I recently upgraded my computer from Vista to Windows 7, which also upgraded Internet Explorer from version 7 to 8.  Since that change I can no longer send meeting invitations.  When I click the "Send and Email Invitation" button, nothing happens.  I tried Firefox and it works fine.  How can I get this function to work with Internet Explorer?thanks.

I'm running on Mac 10.7.3 using the latest free trial of Adobe Connect.I'm experiencing very long audio delays (5 seconds or more) when in a meeting room. I've searched the forums and found this   Re: Long audio delay By jonturkle, posted Nov 20, 2008 by this doesn't seem to match my situation as I'm not in a hosted environment or behind any firewalls that would restrict ports. (Or at least I don't think anything like this should be going on)Video streams fine, so it doesn't seem to be a bandwidth problem, just a lag with audio.Has anyone got any ideas what might be causing this and how it can be fixed?ThanksJames

Can someone help me.  I used to be able to print great quality pdfs, and all of a sudden, the print quality is such low resolution that it is unreadable.  I tried reinstalling Adobe Professional and that didn't work.  Can someone tell me if there is a setting that I need to check/uncheck to get the print quality back?I appreciate all your help.Susan

This is really a few questions about accessing Connect from mobile devices.  Seems like fairly basic information but I am having a surprisingly hard time tracking it down...1. What versions of Adobe Connect can be accessed from mobile devices (and which mobile devices)?2. Is Adobe Connect Pro the same thing as Adobe Connect Mobile?3. Is there a way to create a grooming or retention policy for recordings on Adobe Connect?  Say we did not want recordings to be stored for more than 3 years or something like that.  I have poked around the administration area but so far I can't even seem to find a list of all recordings on the server, let alone way to manage them.Thanks,Mat

Has anyone heard what happened today around 1:15pm EDT when the entire Adobe Connect world crashed? We had about 1000 students online from around the world in day 1 of a 2 day an environmental education event. The cryptic support page showed every major server down while we scrambled to find an alternative solution for our program which included closed captioning, and speakers in Panama, Washington and Phoenix. Using email, twitter and facebook we rallied people into a competitive product but lost 2/3 of our audience. What a disaster....As usual, Adobe has yet to explain what happened, or even attempt to assure us that the issue is fixed and that we are safe to try again tomorrow. Does anyone know what happened? Does anyone feel safe enough to trust high-profile international events to these people? Your feedback is much appreciated.jw

I hope someone can help me. I teach a group of children in my Adobe connect room every day. At first, I was not using any password, rather just giving out the link to my students.Some mischievous child got the link, and began coming into my room often, and disrupting classes (anonymously, of course).I then began using a password. I made it an easy password, because I actually wanted him to come in again, so I could see in the records what his email address was. However, he came in using the email address of one of my students! I am having everyone change their passwords, which will probably solve the problem.But I would really like to get his IP address, or somehow figure out who is doing this.Any ideas? I have made a recording available offline, but when I doubke-click the flv file to play it back in Windows 7, I can hear the audio, but the screen content is blacked out. Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong? I am working with the current trial version if that makes a difference.

I received a notification that our meeting rooms will have a patch applied to them this weekend, but I've been unable to find any documentation about this patch. Does anyone know what issues will be addressed in this patch?We're currently running 8.2.0.0 with Add-in 9.4.81.0.Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

How can we create virtual classroom, webinar etc using "Adobe's Connect Pro Individual hosted" account purchased ?I have purchased this account in  Dec 2010 and I was able to create online virtual classroom,webinar,seminars etc but recentlt it was observed that all these options have been removed\disbaled from my account.How can I create virtual classrooms and webinars using ACP with my account now?Also what is exact difference in functionality of online meeting , virtual classroom and Seminars?I have gone though documents available but the decription is not very sufficient.Also support option for my login\account is not working.Is is that we have to pruchase support plan now and it won't allow me to create tickets like I did earlier for my issues?Number given for support also is not working.Waiting for faster reply .

Hi,I used to be able to open all my Connect meetings in a pop-up window (in fact this opened automatically), I was on XP.I just switched to Win7 (don't know if this is relevant) and now every time I open a meeting it opens within the browser window (In Firefox or IE).The pop-up was much more useful to me, does anyone know if/how I can force my Connect meetings to open that way?Thanks!

We are using the Adobe Connect Host service and payment is by credit card.Before, we did not receive any payment problem e-mail from Adobe.Today, suddently, when we want to login and start up a meeting, it shows "Your Account Has Expired"!!!We cannot login back to the management page to check payment issue.When I want to call the Adobe Support, there is no phone number provided for Hong Kong!What can I do????Our management need host meeting now!I have open case but the response semes take a lot time!!!Can anyone help???Ivan

Hi,I wonder if it's possible to save an edit without the originial being changed. Ie. I would either like to duplicate the recording and edit the second one or after I edit, do a save as...and save it as a second recording. Is that possible?

Hi,I have couple of questions regarding viewing and customizing the recording.#1. It is possible to disable sharing of documents in the recording? Right now it allows who ever is viewing the recording to download files when the "File Download" pod is open.#2. The Events Index (the little arrow on the left of the screen) hovers over the existing presentation. Is there a way to dock it to the recording? So that its always available and the rest of the screen shifts to the right so that the events inder is not covering any of the existing pods? or is it possible to change the location of the arrow. i.e., instead of on the left, have it on the right?Thanks for any input.

I know that you can apply a custom template to a meeting room when it is created...but, what if the rooms are already created. Is there an easy way to go back and apply a custom template that has already been saved in the Shared Templates folder? Going back and recreating all the rooms with the titles and descriptions would be a pain.Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm a bit new to this game. I'd like to set up a test site so future participants can test their connection with audio and all. Is my only option for this to leave a meeting open constantly on my computer or designate one for this? I usually run meetings from my laptop and that's not really possible. How would i set up a meeting and leave it running for a few weeks? Also, any pointers on how to loop music through this? Thanks!

Ok, this may be a very a simple and easy question...  I would just like to know what would be others workflow or process per my given situation. We are creating a virtual classroom and building several swf animations to support the content for the classroom. Our swf files are no more than 80kb. When we do share my screen to show the files the playback of these animations are choppy, extremely pixelated and not playing back real time. (Starting to gather that is a bandwidth issue even though we do have our setting set up for the highest bandwidth during our rehearsals.) Another option we have played with is uploading our files to the adobe connect server and creating a link. This still seems a little choppy, a slightly better quality but still not the quality of the original animation. Plus, we are not to keen on having to pull up a browser window throughout the presentation/ classroom to show our animations. My question is what would be your best workflow or process to present the

I'm perplexed... I shared a PDF document and made some annotations on it (using the Drawing tools), which showed up fine on the participants' computers. Then I selected all of the annotations and used the "eraser" button to delete all of them, which worked fine on my computer, but didn't erase them on the participants' computers! I then stopped the share,started a document share again, chose that document from the Share History and, when it appeared, it still had the annotations on it (but, again, just on the participants' computers, not on mine)!So, what's going on here? What am I doing wrong? How can I erase an annotation in a way that also erases it for the participants?TIA for any help!Laura
