Hello my name is Marc,i have a problem, in my office use adobe connect 8, and server hosted privatly in my office. I have many meetings with other offices and one day appear different problems.The first problem: one day i stay in a meeting with 10 people, and one moment all users disconnect and reconnect and when i reconnect all user appear double for example: "Marc" and "Marc2". I clean cookies and changed browser explorer and solution this problem but the other people don't find a solution.The second problem: other day i stay in a meeting with 8 people, and 2 o 3 people i'm not sure disconnect and reconnect and appear the same previous case. But in this meeting, the host rec's meeting and desynchronized video i don't find what's is the error.When the problems appear, i check the server's log and server don't detected anything, the brezze logs detected when the users disconnect and reconnect in a meeting, but the server don't detected error, no errors in applications, no errors in net
HiWhat's the best way to capture speech as text in live or recorded Adobe Connection sessions?We would like to have a transcript of the presentation. Is Adobe Connect compatible with Dragon speech recognition software - or is there a preferred Adobe product or method?We use PCs running Windows 7 Enterprise.thanks
HII was bumped off todays event by my own mistake and did not get to hear the answers to my questions. If someone can answer them here, it would be great!The speaker advised to use Q&A vs chat if you have a large audience. Please define in numbers a large audience. My webinars for elearning will be a host and an instructor. I am new to webinars.The speaker talked about resolution of the screen of the person sharing the screen. He also talked about teh resolution of the graphics inside your PPT. Please help me with guidelines on these 2 issues.Thanks!Susan

Hi, I'm trying to upload a captivate 7 file on my connect 9 server, but it fails. The server is reachable from my browser, and the server's name in captivate publish module is correct. (when I was working with cap6 everything was ok)I'm tying now to reinstall cp7 just to make an attempt. What can I do more? Thank's, Ugo (Italy)
Would like recommendations on best and cleanest way to convert an adobe 7.5.1 connect meeting recording to an MP4 file. The “offline” feature in 7.5.1 of recordings are not acceptable for offline viewing (very pixilated) plus the recorded timeline bar is very confusing for end-users. I am able to download the .flv files from the output folder from the server and see the audio.flv and content.flv. is there away to combine these to files (sync'd) into one file and output to mp4 or some other format. is there an adobe or 3rd party application that can be used?I have not been able to find an application that can edit adobe flv files (audio or movie). i am trying to find a simple and clean way to convert, would be nice to be able to batch convert.any ideas are greatly appreicated.thank you in advance.
I have a licensed Adobe Connect deployment using Named Organizers in a mixed environment where staff and students have user accounts. The issue is that when a Named Organizer adds registered users to a meeting room they are shown the email addresses of all registered users as a pick list. Even worse is that when the meeting invite is sent, all email addresses are sent in the 'To' field. This presents an issue in that student email addresses are protected information under federal and state laws.Are there any registry hacks or a work around that would mask the email addresses from the 'Available Users and Groups' selection window and place any invited participant's email addresses in the BCC field of the system generated invitation emails?As I understand the various privacy laws, using Adobe Connect in an education or Health care environment is illegal so long as the email addresses are visible.
We cannot access any of our Adobe Connect rooms in the UK. We just get a hanging blue bar saying 'connecting' regardless of location, browser, pc etc etc. Not even via iPad can we access them. This since at least 0850am UK time.Also we cannot access recorded sessions, but we can get into our general Adobe Connect dashboard. Cannot access any uploaded content in our Shared content . Once you click on the URL for it, it freezes / or shows no connection.Can anyone help? Trying to contact Adobe Connect Support is a hideous job.MattPS: It's interesting because I am currently writing a presentation I am doing for the Virtual Learning Show on Thursday, which is being run by the UK Learning & Performance Institute. I wonder what I will end up talking about....
This is an issue that has only been observed on two seperate meeting, but multiple times in each meeting, in different environments, and on different machines. And, there is no noticeable issues with the network.After about 2 hours (I think a little more in each case), the microphone fromt he host machine stops broadcasting. The microphone icon on the AdobeConnect interface is still green, but the icon is not radiating the lines that tell you that its broadcasting.On the remote end, the Host's mic icon is displayed in the Attendee List, but is not blinking. So, it looks more like a participant that has been given microphone rights but has yet to enable the microphone.The "fix" has been to mute the host's mic and then unmute it. But, since it seems to be only occurring in two meetings consistently, I'm wondeirng if its something in the meetings' settings.Thanks,
I have seen documentation on how to integrate with the LMS's that are partners with Adobe, but my LMS is not listed.We use Oracle/Taleo... how can I integrate the events we have in Connect with our LMS calendar to show users whichevents they have registered for?thanks

I am trying to determine if AdobeConnect collects details regarding an individaul attendee's attendance at an event. I'm interested in reporting on:Join TimeLeave TimeDuration (could be calculated with above)Everyting I've found seems to indicate only join time is captured, but this doesn't seem reasonable.I would also like to gather this info via API.

In the Adobe Connect Connection Test, I am getting a fail on step 2: Adobe Connect connection test: unable to connect.What is actually tested in this step? I have 2 macbooks on the same network, 1 can get in and is hosting a meeting, the other can not. Is there an error log to be looking at that might shed light on the issue?
For test purposes I have created a project in Captivate with 8 different question slides - one slide with each question type. I haven't modified the question slide elements or timeline.I have published the project to Adobe Connect as a course in shared training.The problem is that if the user closes down the quiz at question number 5 and then opens it again, the user can't answer question number 6 and sometimes question number 7 neither, the slides are completely inactive. If I create a project with 8 question slides with the SAME question type, the problem doesn't occur.Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?I have Captivate 6 and Adobe Connect 8.5.
How can I change the Adobe Connect logo in the upper left hand corner of the login page?
I had a few people in a meeting, everyone was able to see my shared document but one person could not see it. Then I used shared screen and open the document on my desktop, he saw it without any problem. His computer is Windows 7, Adobe Flash player is version 11. He had Adobe Connect add-in in his computer. There is no firewall and Internet connect was perfect. Does anyone can give me some suggestions? Thank you. P.S. I asked him to share a document with everyone. After he uploaded a document, everyone saw the document but him.
Hello,Are you planning on releasing the Linux add-in for adobe connect 9 anytime soon?. The 9 version has been released for a while now but there is no news about the Linux add-in, we have quite a few Linux users and they are already starting to complain about the poor support and we can't downgrade to adobe 8 since we own a hosted license.Would be a shame if we have to start looking for another solutions, we have been using adobe connect since the version 6.Greetings,Miguel
Sometimes I am immersed in my emails or a call and do not notice if a student is requesting entry. It would be nice to have a sound go off when someone request an entry.
When i attempt to download flash player it stops half way thru and says close internet explorer.How can i complete the download?
My colleague and I both have the default time zone set to (GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US and Canada)He has scheduled a meeting to start at 8:00 AM (he lives in the Eastern Time zone)I live in the Mountain Time Zone and the same meeting shows a start time of 7:00 AM -- when it should be 6:00 AM.How do we work around this? We have a meeting scheduled for Jan 26 in multiple time zones.
