Why are the column widths the width they are as no width is defined?

HelloWhy are the column widths the width they are as no widths are defined?I would like the columns to be different widths of my choice. I cannot figure why the main colunm is the width it is right now.The .rightside colunm is a smaller width then the aside colunm next to it. I also have removed from .containerdisplay: flex;flex-direction: column; And from: mainflex: 1;There is no change in the layout so I guess they are not needed. I can resize the width of the browser and the layout collapses correctly. It looks fine in my android LG6 cell phone. Is the code all correct?I did a css check and no errors were found. test pagehttp://davidswebsite.com/test/responsive_layout.html

Een onderdeel uit Bewerken --> Voorkeuren werkt niet goed in Ontwerp van een pagina

Bij de online CHAT en bij de REMOTE (overname van decomputer) kon mannen mij niet helpen omdat mijn DW in het Nederlands is en mannen wilde, dat ik er eerst een Engelse versie van moest maken.... Er was mij gemeld dat de tijd verstreken was.....Mijn probleem:Menu Bewerken > Voorkeuren > Kopiëren/plakkenziet er zo uit:Afb. 1:In het Ontwerp-scherm krijg ik door het klikken met de rechtermuisknop en dan kiezen voor 'Plakken speciaal' het volgende scherm:Zie tweede afbeelding:Het derde en het vierde item zijn dus 'verdwenen', grijs.Opnieuw opstarten werkt niet.Ik heb de nieuwste versie van DW! Deze is dus up-to-date.Het probleem doet zich sinds een paar dagen voor, zonder dat er iets veranderd is in de voorkeuren.

How to rebuild ancient eBay page template from Dreamweaver CS5 or 6? to HTML 5 responsive....?

I used to build websites for my favourite 1970s band using dreamweaver back in the early days when everything was table based and CSS was new.  I have moved on to using WordPress for those sites, but I still occasionally list some of my record and comic book collection on eBay and have Adobe CC acount.  I have continued to use a template I built ages ago that was table based and I am sure not HTML 5 compliant and of course is not built with bootstrap or responsive.  It has worked fine as I just take the old file and change it up and then copy the table portion of the html file and insert into eBay.  I am hoping to start listing more things on eBay and I would like to rebuild the template and make it responsive so folks can see it well on tablet and phone.  The Template I had made was basically a table with a bunch of rows that included some nested tables that had 3 columns for three images (which I probaby don't need) in some places, had colored text in some pl

Where's the visual padding?

Hi community,I've recently updated from DW 20 to DW 21.1, and everything worked fine as usual but one thing: the visual padding, I mean the visualization of the padding in the delevoper mode has gone.Really, fisically: for years, I've loved DW as a code tool cause it had a very good preview of my code (I develop PHP/CSS code by myself), very usefull while I was editing so I could see in real time the chances.Now, the padding preview is gone, and that is very irritating.I can still see the margin preview but not the padding.That wa useful, specially when I have to develop a new template and I'm calculating the px.I've searched almost anywhere, but no luck.I'm missing something, or what?Any ideas? Thanks in advance

OAM in Dw does not work

We created our Web Site in 2010 and the Designer then used .ASP files ...

We updated and went to Subcription updates and now  on the local site we can include a link butdoes not show up on Remote... We are getting 400.00 problem can't find whatever.   Contacted support he did not ohave an answer...   What do we do to fix or can we convert the files??  I am lost and what to do.Rube

I cannot get the hyperlinks to work on my updated pages

Ok...I'm rebuilding my website, and on my bookcover.html page the hyperlinks to the books listed will NOT work regardless of how many times I redo the d*** page and upload it to my server. The new page will NOT reflect the changes. Also, on my gallery page, two new images will NOT load at all. Same problem. They won't update. This is royally pi**ing me off, and I don't know what to do about it.

RE: Dreamweaver CC 21Hello community, I hope you can help me with an issue I am having with Dreamweaver Find and Replace.I do a find and generate a set of pages as my search result.  Now I want to search within these pages for another query.  How can I do that? Alternatively, I could search for a document (not a specific tag) that [contains] x AND [does not contain] xx but I can't see how to do that either only if both parameters are within a specific tag. Any help would be appreciated.

Crashing when trying to save orphaned files results

I am responsible for a website that has hundreds of thousands of items. I use the link checker to check links sitewide, and after a long time, results for broken links are displayed. I am able to save that report. I change the drop down from broken links to orpaned files, there is a lag and Dreamweaver becomes non-responsive. After quite awhile, a list of orphaned files are displayed. Whenever I try to save this, Dreamweaver crashes and the crash report shows up. This happened in Dreamweaver 2019, then I updated to 2021 and it still happens. It is happening in CS6 too.

Dreamwever 2021 Load failure

I have accessed Creative Cloud Desktop and attempted to Open Dreamwever 2021   Click on the Open tab,  Dreamwever 2021 starts to Initialise files and then just hangs The next stage is for Dreamwever to flag "Not Responding" This issue has been a problem for the past few days and I need an urgent solution -- particularly as we are paying for the service. live preview

i can not veiw live priview in any broswer, i have safari and chrome, just every option for everything live view is greyed out, i cant seem to find anything online, and i am really beginner with dreamweaver/code coming from a WP background. any html or php i bring up just send me to a white screen, there is a info bar talking about dynamix content, when i try to retrive it it fails.... i have no idea why or whats happening, i import4d the site over ftp, its all there, i just cant see it on live?

seem unable to install DW to a partition other than C:

I am going to re-install windows soon so I thought before I do it, I would get any software off the C: partition and re-install to my P: partition (p for programs - I'm so smooth!).  I un-installed DW then within CC Desktop clicked Install, confident it would ask me where I'd like to install it NO SUCH LUCK - it installed neatly back on my C: partiton!  Does anyone know if what I want to do is possible? many thanks in advance, David

local file list has disappeared

I was typing in a few characters to locate a a file in the sidebar file list, and then suddently they all just disappeared. they are still on the  machine, just not displayed in DW.I check cloaking - i disabled it.I still see the list of remote files if I'm connected, but nothing on the local side.What did I do - and i do i reverse it 🙂 Thanks

Cursor moves lines in code panel

Hi, has anybody else had this issue?I am typing away in the code panel, and all of a sudden the cursor jumps about 5 or 6 lines down and to the left and carries on inputting the code as I type. So, I delete the code that has been entered in the wrong place, reposition the cursor to where I want it and start typing again... lo and behold, the cursor moves itself again. If I don't look up to see what I have typed I can completely ruin all sorts of code meaning I've got to physically look for what has been erroneously entered!It's frustrating!

Hi all, I wanted to write this post because I do not think it correct that Adobe, after updating, requires me to pay for the new software version. Dreamweaver asked me to update and delete the old software and so I did. After starting it I noticed that the software was on trial ... I could not find Dreamweaver 2020 on the site, could someone help me, thanks
