Digital Editions

I can't seem to use my account, nor am I able to erase the authorization. When attempting to open downloaded books, I get the error message "E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12". I was told to de- and then re-authorize the device (Mac osX 10.13.6), but attempting to erase the authorization I also get an error message, "Unable to erase authorization. Please try after some time." Trying again doesn't work. I'm able to log on to my account on the Adobe website so shouldn't be a password issue. Any help?   

I am trying to open an acsm ebook from my public library online. It was working before, but now ADE gives me an"Error! Check Activation" message. So I check my activation and everything is in place. I Go to Deauthorize my computer. I put int he username and password (tested on the Adobe site), press the "Continue" button, Then I am given the option to "Erase Authorization". When I do that, it just comes back the the login screen and gives me a message that says "Unable to Erase Authentication. Please try again after some time." I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, no change. Ideas?

This is soooo... awfully frustrating. Can't this actually be solved without workarounds (that don't appear to work)?!I went through the following steps:Delete the problem book(s) from your ereader.Open Adobe Digital Editions on the computer. Check to see if you can read the problem book(s) in ADE. Connect your e-reader.  Erase authorization on ADE (Go to the Help Menu at the top). Erase the authorization for the ereader (go to the side menu of ADE). Keep the e-reader connected to the computer.Go to your public library website and get a NEW book. Upload the new book to ADE. Adobe will then PROMPT YOU for the authorization. If it doesn't, go back to "help" at the top and reauthorize ADE. Go to the side menu of ADE to re-authorize your ereader.Drag the new book into your e-reader. Select "ereader" (ie: NOT all items, or borrowed items, or...). Try opening the book in the ereader area. If it opens there, it's likely that it will open in your e-reader.Re-upload what were the problem bo

Greetings to all of you. I have two problems with my Adobe Digital Edition (ADE) installed in my W10. Both these software are up-to-date. First one: when I highlight sentences or simple words on my e-books, very often my ADE freezes/crashes. During these last days the situation is getting from bad to worse. Does anyone have any idea pls? Second and last one: I cannot insert this e-book: Eleuteri_Provos_9788897747000 (_epub) into my ADE account. The reason on the scren: "ci sono errori in questo elemento"/there are mistakes in this element. IBS.it (the seller of the e-book) told me that by them all is ok, it is just a question of ADE. Hey there! I wanted to download new books to read from my online library. But now it says, it's not possible. Contact is just this forum. Can anyone help? I can't open a case or a chat on the Adobe website. My computer is the only device I use for that. I tried to delete some other books, but it doesn't work. Tried to de-authorize my computer and authorize again - nope. Don't know what I should do. Ich habe auf meinem PC Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 installiert. Bei der anschließenden Autorisierung des Computer erhalte ich die Fehlermeldung: Aktivierungsserver-Fehler: Code: E_AUTH_NOT_READYDer PC läuft unter Windows 10, Standardbrowser Mozilla Firefox.Kann mir jemand einen Tipp geben, was die Fehlerursache ist und wie ich die Autorisierung erfolgreich durchführen kann.Frank M.

Ho eliminato definitivamente l' account per tutto il mondo Adobe. Tuttavia esiste sempre su Digital Edition ( il pc risulta autorizzato con quell'ID ) e vorrei cancellarlo per sostituirlo. Ho  bisogno di aiuto

Hi I amhaving issues with ebooks as it does navigate to the next page, it want anymores working but does. Please help dear adobe im currently trying to use your adobe digital and the software is unable to load my books completely when a book is open the software only loads a single page and doesnt allow me to go the thorugh the book locking me in to the single page

I have purchased two books and downloaded them onto digital editions on my iPad. Both of them worked fine until yesturday, when one book completely glitched. Some pages are completely blank, others are cut through by white lines, making it completely unreadable. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app and signing in and out of the app, but nothing has helped so far. Any suggestions????

Can someone assist me with this?  I factory reset my Kobo ereader this morning but now I'm unable to authorize it with ADE. 

is it possible that some of the books i purchased and downloaded on ADE cannot be highlighted?Is there something i can do to change this?Thank you in advance 

We have a shop that uses EditionGuard to distribute our eBooks. Adobe Digital Editions is used to open the eBooks. We have a customer that is prompted with the message "The vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open. Try again" This user mentioned he has not fulfilled this transaction before so we would like to know who did it. All we can get from the fulfilled transaction is the adobe ID of the user in this format urn:uuid:ff2ddc22-eca0-46c6-a84d-xxxxxxxxxxxx. Is there any way to identify the linked email address that completed a fulfillment using that ID? Thanks in advance

Hello!Please bear with me. I think this is a Kobo problem, but Kobo support asked me to consult Adobe about it, so here I am.On my new Kobo Clara 2E E-reader, I'm having trouble with a PDF file. This file, which is an image PDF file, has 1,347 pages and takes up 112.6 MB of space.If I start at the beginning and try to page through it, after six or seven pages the Clara 2E kicks me out of the book (and marks it finished!).I've tried using the scrubber to position myself a bit further into the book and then trying to page backwards, but I get to a point where it simply won't page back anymore.I initially experienced this problem after loading the book (along with all my other books) through Digital Editions. Based on a Kobo support page, I tried deleting it from the Clara 2E and copying it directly onto the device in Windows using drag-and-drop. That didn't change anything; I still had the same symptoms.What's also odd is that this book works fine on my Kobo Forma and Elipsa readers. I c

The approximate solution for moving your authorized books between authorized computers is to copy the content of .\Documents\My Digital Editions from one computer to another -- but important details are missing.   Should you merge or merely overwrite all folders with copy, i.e. the tag folder?   Is there any chance you'll knock out a duplicated entry?   Worse yet,  Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11 has no help entries about these specific details.   If you attempt to chat with support, they tell you support ended.   On the File menu, there is not even an import library, to assist you.   Computer savvy users with some DOS and file manager skills can take guesses, but this is a severe omission in docuemtation and support.   Adobe is asking us to respect to DRM, but Adobe has no respect for end users.  Their total lack of any rudimentary features that are promised to end users is disrepectful. While I am symp
