Digital Editions

I installed ADE on an Ipad.  It was working fine for awhile.  Then suddenly, whenever i try to open a book, it simply returns me to the home screen.  I have uninstalled and re-installed several times.  This did not help.  Whenever I re-install and refresh it picks up every book I've ever loaded there even though I deleted all but one of them.  Can anyone tell me how to get ADE to open my books?

I have an existing account but haven't signed in for many years. I'm trying to authorize my device so that I can read some old content but when I sign in to try and authorize my computer I receive the following error:Any suggestions? I no longer have the computer or the original device I used when I authorized the account initially.

Hello everyone, I hope someone can help me. When I try to put a book from Adobe Digital Edition on my ereader I get a message: copy not allowed. I read somewhere that I need to authorize my laptop but I'm afraid I don't understand what that means. Does anyone know how to solve this? Thanks! 

Hello I get the messegae that I have too many activations, while I m trying to authorize my adobe digital edition, I need to reset the activation count.I contact the live support but they weren't capable of helping so I got a link to post here my problem, I hope that I get a reset soon so I can read ebooks on my vacations, thanks in advance

So, I recently logged back into my work laptop to try to load up a paper, and suddenly digital editions has broken itself. When I try to launch it, I see the icon on the taskbar, I see it in task manager, but the window doesnt show up. 

Hi,I am trying to print a DRM protected document. The printout is cut off on the lower part of the page, approximately 4-5 cm is missing. Hello again. My name is Andrew and I am the IT person for the Midland Public LibraryEarlier today there was a couple in the Library that was having problems getting library E-books on there E-reader. After helping them to finish the installation of Adobe Digital Editions and signing them up for an Adobe ID we manager to get ADE to start and to authorize but it was not able to recognize there e-Reader. I believe they have a Sony PRS-650 and they are using a Mac laptop. I have read else where that Sony PRS-650 are not yet supposed for ADE on Mac. I was wondering if this is the case? If so does ADE have an ETA of when that will be fixed?  If not can you suggest anything to get the device to be recognized? The device is showing up on there desktop as Mac's do but not in ADE. Hi.I'm trying to read an ebook that I downloaded on the Digital Editions app on my iPhone. I have done it before and the ACSM files have worked normally. Now for some reason when I try to open the downloaded ACSM file it throws me out of the app completely. I have tried re-installing the app and it didn't work. Also, for some reason, I can't delete the file from the app. Is the problem in the file itself or is there something else I could try?

My PC detects Kobo Libra H20, but ADE doesn't. I have tried re-installing ADE, but with same result.Also, there is no "Device" showing in top menu, very frustrating, and Adobs' Help Desk won't give any support for this product, why I do not know.

Hello,I bought a series of manga and when I try to read them, it misses half of the page, the half displayed is in large in Adobe Digital Edition,I am on Windows with ADE version 3.0

HiI have downloaded the latest digital editions onto my new Lenovo laptop with AMD A6 processor but the bookshelves are not showing, and when I download an e book from my library everything grays out and can't transfer it my Kobo HELP!!!many thanks BOb

Hi,  I needed to Adobe Digital Editions to download a document however I needed to be able to view on any device which required to register to adobe and then download the application which i have done. The document has downloaded and is viewable on a laptop however when i want to view it on another laptop of Iphone by signing into adobe, I cannot view the document in my Library. Please can you help on how i can get this document accessible to all devices by logging into to Adobe ASAP.  Thanks. 

Adobe Digital Editions on iOS crashes every time I try to open a new book in the app, although a book previously read in the app can still be opened. Can it be because I am using two devices? The ADE FAQ on one hand says: "If two devices are activated with the same ID, purchased books can be opened on the other device." But on the other hand it says: "If the permission limits the books to be viewed on only one device, the copied books will not be able to be opened." The strange thing is: I know for sure that one book can be opened on both devices, whereas other books in the same series and from the same origin cannot. What happens in the app if the permission limits a book to be viewed on only one device? Does the app tell that the book cannot be opened? Or does the app crash?

I purchased a ebook and I have to download it using adobe and I have not been able to download it because of a code E error. It says activation server error bad device key. I have tried the cmd, shift, D and that has not worked either im not sure what to do. 

Hallo, seid dem Update am 01.07.2020 auf die Version 4.5.11.1 stürzt die App beim Anklicken eines Buches ab. Das löschen und neu laden der Bücher hat auch nichts gebracht. Was könnte man unternehmen um auf meinem IPad und meinem IPhone die alte Version 4.5.11 zu bekommen?

me descargo adobe digital editions en cualquier versión, 3.0.1. ó 4.5.11 y cuando quiero abrir el programa me sale el siguiene mensaje: "Adobe digital editions dejó de funcionar. Windows está buscando una solución al problema." Pero luego no encuentra ninguna solución. He probado a desactivar el firewall del antivisus pero tamboco.¿Qué puedo hacer?

I am using Macbook Air and not able to load books to Adobe Digital editions. I should deauthorize my computer but I am not able to do it. Tried many times already. I see many have the same proble but no one has the solution. Can this be true?

Getting E_ADEPT_INTERNAL error on all Digital Editions content already purchased and unable to add new content. Compute is authorized to my Adobe Account. Tried reinstalling DE. Did not fix the problem. Tried to Erase Authorization (and re-authorize), but get "Unable to Erase Authorization. Try again later." Trying later gives same message. Any suggestions?

And now ADE will not allow me to activate or deactivate.  I have a number of books on the ADE that were from special author sales, so not sure if they would survive if I had to delete and re-install.  Is there any way to rescue my version without having to do that?  (Windows 7 machine, ADE Version 4.5.11.187303.

During the ADE process, I was assured that once I had an ebook, I could read it on ALL my devices.  It will open on the desktop.  It is in the library on my ipad, but it won't open.

Hi! I've been using Adobe Digital Reading for years and since yesterday, when I'm trying to download a book and transfert it to my Kobo, there is always the same error saying that my tablet isn't autorized to open the book. So I've tried to redo the autorizing thing like suggested on the FAQ and by the person I spoke with on the chat, withtout success.. I even tried with a new account, to reinstall Digital Editions, but it seems like I can't transfert any book anymore, and I don't know why.
