Digital Editions

I have a new "KOBO Glo HD" and I have properly auth my computer and device and can copy without error books from my library to the device, however it stops there, and I get the following error on the device. I have removed the software (not done the registry thing) I have deauth and reauth my computer and device, getting close to the limit I am sure, and have yet to READ 1 book on my kobo. Protected by DRM? no this is not protection...BTW only support for ADE is chat and forums, and the person at the end of chat referred me to the forums, I think they should disable the CHAT support if your response will only be to refer to forums.Anyone encountered this and solved it? Is really annoying...

Hallo, kann  mir eventuell jemand helfen? Habe mal wieder ein Kobo gekauft (Fehler? :-)) Habe es eingerichtet, über ADE authorisiert. Von  meiner Onleihe-Bibliothek Bücher auf ADE geladen, von ADE aufs Kobo, aber es kann nicht geöffnet werden - keine Chance. Trotz zigmaligem Löschen, Wiederherstellen usw. usf. Kann mir eventuell jemand helfen? 

Hello, I am having trouble accessing my ebooks on Adobe Digital Editions, as I keep getting a message "Licence key is damaged" and I am also not able to download any more ebooks into my library.  I have tried contacting Adobe Help and they have just sent me to this Forum.  If anyone can assist me please, I would be hugely grateful!  Many thanks 

Hello.  As my current authorization ID on adobe digital editions was deleted, I don't know how to erase computer authorization.  Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

VERIFICATE CHE LA CONNESSIONE A INTERNET SIA DISPONIBILE. Col secondo e-book invece non ci sono stati problemi. Come posso riuscire a scaricarlo?

Hi!My ebook-reader device is Authorized.Im running windows 11.Device (and computer) is restarted.ADE is reinstalled. Non DRM-books can be copied to my device.DRM protected books generates the folloeing error message: "CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED" (se. attached pic.)How can I solve this? Reg. Johan 

Adobe Digital Editions is really annoying to me. I'm using it to read ebooks I need for my phd. Constantly this damn software is crashing when I want to highlight some text. Everything is really slow. When I open the window where I can see my bookmarks, the text become somewhat unclear and less readable. I can not copy and paste passages which makes it not useful for using citation software like Endnote or Citavi (compared to 'normal' pdf reader where I can copy the text and insert it as citation in my citation software). The software is unusable for me because I have to work with the texts, I have to mark things. A programme that constantly crashes is of little help. And I hope that changes can be made with future updates.

Hi,I use the Adobe digital edions software on my Windows 10 laptop, for e-pub books and adobe lessons material. I can not change the view in a 2 pages next to each other view.Only the page by page view is active.The "view  with 2 pages" in the pulldown menu is not active and therefor not approchable.There no setting that I can find which would make this puldown menu item active. I have already in stlalled the latest version, but still the same problem.Can anybody help me out here?

I have received a message that access to my ebook has expired and I have to re-import it. Why do they expire? I cant find any instructions on how to re-import it. 

I use a Nook eReader to download library eBooks from my local library.    I had to replace my old MacBook Pro running OS X El Capitan version 10.11.6 and purchased a MacBook Pro running Mac OS Big Sur 11.3.1 using the new Apple M1 chip. The only version of ADE that works with Big Sur is version 4,5.   My problem is the file format for the Nook eReader is not supported by ADE 4.5. Does anyone know if Adobe will update ADE 3.0 to work with Big Sur ???

I've authorized Adobe Digital Editions on 6 various devices in the past that I currently no longer have in my possession, so right now I can't authorize my current laptop and phone. Is there something I can do to reset the authorization - erasing the past authorizations - to make room for new authorizations? At least, so that I could authorize my current laptop. Please help, and thank you very much in advance.

Corrupted files.  Since I migrated to a new IPad mini 6 from mini 4 all of my books, including  the ADE User Manual are missing pages and parts of pages. How can this be fixed?

Hi there, i downloaded an ebook and want to add it to my adobe digital edition library to transfer it to my ebook reader. But when i try to add it, this message comes up: "Fehler beim Abrufen der Lizenz; Lizenzserver-Kommunikationsfehler: E_IO_CANNOT_OPEN"  (i guess in english it's "licence-server communicationerror" or something like that xD)I already deinstalled and installed the adobe digital edition anew but the error message is still there. Bonjour,J'utilise Adobe Digital Edition pour lire les e-books que j'emprunte à la bibliothèque.  Réçamment, j'ai dû faire une mise à jour et le désinstaller. Je l'ai réinstallé et on me demande un mot de passe, mot de passe dont je ne me souviens plus. J'ai donc essayé de changer le mot de passe sur le site d'Adobe. En fait, le site d'Adobe reconnait mon mot de passe mais ADE ne reconnait pas ce même mot de passe. Pourtant j'ai essayé de me reconnecter en changeant de mot de passe plusieurs fois mais j'ai toujours le même problème.Avez-vous une idée pour m'aider ?

In ADE kann ich nicht mehr suchen. Suchfeld-Eingabe findet kein einziges Wort. Es werden auch keine Kapitel mehr angezeigt. Nur noch den Text. Ich kann die Bücher plötzlich auch nicht mehr mit Adobe Acrobat oder mit sonst einem Programm öffnen. Dort konnte ich früher wenigstens die Dateien nach Stichwörtern durchsuchen. Das geht jetzt nicht mehr. Wenn ich ein Buch im Finder öffnen will, geht ein Browserfenster auf und meldet zynisch: "Du suchst nach unbekannten Gewässern" (404-Fehler). Sorry, für solche Spässe habe ich gerade keinen Humor. Meine Büchersammlung hat einen Wert im niedrigen fünfstelligen Franken bzw. Eurobereich. Bücher werden teilweise wertlos, wenn man nicht darin suchen kann. Bis das von Adobe gelöst ist, werde ich keine digitalen Titel mehr kaufen und meinen Studenten dringend davon abraten. Wenn ich eine digitale Büchersammlung habe, möchte ich gerne Suchen Cluster über mehrere Titel zu bestimmten Themen finden. Dafür würde ich auch gutes Geld bezahlen. Stattdes

uso normalmente adobe digital editions per scaricare i libri con MLOL (il sistema interbibliotecario di prestito di libri in formato digitale). da ieri tuttavia va sempre in errore e non riesco nè a leggere sul computer, nè a trasferire il file sul kobo. come devo fare?
