When I attempt to authorize my Adobe ID on Adobe Digital Editions 4.5, I receive this error: E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12.I followed the advice on a different forum about going to the keychain access on my MAC, but there is not an option for me to allow access to all applications. It looks like this

Since Win 10 update KB4476976, the up/down arrows no longer work properly in e-books to change pages in v4.5.10.If I go back to Library and open the manual, Getting Started with Adobe Digital Editions 4.5, then the down arrow works to turn just one page and quits.If I close ADE and then reopen it, in the ACE manual the arrow keys now all work fine.If I open an e-book the arrow keys don't work at all.   If I close ADE and reopen the e-book the arrow keys still don't work.

Hi,After authorizing my device with my Adobe ID, I try to download the ebook but I receive a message saying "E_LYC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER".I am double-cheking who this user is and it is me. How can I solve this?Adobe support referred me to here, just in case anyone suggests me to talk to them.Thanks!

I have upgraded my phone that had the additions on. I have the app on but no books. How do I retrieve them?

I renewed my subscription with a new credit card but since doing so it's not allowing my to access the Adobe Programs I need. How long does this typically take? Do I need to do anything?

I have forgotten the password for my Adobe ID account and the "registered" email address linked with the account is no longer valid. As per the instructions on the web page I have contacted Adobe Support who have directed my to this forum.The first issue raised by the "support person" was that I have not any premium (paid/planned) products. The second issue was that they cannot change my email address to a new address although he could add a phone number to the account. The third bit of advice was to direct me here to the experts where it doesn't appear that this problem has ever been solved.Given the information posted on the website under the discussion title and the need for someone from Adobe to actually assist me, I am very perplexed as to how I am supposed to resolve this issue. Hi all,I have purchased an ebook awhile ago and used my old PC to download and read it. I didn't authorize a particular account but the PC. I have the pdf file on the SSD of the old PC, but when I add it to the ADE library of the new PC, I get an error "Document is licensed for another user account". I can't load ACSM files into Digital Editions.  (see errors below).I repeated the following steps to resolve the issue three times.NOTE:  A 2nd computer is running Digital Editions without an issue.I performed the best clean uninstall of the existing Digital Editions software.Rebooted the windows 10 computer (Surface Book which was working previously.Downloaded from Adobe the latest version of Digital Editions.Installed Digital EditionsI was not asked to 'Activate" digital editionsWhen I try to load an ACSM file into  DE I get errors (see below)NOTE: Valid ACSM file that works with my 2nd computerError! Check ActivationWhen I try to erase the DI activation, I get the 'Activation Server error".NO thanks to Adobe ==> I hacked the registry to remove the existing info. I have been trying to open a book I purchased forever and it is not working. In addition, it is impossible to speak to anyone and get help from Adobe, nor is it possible to get help through chat. The product is Adobe digital editions 4.5. I bought a book it said I needed to download and install it to my Mac, I did. When I try to open the download I can't. I can see it in my apps on the Mac but can't click on digital editions to choose it to read the ebook so I can't read the ebook. This is extremely frustrating. I need assistance.

Recently I had a computer crash (MacBookAir) and had to replace it (MacBookPro) and did a restore from the Time Machine.  Since then I cannot borrow books from the public library; I get the following error message: E_ACT_NOT_READY. Any suggestion how to fix this?

Hello. I recently downloaded an ebook, which required me to sign up for an Adobe ID and download Digitial Editions (DE) in order to access it. After downloading DE and attempting to open the ebook,the message "Error! Check Authorization" appeared. I then went to the Help tab, and then the Erase Authorization tab, when I realised I had downloaded DE on my PC several years ago whilst at university, to access some textbooks, using a university email as the Adobe ID/login. I am however unable to deauthorize my PC from this old university email/ID as it requires a password to do so, which I do not remember. I cannot request a reset password because the university email is defunct and not accessible. There seems to be no way for me to "sign out" of the old university account/ID, therefore making DE (and using it to read ebooks) defunct on my PC. I downloaded a book back in 2015 on a computer that I no longer have.  I do not believe I selected to authorize the computer, not realizing at the time that I would need to authorize the computer to be able to download the book onto other devices (my fault, I know).  Jump to 2019, I have a new computer, and I cannot download the book because of my error; it pops up with "E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER" - that other user was my old computer.  I purchased the book through Books-A-Million, so it's still in my library, but I can only open it with Adobe Digital Editions.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!

I assume the book I downloaded should be searchable, but digital editions does not search within the book, not very helpful for a text book, all of my other books are searchable, any advice, the book shows as a PDF but can only be read in digital editions DRMMike

When I open a pdf in Adobe Acrobat DC a message box opens "Content Preparation Progress.".  I do not need each pdf to go through a scan when it is opened.  How do I turn this off.

I work as IT Support in a chemical company, one person asked for help because his installed Digital Editions wasn't working properly.Once he opens Digital Editions with shows just a blank windows, and if I open any of the menus it crashs. I tried to update to the latest available version, didn't work. The only thing that worked was when I ran Digital Editions as my user (that has administration privileges), that way it works fine.

So frustrated!Download books from ebookcentral and dawsonera as part of my university masters on my macbook and no problem, as digital editions on macbook isn't associated with an adobe ID. Download books to my ipad (or kindlefire) and none of them open! Digital editions insists I enter an adobe ID and all the ones i try are wrong! It says I downloaded the books using a different ID, but I have no idea which ID it means. How can I either 1 - find out what ID books are downloaded with (I log on through my institution, and I have tried those login details in digital editions and they dont work), or 2 - disconnect digital editions on ipad from an ID and still open books?? I contacted adobe help and they just told me to post on here. Please can someone help

I was having trouble opening a downloaded ebook that I purchased, and had to de-authorized my device, then re-authorize.  I successfully de-authorized by following instructions from a previous forum post. Now I am getting the following error message when I try to open the ebook and re-authorize: Activation Server error - Code E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIREDDigital Editions encouter an error on the activation server.  Please help!

Version 4.5 of Adobe has been installed on my laptop.  When I click to copy the book from the library and I drag it to the Kobo icon it shows an error and says that I cannot copy the book to Kobo.  When I try to authorize it says the vendor account you entered is not associated with a vendor that you are trying to open.

Hello,I have two different Adobe accounts. I have attempted to use both logins to register Digital Editions to my computer and reload my book. It would not allow me to load the book because it says the book is linked to another account. I do not have another account. My computer was recently wiped clean and I had to reinstall everything including this program to regain access to my book and now it is not working. I need my book located and access granted. 1. I need access to my book2. I need to merge the accounts if possible.

My kobo keeps telling me that i'm not authorized to open the ebook. I believe I may have downloaded it under a different Adobe ID. I've now deleted that ID. I contacted reauthorized my computer, tried using both old and new Adobe IDs, redownloaded ADE. I'm using a Mac.
