Digital Editions

I changed my email address and have no longer access to my old email address. I used the old email address to authorize the computer. I cannot de-authorize the old account because I have no longer access to that account. How can I link digital editions to my new email account without de-authorizing the old one?

Hi,I just put ADE 4.5 on a Win 10 Surface Book pro. With Keyboard attached the arrow down/next page function does not work just like folks were complaining about in 2008.  Digital Editions 1.5 arrow keysAre there any suggestions?MB

Después de instalar Adobe Digital Edition 4.5 intenté autorizar el equipo sin poner el proveedor y con una contraseña erronea. Cuando he intentado volverlo a autorizar me pone "Id o contraseña incorrectos para proveedor seleccionado. Reintentelo". Lo he intentado varias veces con la cuenta de Adobe y no me ha dejado y con la cuenta de Google tampoco me ha dejado. ¿Cómo lo puedo solucionar? Gracias por anticipado. Saludos.

I have found that for many ebooks the type size in Digital Editons will not change. The methods given by Adobe to change it do not work.I know this is an ancient problem. Complaints about it go back at least 11 years, suggesting that it is a software deficiency Adobe is not going to address.Anyone know any tricks to get around it? Hi,  I am unable to Erase Authorization that is associated with an old email address that I no longer have access to. I have tried the old password associated with that old email address and my current password with my account.  I keep getting an error message "Unable to erase authorization.  Please try after some time."  I have uninstalled the Adobe Digital Editions and reinstalled it".  Still have the same problem.  Means I can't download anything from the library into Adobe so not able to use my e-reader. I see there have been other posts with this same issue and their question has been unanswered.  I would appreciate a response to help me with this issue.Thanks,

Bonjour, J'ai téléchargé Adobe Digital Edition pour pouvoir lire un ebook et il se trouve que mon livre est illisible.Les lettres se sont mélangées qu'on n'arrive pa à distinguer aucun mot.Le livre est en .ACSMCi-joint l'affichage du livre. Pouvez-vous m'indiquer la procédure à suivre pour résoudre le problème?Merci 

Over a week - not that computer literate but been on a forum and being helped so much but not getting anywhere.1. Have made sure all Windows 10 - up todate  (Grasping at straws in case something was clogging up system)2. Have deleted all books on files?3. Checked 'Choose Default Apps by File type' - all OK for ADE4. Deleted ADE and restarted laptop - with fingers crossed.5. Went to Library downloaded book and up comes this screen for ADE basically wanting to download program again!Gone are the days when I could just choose my book, download - see ADE open with book downloaded across - plug in KOBO - move across - happy days!Thanking you in anticipation that someone else has had this frustrating time consuming problem and can help me.P.S. I am unable to transfer a library ebook (epub, acsm) to my ereader (Nook). ADE keeps freezing. It has worked in the past, but now it freezes with every attempt. At first, it only froze when I actually tried to transfer the book. Now, however, it's freezing even when I try to open the book with in ADE. I've tried restarting my computer, uninstalling/reinstalling, and deactivating/reactivating my authorization multiple times. Please help!

Dear Support, I have purchased the HPE0-S56 Ebook, but when i am opening the book in adobe digital its asking usrname and password,so i entered my hpe credentials but its showing wrong, so i created new account in adobe after when i use that account so it says  says not sync. My question is how to Sync HPE E books with Adobe digital Your prompt reply will be highly appreciated

Hi Community, I have installed the Adobe Digital Editions program but I keep receiving the Unable to Download and E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED error. I have updated the time zone to automatic but I am still receiving the same error. I also tried removing the .acsm file, erasing the authorization, etc... Has anyone else come across this and resolved this issue? Please advise. 

I have the latest Digital Editions version on Windows 7. When I download a checked-out book from axis360, the book opens just fine on my PC, but when the file is transferred to my Nook Simple Touch, I get a "Loan token not found" error, and the book will not open. I've downloaded from axis360 via Chrome, IE, and Firefox to see if the browser made a difference, but no such luck. I uninstalled and reinstalled ADE, but still no luck. I used to have no problems transferring epubs files, but over the past year and a half, I've had nothing but headaches. Help?!

Hi, we use ADE on MACs and PCs to read Adobe Content Server encrypted (acsm) books. We would like to use ADE on Android and iOS devices. The application can be installed from Google Play, and properly authorized, but it seems like an API may be required to download directly to the  ADE application on the Android/iOS device. Does anyone know if there is an API available for ADE? Or if and API is not required, how do we get ADE to work on android/iOS devices?

I had to download Adobe Digital Editions to download a book. I used the bookmark and Xed out of the book. When I opened the book again the bookmark didn't work. After uploading, the book opened to the first page.  Is there a way to fix this?

Hi, I need help with Adobe Digital Editions. I understand that the acsm file isn't the ebook and that it produces a pdf version of the book. And yet, when I open the pdf file, it just produces 200 blank pages using Preview in Apple. How can I read these books in PDF format as Adobe digital Editions doesn't let me zoom in and out of the books. All the features are greyed out. It is hard to read the book in tiny print.

I had Adobe Digital Editions in its earlier form, so I could read books during my thesis writing and obtaining my Master's degree.  I took a three-year break and am now wanting to use ADE again during my PhD work.  So, as I was checking out e-books from the university library, I had no trouble downloading them into my earlier version of ADE. I was then encouraged to update to 4.5.2, which I did with no issues, and was still reading my PhD library resources.  Until I tried to add another newly borrrowed university library book to the ADE library today, and it kept telling me there was an error, remaining unopenable. I started to look into the issue through the ADE help forum within the Adobe website and since I kept getting this error message, I was encouraged de-authorize my ADE and then re-authorize it, which I did and after multiple attempts, even deleting the application and re-downloading it, trying to change my password to no avail (can't even do that without a lot

Just upgraded to Windows 10 and reinstalled ADE and think it is authorized. When I try to download a library book to ADE, I get a message "Unable to download. Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER"
