I have installed Permiere Pro Version 24.1.0. However, the old version - Version 22.6.2 - does not appear amongst my list of installed apps in Creative Cloud so I am unable to uninstall the old version in the normal way (by clicking on the 3 dots and clicking 'uninstall'). In my Applications folder, I can see the old version of Premiere under a folder 'Premiere Pro 2022'. Whilst all my other Adobe app folders contain an 'uninstall' icon in them, this one does not. I would be grateful for any advice as to how to uninstall this old version. I am running on a iMac, M1 chip, running OS 13.2.1. Thanks
Stop putting files in my Documents folder. The path you are looking for is "Library/Application Support/Adobe" The Documents folder is for my documents. This is not a good place for your tempo files and configuration files.
Are they getting rid of creative cloud for the student plan and if so will I need to save all my files to my laptop or a hard drive?
I would like to say this creative cloud desktop "experience" has reduced my workflow efficiency and has cause tremendous unnecessary frustration.I had primarily used it as an app launcher. I would like to see an option to select a minimal view or launcher view of the Creative cloud desktop "experience".I use the Creative Cloud desktop app to launch applications such as Photoshop or Illustrator, and would like a way to quickly access these shortcuts without launching the full experience with the app catalog, CC library manager, update manager, etc..., and without having to clutter my dock with apps that are used less.
Adobe makes it absolutely impossible to uninstall apps. I haven't used Creative Cloud for 4 years on my computer and I still have to open it to uninstall any of my Adobe apps. Even worse, when I'm trying to uninstall them, Adobe forces me to update Creative Cloud even though I'm about to delete it (although 'about' is a very loose term, considering Adobe products take forever to update). I shouldn't be forced to open an app if I'm deleting it, and if I want to delete Creative Cloud, I should be able to delete all of the other Adobe apps with it. Why is it this difficult? This level of impossibile navigability shouldn't be allowed when making an app.
I am using Creative Cloud with Windows 10 on a desktop PC. There are many Adobe-related apps that start when the computer starts up. I would like to turn off those that are unneeded in order to speed up start up and to preserve memory and processing capacity. I only use Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Stock files; no other Adobe programs. Which of these can I turn off--the Windows Startup setup meu--without causing problems:Adobe Collaboration SynchonizerAdobe GC Invoker UtilityAdobe Updater Startup UtilityCCXProcess.exeCreative CloudCreative Cloud Content Manager
Windows 11 Pro, Creative Cloud. Photoshop 25.2.0Yesterday, CC said there was a Photoshop update. I tried to do the update but Photoshop was running and it complained. I shut DOWN Photoshop, but it STILL wouldn't do the update, and after a few tries, I accidentally hit the "Update Later" button.I'm not sure how much "later" is in Creative Cloud's world, but it's been overnight and it STILL says it's waiting to update.HOW do I turn this OFF so I can MAKE it update NOW?
I've unticked automatic updates, sync in background, and launch at startup but Adobe still insists on automatically running services and tasks. If I manually disable their services from running automatically through Windows they just switch right back after I update CC or any Adobe app. I don't want, nor is it necessary, for anything Adobe running in the background when I'm not using their apps. Support gave me some BS that these services need to run everytime I boot up my machine. Not only is that insulting, it's invasive. Hoping this at least spreads awareness if my voice isn't enough.
As far as I k now, there is no user voice page for the client, hence I put this here. With the current version 6.0.0.571, following things are either version specifically wrong or in general:There is no switch to turn off synchronization. The synch will always automatically start when starting the client, so you must stop it. The synch would even start if there is nothing to synch. The About window is blurry (see below)When wanting to have two versions of the same app installed and installing a newer after an older, CC would still call it an update, though it isn't one.In the install process of the newer, the checkmark for "Uninstall older version" is automatically checked. Very unpleasent should you overlook it.Under "Your libraries" it lists a few libs I never created. When deleting the first one, the next is called "Your library" and then the next one, too. So I had three libs called "Your library"?When deleting the last library, it occasionally comes up with a screen "Oops, somethin
What's the best practice... delete the older versions after updating or keep for some reason?
I can’t add fonts, it gives an error (an error occurred while loading the font) the manipulations in the article https://helpx.adobe.com/ru/fonts/kb/font-activation-errors.html were performed, everything is useless!
We've all heard by now that Adobe will not sync desktop and cloud files after February 2024.Currently, I manage my work files in my Adobe CC synched folder and that folder gets backed up to a corporate server periodically (as well as to the Adobe Cloud). If after Feb 2024 my work files will only reside on the Adobe cloud... how do I backup those files to my own, corporate, backup server? Manual dowloads to my local drive for every file or set of files I work on seems so 1999... What does Adobe propose as a solution in this case? Thanks. A.C.
I'm on macOS Monterey. I do not sync any of my files with Adobe cloud. For the past few months when I startup my Mac Studio I have a notification from Creative Cloud that says "File syncing error" (see attached screenshot). Why do I get this when I'm not sending any file to the cloud?
This is the second time that this has happened. the customer rep the first time said this was a "fluke". My last name only has two letters, but when I add an extra letter it solves the issue. Can we get this fixed? Not sure if this is the right place to be posting this but I've tried contacting customer service and they take a while to get back.
How can Creative Cloud Files appear to be the Cloud Storage in macOS Finder?Other cloud services seem to show as Cloud Storage but not Creative Cloud Files folder. For the record, I have also set the CC folder to sit in Users/me/Library/CloudStorage
Other cloud storage, i.e. Google Drive, Dropbox, etc, are automatically recognized as Cloud Storage in the Finder Sidebar, but not CC Sync Folder. Suggest that to have CC Sync Folder also have the same.
Feature to choose which files should be downloaded and which should be kept on the Cloud rather than the entire gamut of files being downloaded to local drive.Online, 1000s of people have asked for this feature, every collegue I work with in the industry complains about this not being in place - we're still awaiting the HUGE need for this feature to be met. What is the point of having cloud storage if you cannot choose to keep things on the cloud. OneDrive, Dropbox and many others allow selective file synchronisation - because you don't need to sync all files all the time and we need to keep harddrives light, save bandwidth and save the planet.Furthermore Adobe, your CC software often bugs out (quite often after an update) and then wants to re-synchronise the entire freaking load of files! This has happened to me probably 10 times now - sometimes I've ended up with two Creative Cloud folders alongside each other - what a bloody waste of time, energy, blah blah blah. You'd think Adobe w
Ive been using adobe creative cloud since 2014 and this is a long standing issue. When moving video files to creative cloud, they will often show up as 'octet' and be unusable for syncing or downloading. Recently I tried to upload a small AE project (4.4) GB that has numerous short .mov files. probably 70% of them showed up as octet. They were all shot the same way, at the same time, and with the same format. I sent the project via my Icloud account and had no problems. The 'octet' issue has been an on going issue for years and is unique to the creative coloud service. It has gotten so bad that my self and other professionals in my network use any other service to transfer files and sync projects. Please fix this years long bug.
This happens just often enough to be slightly annoying. When Adobe renames apps (adding the current/next year to the app name) it results in broken links in the task bar (Win) and dock (Mac, not shown). Please consider naming apps with a single, canonical name, and let users visit the app's "about" menu to determine what version they are on. "Adobe InDesign" would be an excellent name for the app, no matter what year I am using it in. Thanks for considering!
A day ago I paid money for a photoshop product and that day after the payment everything worked correctly, today I open it again and I see that when I open photoshop it tells me that I have to buy it again. I bought a yearly subscription for photoshop, how is this possible?
So the apps aren't going to the hard drive i have designated to it. For some reason or another they keep going to the hard drive that is full. I've changed the designation to the empty hard drive and try to download yet it keeps telling me it's full. i have 4tb of space left in the hard drive so i know it's something wrong with the app. how can i fix this issue?
When I open Creative Cloud, it shows a popup: Creative Cloud update available. I can turn off the toggle 'Always keep Creative Cloud up to date', but there is only one option to continue to the app, labeled: [Update]. So it seems to be missing a [Cancel] or [Close] button. While this popup is in view, the menu is inaccessible, I also can not quit CC from here, besides going into task manager and kill the processes until they stop auto-restarting.I have a limited data plan at home and can't be wasting the data on this many updates. At the same time I am a paying customer and I should have the right to access the software I paid for, not having it locked behind an update screen. This is behaving like malware! On Windows 10
How come there isn't a button or a function that allows you to close all background tasks of Creative cloud and other Adobe programs?Every single time I have to go and press end task in the Task-Manager about 20 times, since there are about 10-15 tasks running and some jsut reopen after closing them if you're not fast enough while closing everything else...That's jsut annoying yet it could be such a simple feauture...
Adobe, I love ya, but you're acting like my crazy ex right now. I've been using Generative Fill and all the lovely AI tools for months in beta and now in the main apps. So I really don't need you to be sending me push notifications and popups every five minutes telling me to 'try it'. Can your notification system get a bit smarter? Recognise the users who've already taken the plunge with new features and spare us the repeat invites? Or at least give us an Ignore All button. For the sake of my sanity, please!
Hello. In CC desktop, I have to be very deliberate and slow when clicking the left mouse button to launch my Adobe apps, otherwise the clicks will sometimes not register. The longer I hold the mouse button down, the more reliable the clicks seem to be. The quick release clicks are the ones it seems to miss most often. I often have to click things 2 or 3 times before CC desktop actually takes action. I don’t think it’s a system-wide problem or a mouse problem, because I haven’t noticed this behavior in any other applications. I’m running Windows 10. As a former software engineer, I’m wondering if some kind of periodic input polling is being used, rather than responding to queued mouse click events. I’m not certain, but I believe I’ve seen similar behavior on the launcher pages of the various Adobe apps. I’ve never seen it in the main functionality of the apps. Clicking behavior for actual workflow seems fine. It’s just in the CC desktop, and the launch
