Digital Editions

I just had to delete and reinstall ADE because it started putting my library books in what appears to be the cloud.  I delete the cloud a long time ago, so I am assuming that the cloud that appears on the book cover means 'the cloud'.  Now I get an error message when I try to sideload the book onto my Nook.I just don't understand the on-again and off-again behavior of ADE. For 2 months it worked great, however as of yesterday, once again, it won't let me sideload books and tells me I have returned the book. Maybe if Adobe got together with Windows they could figure out who or what is the problem.  If anyone out there has a suggestion, please let me know.

My Digital Libary is under C:\Users\UserName\OneDrive\Documents\My Digital Library. I don't have Office 365 and do not want to use OneDrive. Turning off OneDrive with the library where it is makes Digital Editions non-functional. It will lock up and the only way I can close it is through Task Manager. I would assume that somewhere in the registry is a pointer to where the library is. Does anyone know of a way to do that? Thank you in advance

Tenho uns quantos livros, comprados por mim - por isso estes livros são meus - em formato ebook. Como passava algumas horas de espera no meu antigo trabalho, instalei o ADE 4.5 no computador do trabalho e fiz o download dos ficheiros "título do livro".acsm. Autorizei o ADE 4.5 com o email do emprego e li uns quantos desses livros dessa forma sem andar com o meu kobo para trás e para diante, foi muito bom.Entretanto esse emprego acabou, já não tenho esse email! Só que agora aparece a mensagem: "E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER" quando tento abrir os MEUS (!) livros no meu computador em casa, com a ADE 4.5 autorizada pela minha adobe ID pessoal.Como posso recuperar a minha propriedade dos livros e aceder-lhes no ADE 4.5 em casa?

After I changed phone and downloaded Digital Editions app on my new phone, I lost all the books that I previously had in my library. I have no idea how to regain access to them. Can someone please help me with this issue?  

Although the books are correctly downloaded I can not read properly the books, as the image appears as if it had been deleted. I've tried on both my iPhone and my iPad and the result is the same. Even though there is no problem when I use the same file in my Kobo reader. Thanks for your time.

I'm using ADE 2 on Windows 7. I downloaded and used one book onto my Nook a few months ago,. Just purchased some more books and can't download them as when ascm is opened I get "Unable do download - Error getting license. License server communication problem. E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12."The authorise computer option is greyed out on the help menu as well. Also the book I had downloaded now has says "license key is damaged". I do have internet access and have tried this several times. I've got no firewall software blocking anything. Any ideas what I should do so I can actually use what I've brought!?Thanks in advance,Nigel

Tengo la aplicacon instlada en un iPAd y en un MacBook, la misma cuenta con el mismo ususario y contraseña, pero los libros iPad no puedo verlos en el MacBook y los instalados en el MAcBook no aparecen en el iPAd. 

I am trying to open an acsm ebook from my public library online. It was working before, but now ADE gives me an"Error! Check Activation" message. So I check my activation and everything is in place. I Go to "Deauthorize my computer." I put in the username and password (tested on the Adobe site), press the "Continue" button, Then I am given the option to "Erase Authorization." When I do that, it just comes back to the the login screen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, no change. Ideas?

Problema de comunicación con el servidor de licencias:E_ACT_NOT_READYTengo ID de Adobe, tampoco me deja borrarlo como he leído en algún foro. Mi ordenador en un mac mini.Ya no sé que hacer he comprado varios libros en formato electrónico y no los puedo leer, y tampoco puedo descargármelos de la bilblioteca.Muchas gracias por si respuesta. I'm trying to download an EPUB3 ebook that I purchased. But no matter what I try, the "URLink.acsm" file I get is always empty. I've tried different browsers, even different devices. I've contacted the seller and he sent me a new link, but it's the same problem. Adobe Digital Editions displays the error message "E_ADEPT_NO_TOKEN".What could be the reason for this problem?

HelloI have been using ebooks for over 20 years so come to this topic with a fair degree of confussion.I have been using Adobe Digital editions (ADE) 1.7.2.1131 in that period to purchase and transfer ebooks to various ereaders with no problems at all. Time arrives for a new PC (yes it happens) so downloaded a new version of ADE and then attempted to transfer the ebooks from one machine to the other. Nope. As I see my problem I would need to create a book vendor ID for in excess of 70 book sellers (worldwide and some have gone out of the ebook business, such as sony). So not workable. Or find a workable solution to this issue. So has anyone already come across a solution or is it a start from the beginning. Any pointers?    

I have recently installed adobe digital editions onto a windows 10 laptop. It worked fine initially but now it stays as a minimised thumbnail on the taskbar and will not open. It thinks it is open - it flashes and if I right click it gives me the option to close the window. I have run the compability troubleshooter but it has not helped. I have restarted multiple times because sometimes that helps - but not today. Any suggestions for what I can do? The chatbot was useless.

Cambié de ordenador y cambié de lector de ebooks, bajé la cuenta de adobe dital editions, enlacé el ebook y nofunciona nada: ni puedo recuperar los libros que tenía antes de los cambios, ni puedo ingresar nuevos libros en la biblioteca que aparece vacía pero cuando intento clicar un libro del ebook me dice que ya existe en la biblioteca. Evidentemente no sé si funciona el drm, no puedo usar la aplicación.  

Hi,I purchased an eBook a week ago through the Google Play store. When I first tried transferring it to my Kobo eReader I received an error about not being authorized with my Adobe ID. After deauthorizing and reauthorizing a dozen times, I'm now getting a different error when I try to transfer the book to my ereader, stating "unable to download, google device limit reached". I haven't even been able to successfully transfer it to a single device let alone exceeding my device limit. Anyway, I was told to post in this forum and an Adobe rep would revert this for me so I could transfer my book to my ereader seamlessly without any errors so I can finally read what I paid for a week ago. Thank you.

While opening the document in Adobe Digital Editions  4.5.11 getting below error. How to resolve this error?  

I am relatively new to Adobe Digital Editions and I have forgotten my Adobe ID that is associated with my purchases.  Is there a way for me to figure our what Adobe ID is associate with my files?  I still have access to download new copies from the store I purchased them from. Would I be able to download new copies and associate them with my known Adobe ID?

I bought a new Android tablet and I copied my old pdf in it. No problem with normal pdfs but pdfs with drm generate the error "document includes features not supported by this version of Adobe Acrobat".I'm using Adobe Acrobat 23.2.1.26166 and I can't find anything else that asks me to enter drm credentials. How can I unlock my files bought years ago?Thanks in advanceStefano

Currently in ADE 4.5, web links in the eBook open in Internet Explorer.Is there any way to have them open in the default browser (such as Chrome or Firefox)?Thank you for your assistance!

Ik wil graag de autorisatie van adobe digital editions verwijderen omdat ik een foutmelding krijg bij het uploaden van mijn e-books. Als ik dat probeer krijg ik de melding: netwerkfout. Ik heb het al op internet en op 4g geprobeerd, niets lijkt te werken. Iemand die een oplossing heeft?

I am trying to authorise my computer for Digitial Editions however one i put my account details in and click authorise i get the above code (also attached in the screenshot). how do i fix this. i need to be able to use it ASAP as the books needed are university textbooks which i need access to now.
