG files with preset applied from other camera's (e.g. DJI drones & action cams). These open in ACR as expected. Workaround- In Bridge r
[This post contains formatting and embedded images that don't appear in email. View the post in your Web browser.] The Cameras Supported By Camera Raw page incorrectly shows that the newly added OM Digital Solutions OM SYSTEM OM-1 doesn't have camera-matching profiles available: But in fact, LR shows camera-matching profiles available for this sample OM-1 raw: See here for someone confused by this: https://community.adobe.com/t5/camera-raw-discussions/p-raw-file-support-requests-and-information-new-camera/m-p/12854482#M17719
I just had an update complete on my computer. I realized that Camera Raw had somehow been deleted in the process. I downloaded the CR version that works with Photoshop CS6. But the CR won't let me open images directly into PS after I've completed some macro edits in CR. I have to go into Bridge and push Open with Adobe Photoshop CS6.Can this be adjusted so that I can just open the image like I used to be able to do directly out of CR?Thank you for your time.
The new enhanced profiles can include LUTs, but the most common color space for existing LUTs, Rec 709, is omitted: There are thousands of Rec 709 LUTs available for video color grading, and allowing Rec 709 LUTs in enhanced profiles would let people achieve the same look for their video and still images.Note that it would be necessary to include two versions of Rec 709 for gamma 2.2 and 2.4, since those are both widely used.
