Hi, The Adobe Learning Manager [https://captivateprime.adobe.com/] has been under maintenance for many hours now. This is quite inconvenient for some of us who work during the week and only have time to study during the weekend.   Do you know how long the Adobe Learning Manager will continue to be under maintenance?   [User-Experience tip for the captivateprime.adobe.com team: In the weeks prior to maintenance, place a notification containing the maintenance dates on the course page. ] 

I was asked to create a Captivate project from a PowerPoint and it has been published to our LMS. One of the learners sent a screenshot showing that several slides were blank except for the next/previous buttons and the slide numbers (picture below). Since I used the "Create Project from PowerPoint" option, these buttons and slide numbers were the only thing I had added.  I can't duplicate this error in testing, there is definitely content on the slide. Has anyone else seen this error? I've been googling and searching this site but can't find anyone else with the same issue. The only thing I can think of is the learner was commecting from home through a virtual desktop using the VMware Horizon client and maybe that affected it? Any help would be appreciated as this is Compliance training so figuring this out is high-stakes for me!  

Gentlefolk,An issue that has plagued me forever with Captivate 2019, the rows in my closed captioning window are not numbered. In all the demos I have seen, everyone but me has rows numbered!Pushing Captivate 2019 on Windows 10.Suggestions for getting my row numbers to display?Many thanks!Don

Hi there - I created video in mp4 format and inserted this into a Captivate project.  Once the slide hits the video an icon will spin for a bit, then the video plays.  What can I do so it plays seamlessly. Thanks.

Hi! We're trying to copy/paste text from an outline in a word document into Adobe Captivate slides...standard opperating procedures that  we want to track people reviewing. I'm wondering, is there a way to copy/paste from the word document and have the highlighted lines in the image indent? We don't want to start over with lettering/bullets/numbers as it needs to mirror the SOP's numbering scheme. It's not a huge thing if they don't indent...but I sure would like it if it would. 

Hello All, I'm having seeking some guidance resetting a Quiz from within a Captivate/SCORM 2004 3rd Ed file. On a very basic level, I'm allowing 2 attempts at the Quiz before the student must click the "Retake Chapter" button. This button resets all of our User-created Variables and states of Smartshapes, and Jumps to Slide 1 (effectively resetting the "instruction portion" of the Chapter and starting the student over). Captivate Support advised that resetting the Quiz should be done with an Execute JavaScript > cp.resetQuizData() > Current Window. To be clear, I know nothing about JavaScript, I literally copied-and-pasted what they sent me. This command doesn't seem to be doing the trick- the student is still locked out of the Quiz after hitting the max number of attempts. This was confirmed by the Quiz Instructions Slide's "Next" button (Go To Next Slide) will not go to the first Quiz Slide. I called Support today and they told me that "JavaScript is ou

Is there a way to make drag and drop answers stay in the place that it was dropped, even when going back and forth between mutliple slides? This is more for a practice type exercise and there aren't any right or wrong answers but I need the drop sources to stick to their drop targets. I haven't found this answer yet. Thank you.

We are having a problem with our Adobe Captivate software, where it will no longer print project handouts, lessons, step-by-steps, and storyboards, because Captivate uses .DOC Word files as the template and we can no longer open that file type with our enterprise upgrade to Office 365.  Even if we upgrade or replace the template files with .DOCX files, the Captivate application only allows the selection of .DOC files. Is there a way to change the Captivate template file type to .DOCX? Template DirectoryC:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 2019 x64\Gallery\PrintOutput Error Message Publishing Adobe Captivate projects to Microsoft Word

In a interactive video I want to put a Knowledge question for the first time in a specific frame but if the user gets the answer wrong, I want to bring the user back to the beginning and show to the user another question(randomly) in another random frame different from the previous one. Is possible to do it? if it is possible, how?

In my project I need that a question appear for the first time in a determinate frame but if the user fail the correct answer, second time the question has will have to appear in another frame(randomly).I would to know if is possible to change frame position of a knowledge question when the user fail the answer of the question for the first time.  I checked beetwen the system variables but I did not find nothing that can help me.

Hello all:I'm building a website in Moodle 4.0. I'm uploading many SCORM packages created in Captivate 2019 (Mac IOS 11.6.7 Big Sur). However, Zip packages don't upload and I get the following message.Incorrect file package - missing imsmanifest.xml or AICC structure When publishing I set:- Publish for devices- Zip files-Audio Settings - Custom- Display score - No- Mobile Gestures - Yes- Geolocation - NoAccessiblity - YeseLearing Output - disable  Can someone help me with this issue? Sincerely,    

Does each Adobe product subscription have to be purchased seperately, or are there any combined (either all of / custom combos) subscrtiptions?   

I have a responsive project which I published using the 'Publish to Devices' option and then a collegue put it on our website. However, my boss is saying she wants it bigger on the screen? how do I achieve this? I can't find the option for 'Scalable HTML content'.  The 'Original project size' is 1024 x 627  

Hello. I am using Captivate 2019 to create accessible e-module for our LMS. I sent a preview of the module to our accesibility team, who came back to me and said that the focus indicator around buttons should be more prominent when navigating the screen with the TAB key.  Is there a way to change either the thickness of the indicator line or add a contrasting colour? Or am I limited to the defaults of Captivate? Thank you! 

I am new to Captivate. I have a next button on first slide with audio file. I need the next button to be disabled when slide opens and next button enabled when audio file completes, so that user can click to go next slide. Could you please advise. Best rgdsMahesh

We have created quiz questions in Adobe Captivate using fluid boxes and aligned the space between options on mobile view. But, when we moved to desktop view, the alignments are inconsistent. Please let us know if is there any solution to fix this spacing inconsistent issue across all devices, attached screenshots for your reference.

Hi dear Adobe Community, Can someone please help me with the problem I have with Adobe Captivate and help me preserve my sanity.I have the latest version of Captivate 2019 installed, and I want to be able to resume a project from the last visited slide. The project is published to a computer and intended to run from the browser HTML5(see the attached images) and not LMS. Every time I reopen the saved project it takes me to the first slide of the project and not the slide I have last visited. In this case, every time you start the project you will start to form the beginning no matter where you left it. I have the option "Show TOC" enabled and "Self-Place Learning" also enabled. And as I mentioned that the project is not intended for use with LMS I have the option "Enable reporting for this project" disabled. According to Captivate documentation enabling the option "Self-Place Learning" will do the trick, but I can't agree. Hello. I am using Captivate 2019 to create accessible e-module for our LMS. I am having an issue when testing with a screen reader. Not always, but occassionally, the screen reader will say "dot" at the end of a sentence when reading copy. This happens mostly in headers. For some reason it thinks the period at the end is a dot. But if I remove the period, the screen reader won't pause at the end of the header and will continue reading the next sentence as if it was a continuation of the header. Any advice on how to either:a) get the screen reader to pause at the end of a headerorb) get the screen reader to stop saying "dot" when it reads a period.  Thank you! 

Does anyone know of any widgets (for HTML5) that would listen for a mouse wheel double click? My limited javascript skills (i.e. copying other people's code examples) aren't working for me!To explain, in the software we are recording a mouse wheel double click returns the application to a default zoom level. There is no button or other way to achieve the same thing in the software, so we'd like to find a way to simulate this task.Thanks in advance!

Hi,Apologies if this has been covered somewhere else, I have had a quick look but I couldn't find anything, and a quick Google didn't turn up anything useful.I am trying to get my company to purchase Adobe Captivate 9 and due to the network of the computers it will be installed on none of the pc's  will ever be connected to the internet. Our IT department has been told by their software supplier that it is not possible to Install captivate 9 without an internet connection and that a connection is required at least every 30 days to re-validate the licence, is this correct?If the above is not correct what are the alternatives? I just assumed like with most software that there would be an offline registration option and that would be all that was needed, not the 30 day re-validation etc.  Having recently done a Captivate course I am keen to get the software in before I forget everything!Any help, advice or links to Adobe documents/instructions would be great, I can then pass the

Hello,  The age-old question- triggered audio and closed captions- is it possible yet? if not does anyone have an alternative to meet 508 complaince?  I know linked in learning shows you every note in a one-page format for each audio on the "scene" and I have worked with companies in the past who have done similar using storyline. but Captivate does not have a show notes option.  Other thoughts are to make interactions jump to another slide. but this would mean programming 5 slides as 1, but this would increase the time it takes to create/publish dramatically. ( 1 slide with 5 interactions becomes 6 slides and each slide having its own advanced action.. if client changes the way any button works at any point means recreating aspects of 6 advanced actions, right?) I am looking for advice any would be greatly appreciated   

 When recording a software sim, I have it so that it makes clickboxes upon mouseclick. I want the failure caption, but I don't like the auto populated text in the failure captions. The Quiz > Quiz Preferences> Quiz > Default Labels do NOT affect the text of the clickbox's failure caption. There must be a way to set it as Adobe is populating them with a dynamic something-or-rather, but I can't find threads that fix THESE failure boxes spefically.Again this is the Standard Objects failure captions, not the Quizzing Objects failure captions. Most up to dates vers, 64 bit, not fluid workspace.
