I'm looking for a character animator expert to design a photo realistic puppet. Paid gig. Thank you.
hello everyone, I have a problem, my puppet's arms are detached from the body. i can't understand what i'm wrong
Hi everyone!!I'm new to character animator. I just rigged my first puppet and it's working perfectly, but for some reason I can't see the taged draggers in the timeline. They appear nameless, yet though, they work just right. It's quite difficult to animate without being able to distinguish them in the timeline, so does anyone have a clue of what might be going on????Thank u all so much!
Hi! I'm trying to export a video with a transparent background. Instead, it is producing this black background around the scene. I have tried using the Export as Alpha, but this generates a 900 MB video for something that is only 30 seconds long and has only one character with minimal rigging! What am I missing here? See picture for a snapshot of what's happening. Thank you! 🙂
Hi,I'm trying to create a scene with a title for my short cartoon. I have a layer of the text in color in Adobe Illustrator which for some reason is not visible in Animator. The white background text (which will create a little motion via Cycle Layers) is visible in Animator. Any ideas? Here are a few photos:
Is there some way to control the amount of up and down movement of the puppet head during the walk cycle. Overall the walk cycle looks good. I've played around with moving the neck, head, shoulders. waist, etc. but no change seems to make much difference. It's not a huge deal. Just looking for more control. The transition from standing to walking would look better if I could more control over this. Heads don't normally move up and down as much when we walk. link to puppetthx
Hello,I have other similar puppets and their pupils move fine, however with this particular puppet I cannot get the pupils to move. Each eye is it's own layer, they both have a +Right Pupil and +Left Pupil, and they both have their own ranges (Right Eyeball & Left Eyeball). No matter what I do, I can't seem to get the pupils to respond to the camera, mouse, or keyboard input. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated! I put a link below with access to the puppet as well as the .AI file that it links to. Thank you! https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1h8qsvMOurJioe9GbX2bzxDo4To5CiMTG?usp=sharing
Hi, I am working on the custom body control. It works nice, but when I move both my arms the Character Animator chokes in the same way as if you use many midi knobs at the same time. But since I can record and replay one midi input at a time it is only an issue for a live performance. So I am thinking to start recording, record left shoulder --> rewind --> record left elbow --> etc. But if I am going to do it this way, every take will be a bit off when it comes to the timing. What would be a better way? Can I create a file or modify the recording file to make this process more smooth? I can see something interesting in "Ch Data\temp.noindex\compiler\sources" where to poke?
I do not use any other Adobe product, and an just beginning to learn Ch, but already I am stuck! After importing my own Digital Performer audio song files(I've tried: aif, wav or mp3's) from my MacBookPro desktop. My curser cannot grab and drag those imported audio filesfrom Project or Properties boxes, down to Timeline box. Thanks for your help.DP
hi i want to ask for help because adobe character animator can't find my tools when I want to live.
Hi,I have my Lip Sync computed from scene audio. I now want to use camera input for the face to capture movement, eyebrows, etc. However, muy facial movements now impact the lip sync. Is there a way to record face movements without impacting the lip sync that's already in place?
This was 1 year in the making with all the character and BG designs. Was super influenced by Final Space, and a bunch of others. Be warned it is Adult Content. https://youtu.be/pUOYqAnjrTA
hi!adobe character animator internal error code:(70845333:9170+4)how to fix this error?
Hello, so I was animating this 40-minute podcast but since i have such a low end pc i exported the puppets individually in a 1500x1500 resulotion in a high bite rate format and in estimated at about 2.8 GB file size. Is that normal? I think thats way too much for a 40 min mp4.
Hi!!I'm really new to Character Animator and I'm using to develop a school project. I found a problem of which I quiet can't get rid off. So my puppet has 3 different views (Frontal and 3/4 for each side), and for some reason I get a perfect view of the frontal one, but when I need to switch to the 3/4 my head's puppet will just dissapear. I noticed that when I turn on the body "right quarter" it makes dissapear the head "right quarter", as it might be making the program choose between those two. Although, in record mode it appears just fine, does anyone might have a clue of what's going on??Thank you all so much por your help ❤️
HiI've paid someone else to do an animation for me. They have been using the online character animator. I may have a need in the future to edit it. How do we download the entire project for backup to a hard drive? Thanks!Dave
I have a problem. Both of the eyes blink without problems but only the puppet's right eye follows my eyes but the left one does not. When I turn on the mesh feature I can see there is a mesh around the left eye.Is that the reason why the left eye does not move? How can I make the left eye follow the right eye?
I am having crashes when the camera is activated in character animator. I have tried 3 different webcams, including the Logitech c922 Pro. All three webcams results in the same problem. When I disable the camera, the application runs fine. No other issues (microphone works properly on all webcams). I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Character Animator and even did a clean uninstall and reinstall of Creative Cloud and all apps. I am using Windows 10, character animator version 4.2. I have double checked any windows updates and motherboard updates (ASrock b550m pro4). I have plenty of RAm (16gb). All 3 webcams work in different applications. I am a teacher and would like to use Character Animator for instructional videos. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hello, Last time I could solve my pupil problem by linking the right pupil to the eyeball. But I cannot remember how I did that. Can someone please help me and explain how I can make this downward arrow appear again between the pupil and the eyeball? Thank You.
I hve downloadeed the latest versions but when I click open in the adobe window nothing happens!
I want a way to flip the IK rig. I can imagine a lot of instances where this would be useful. I would think it would be fairly simple to do programmatically. Is there a way to do that already?
Hi this is my first time using character animator and I can't get the right eye on my puppet to work. The left one works fine, and as far as I can tell they should be exactly the same. It almost seems like the right eye is moving around the left, and decreasing the camera strength just makes the radius smaller Please let me know what I've done wrong or if there's a way to fix it!
I'm working on a college project that involves streamlining existing characters for quick animation purposes, such as music visualisers. The difficulty I'm having is that I need my character's legs obscured by the keyboard, but the hands need to be above the keyboard in order to play the keyboard prop itself. The only idea I had was to chop the keyboard in half, but when the character is playing lower chords this still wouldn't be a viable solution. Another idea I had was to have the arms on their own layer, but this always broke the puppet's rigging as it was no longer attached to the original body layers. Does anyone have a workaround I could try that wouldn't involve a complete re-rig? Rigging this correctly took a week of pain haha. Thank you so much for any ideas you may have!
The lip sync works fine, but the smile and surprised expressions refuse to appear while recording. It just stays at the nuetral mouth no matter what I do. I have them tagged as such.
