Hello,If I buy the Adobe Creative Cloud, do I find Character Animator in it ?Thanks for your answer,Q
Of course, now I have downloaded the Beta which will hopefully allow tracking to the left and right eventually but right now I am having my students create Walk Cycles with 3 Profile Puppets. They are practicing with the Eliza Puppet and folllowing Okay Samurai's tutorial. They have all rigged the puppets the same(at least from what I can tell after reviewing over 50 of them) but many (Like the puppet atached) will not swith to Left Profile and Standing with the arrow keys. The cycle starts with the Right Profile Walking Immediately.Any help with this issue would e greatly appreciated. I want them ( and me) to learn how to do this properly. Okay, so how do I upload a puppet. I get an error that ".puppet files are not supported" neither are .zip apparently.
¿Cómo logro encontrar la atualización de Character Animator?Veo que Body Tacker sólo funciona en versiones posteriores a la 4.3 pero esa versión no la encuentro.
Currently making a school project for youtube with vtuberisk style using adobe ch, and well, i've had a lot of issues with the eyes of this model, lots of research, learning and so on, but for the life of me i can't seem to figure this one out, i followed this simple written tutorial page, done everything as told also above and beyond of whats told, my current 2 problems are1) For whatever reason my animated blink doesen't work when im facing directly the camera, also the closed blink state gets stuck every now and then2) How do i make seperate eyelids behaviour from eachother, for example only closing one eye partially etc.? -i have attached a gif of my blink problem below.
Hi! Can someone help please. I have a few things that's not going well with my character. the puppet won't stay behind the desk When I move the puppet the arms moves, but then the hand smears. It'll do this for the left arm. Then it'll do for the right arm. When I polace the curser on the hand to move the arm. It doesn't move right away. I have to toggle it on the arm itself and then it moves.
when i use this linden puppet in Ch the fps is going very low (only when i use this puppet)
https://edex.adobe.com/resource/BMpf7Cs4r - Adobe education shared this tutorial link via marketing email, and it mentioned Pixar in a box, hosted by Khan Academy. Wow! Might be designed for school kids, but I found some really useful tips in there for how to put together a story. Adobe has addition material at https://edex.adobe.com/khan/storytelling I am still not sure the best storyboarding tool to use from Adobe's line up. Pixar goes through multiple iterations of increased detail. Eg scenes to shots, script, storyboard different scenes, add a voice track to the storyboards so yiu can watch like a movie, iterate and improve, replace sections with rough video mock, replace again with final renders, but the idea is you can watch the whole movie from very early on and get the feel of the story and flow, improving the quality of sections. E.g. if it was easy to create a new psd/illustrator file from inside CH to create a puppet from (just a static image), then
I recently finished creating my puppet on adobe Ch but I have another problem where I cannot import a video file. I want to use this file as a background for my puppet. I only know how to import png file. I really need some help!
I'm trying to get better at my puppet. I've watched a few of viceos, but it seems I'm missing something. My hands aren't moving along with my arms. My left hand was, but it was more of a smear. The right arm wasn't moving at all.
Has anyone figured out a good way to have 2 puppets shake hands? Is there a tutorial out or a discussion already make about this?
I used the zoom on the left pupil (for example) but I don't understand how to zoom out! There is only zoom in! Please help me....I can't work.
Hi, I dont know what's going on but it just not working at all - I have setup handles at hands, elbows and shoulders, yet nothing is moving when I record or stream- I have added a limb ik behaviour to the character in the camera view, I only see red dots on my face, but no limbs are detectedwhat am I missing ? thanks
Hello! Recently I made eyelashes which are a part of pupil range. So when the puppet blinks they still look stucked. I wanted to make a trigger, but I don't know is there a way to make not key, but face trigger. Current work looks like this: Is there a way to make eyelashes disappear while puppet blinks? I managed to do this using the key system, but I need to make it so that the appearing or disappearing of eyelashes depends directly on the puppet's blinking.
Hi there, recently I've try to use character animator for live. I've used to NDI plugin. But the problem is after I install everything, it's still not working. I've check (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore) and in my machine there is the (NewTek_NDI_Transmit.prm) file. I've re-install several times, but the Ndi output still wouldn't show up in charator animator settings. Hope someone help me out. HELP. Thx
Hi, for some reason when I start a freshly installed version, it creates a project that it cannot find (really? wth ?) as per the screenshot 1 the file is there at the right place2 developpers should know using spaces in paths is always a bad idea (even if windows allows it) how can I solve this ? thanks
Hello,Apologies if this has been brought up before. I'm pretty new to Character Animator and am having issues with movement for one eye. Maybe my google-fu isn't strong enough, but I wasn't able to find a solution to my problem. I was testing the range of the pupil movement with the keyboard input and noticed that when I press the arrow keys to look around, the (character's) left eye moves as expected, but the right eye barely moves down or to his left. Looking to his left isn't as big of a deal since the pupil is already pretty close to the inside of the eye, but looking down is extremely awkward. I tried adding the Pupil Range tags on both eyes. When I do this, the right eye is able to look left, but other than that, both eyes barely move. I've checked over and over again, and as far as I can tell, everything appears to be tagged correctly. Please help. Thanks in advance!
I'm having trouble doing this. I've created one character with three outfits. I'm trying to keep the same rigging for each of them so she changes while she's walking. However, I'm having a hard time duplicating the rigging on the character. I saved the puppet, then changed the original psd file. But when I go back into CA, only some of the rigging is the same. Can someone give me a step-by-step guide to making this happen?
Everytime I try to load my Character in Character Animator it constantly says :Error reading past end of file.Error code: (Container.js:389)Error code: (engine.js:411)Error code: (engine.js:570)Error code: (bootstrap.js:3)This seems to always happen whenever I start rigging my character, it's fine when its not rigged. Can anyone help?
After the 4.0 update a few of my puppets have this error upon opening. I had some .puppet files so I recovered most of them, but this one I need help with. I use windows and have always stored my files locally. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/jw16x5z9t33jofc/AAAJYKrJSHo3il7bzcr5M4c9a?dl=0 Thanks!
Sorry for my question but I can't find where to change rthe document size..when I import my puppets are always out of the document (white rectangle of the screen) and i don't know how to change it.thanksA.S.
Intro:Hi everyone, long time reader, first time poster here. First of all, I love the product and appreciate the hard work the developers and community are putting in to answering our questions. Thank you! Problem:Adding a dangle handle anywhere on the child of a puppet with magnetization turns off the magnet behavior.Reproduction Steps :The easiest way to reproduce this is to download the OkaySamurai magnet puppet example, then just add a "magnet" handle on the fish. Expected:Fish can be held by magnet, with the dangle behavior. Occurring:Adding the dangle handle disables the magnet. One can no longer pick up the fish. System Info:Operating System: MacOS 11.2.3 (Big Sur)Processor: Apple M1Character Animator version: v4.3 (Build 11) I have a feeling this isn't expected. If it is, would it be possible to document somewhere for posterity?
On a mac and unable to open my file. Have tried all solutions available online and nothing working. Likely to do with Character Animator not closing cleanly. Any help appreciated asap!!
Hey there,When I try to open my Character Animator project, I get the following Error message:libgit2 error -3(9/Object not found – no match for id (ff7429548d977fd5216cb30c4dbccf7045ba81f) returned from git_tag_lookup(&tag.p, repoP→mRawRepoP, &tagOid)I'm running Character Animator CC 2019 on Windows. Below I've attached a screenshot of the error message and of my Ch Data\repo.noindex folder.Any ideas on what this error message means? Or how I can fix it? I've been silly enough not to backup my project. I have exported the recordings I've done so far, but it would still be nice to recover the project to avoid needing to re-rig puppets for future recordings. I closed Character Animator cleanly the last time I used it - it did not crash. UPDATE:After searching through the forums, I thought I'd add some additional info. I have my project and all assets saved in my Creative Cloud folder, and syncing is on. I've just noticed that the Adobe Creative Cloud App is not showing that Cha
