Hello, I have a big problem with my reader : I download books I borrowed on digital libraries. But ADE crashed when I plugged my reader to transfer the files. As soon as I unplugged my reader, the software works again.Some months ago, it was working and now it's impossible : the same with two diferents readers, and I tried with different computers, differents cables ... Our readers are on date, and ADE too.I have a Pocketbook Touch Lux 2. Pocketbook support says it must be the fault of ADE.Someone had a similar problem ?Thank you very muchSophie

I loaned a book for 2 weeks from my university portal - a book to which I had unlimited access - but in having to renew the loan on the book I lost all of my annotations except from in ANNOT file document form.Is there a way to convert this back onto the Digital Editions book without manually having to re-apply all annotations?

HiI have changed my computer. I downloaded again ADE on my new computer; however when I tried to authorize my computer, I cannot. the message telling me that this address is already used for another computer appears. same thing with my ebook. I cannot transfer new book on my ebook.I don't know what happen and how to solve the problem. anyone has an answer?thanks for the helpsc

Hi I have single cell tables, which have a large amount of text. Hence the table cell text should flow to the next page. After checking outputs in digital editions, I found out that the table-cell data is shown only on the first page. After that, the whole text is missing, which was supposed to flow to next page. So cell-text over-flowing to next page is not supported?

When I try to activate my Tolino Ereader I get the error message: E_ADEPT_ACCOUNTING_CONNECTION_EXCEPTIONWhat does this error message mean and how can I solve it?

Hi anyone,going slightly mad this pm trying to get my lovely Nook to connect to the new KOBO platform ... they've taken over the Nook library.  I can seeall my books on the mac (yosemite) and kobo instructions are to get Adobe ID .. tick.  Then to download ADE ... tick.  Then the problems start ...Install Adobe Digital Editions.2. Launch Adobe Digital Editions.  3. From the Help menu, click Authorize Computer.4. If you don't already have an Adobe ID, click the Get an Adobe ID online link.5. Adobe will launch your web browser and take you to the Adobe Sign In page to create an Adobe account.6. When you're done, return to Adobe Digital Editions.7. Enter your Adobe ID and password.8. Click Authorize.9. Click Finished when Adobe finishes authorizing your computer.10. Connect your eReader to your computer and tap Connect.11. In ADE, click the gear icon beside Devices. Click Authorize Device.12. Select the account that you'd like to authorize your eReader with. Click Auth

I've downloaded ebooks to Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) on my computer and have downloaded the application on my phone.  However, the ebooks from my computer won't upload to my phone application. Does anyone know how to upload your ebooks to your phone?

I need to reset activations in Adobe account on my eBook, when i login to Adobe (via Vendor ID) I use account from another app.When i enter email and password from another app I must automatically login in Adobe via Vendor ID. But now i can not to login to Adobe. Appears the message "To many activations"

Hi Leute,habe gestern Digital Editons 4.5.2.151207 installiert und wollte nun meine Bücher vom tolino vision 2 auf den Computer übertragen. Seltsamerweise werden nur 2 Bücher in der Bibliothek angezeigt, alle anderen tauchen nicht auf, auch nicht im Explorer. Was ist denn da los? Brauche ich noch irgendwelche zusätzliche Software oder ein Update oder funktioniert das Ganze unter Windows 10 einfach nicht?Bin dankbar für jede Hilfe

I am trying to download an e-book I purchased from Takealot onto my Android tablet (Proline). I have to download the e-book via the takealot reader. I have installed the latest version of adobe digital editions on my tablet and my adobe account has been verified. However, when I try to download the e-book, the takealot reader asks for adobe authorization. When I insert my account name and password which has been verified, the message states that my details cannot not be authorized by the device?Warm regardsElize

I bought a few books and read them on digital editions 3.0. I changed my laptop and installed digital edition 4.5.2.. The library did not contain my purchased book.Do I need to install digital editions 3.0?

I've used adobe digital editions 4.5 for about 1-2 months before it crashed following the downloading of an ebook through a trusted source. Since then, I removed the program multiple times, reinstalled it, in vain. I've cleaned my computer, checked for virus, but found absolutely nothing. I am no longer able to use the program to read ebook. I do not know what to do next. I even created a new user profile on my computer and it worked but only for 1 hour before it crashed again. I've tried this about 4 times, and got the same result every time. I now have no mean to read ebook, which is very unfortunate as it was a wonderful program. When I run a troubleshooting program on it, it says that ADE is incompatible with my computer...it wasn't before though, 1-2 months ago. Do you have any idea of what the problem may be? Thank you!

I have downloaded new new pdf/ ebooks that I brought onto the Adobe Digital Editions on my laptop, and downloaded the app unto my android phone and signed in/ authorised, however my pdf/ ebooks are not showing up on the app? Any help please?I'm not that great and techy by the way so if possible can I have it in plain terms please? And thank you!  

I downloaded Digital Editions and authorized it before I downloaded a book that was sent to my email as an .ascm file. I keep getting the messageError getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIREDI already uninstalled the program, deauthorized it and authorized it again. Erased all the .ascm files from my computer and tried to download them again and Keep getting the same error. What do I do?? Really need to get this problem solved, I urgently need to work on those files....

I have a nook glowlight plus.  It has an active authorization code, yet will not display in ADE menu - therefore I cannot transfer books there.  Have tried uninstalling/reinstalling ADE already.  Library book shows properly on shelf - but no sign of nook so unable to drag/drop to read it there.  Even tried rebooting.   Barnes and Noble said to contact Adobe customer service.   Customer Service said had to post question here.  Unhappy - to say the least.  Never had issues with previous nook.

Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.2.151207. When I return borrowed books, they disappear from Digital Editions but when I log to my library, they are not returned and I have to wait for their default expiration before I can borrow another item again. Usually not a big deal, but I sometimes want to return a book ahead of time for various reasons (it could be boring, not what I expected, etc.). In that case, I feel taken as a hostage by Digital Editions because I have to wait twenty some days before I can borrow again.I tried uninstalling Digital Editions, and reinstalling it. Same problem.I tried erasing my authorization, and authorize again. Same problem.I tried erasing my authorization, create a new Adobe ID, and authorize with new ID, same problem.I contacted my library and they said I am not the only one experiencing this type of problem, but they don't know what to do as it is apparently in "Adobe's hands."A frustrated user.

Hi everyoneI am having the same issues as everybody else on this forum in not being able to download ADE.Bought a Kobo reader in June, up until 4 weeks ago everything was working fine, downloading books from the library, all was good.I have uninstalled, installed etc so many times  I have lost count. Yesterday I went on the chat line but as I was doing it from work I had to wait until I was home to get assistance as I was told that they could remote into my computer and fix the problem.I have just been on the "chat line"' for the past 30 wasted minutes only to find out that there is no chat line in Australia, no support and no phone number to contact as the phone number has been disconnected and the person assisting me on the chat line knew nothing about ADE, so how can he assist if he knows nothing about the software.As the only software to enable me to download books is ADE, it renders the Kobo reader useless....and what a waste of $250.00.It really is not good enough that there

Hi, I bother with a problem which is that Adobe Content Viewer shows nothing but a sample document. I tried on my both iPhones and still nothing.

For the past 5 months I have been having issues using ADE with my Kobo ereader.  In the past month I redownloaded ADE but with no success I keep getting "Not responding" error.  If I do finally get the ebook to transer from the library onto ADE, then I cannot transfer it onto my Kobo device, or if that actully works then the next problem is I cannot open the ebook to read on my Kobo.  I am gettig more and more frustrated and I have not found any forums to help with this problem.  Is it ADE or is it my Kobo?? Please help, I just want to read...:)

I have Windows 10 on my Laptop and have Adobe Digital Editions downloaded on it. I have an Insignia 10" Tablet that I use almost exclusively for reading books. I use Missiouri Libraries 2 Go.com, the source my Local Library has us use to download EPUB Books onto my Tablet. The only way to return downloaded books from my Tablet back to ML2Go is by using the Adobe Digital Edition on my Laptop. I have only been able to accomplish this task...once?!? I have been using A.D.E. for 6 months. The one time I was able to get all the books I had downloaded on my Tablet to appear in the A.D.E on my Laptop, I had to be signed into my gmail account and Adobe.com on both my Tablet and my Laptop.I have 4 books I wanted to return to the Library, so that I could checkout/download some new reading material, but, the books in my Library on my Tablet are not appearing in A.D.E. on my Laptop? I even Uninstalled A.D.E. on my Laptop and Reinstalled it. The same books...from back in September, are the only one

About the time Yahoo was hacked my ADE quit working.  Now I get an error message telling me I am using a different ID.  Been round and round trying to get this to work.  HELP  I am missing out reading my ebooks!
