We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit org, No Person Left Behind.org, and we need your help to learn how to update our website with DW 21.7 and add some new features that have been requested.We started back in 2005 with our website using Windows FrontPage. Then, when it was dropped, we moved to Windows Expression.  We currently have one sub-website using Expressions 4 and the other using DW5/6, both on Windows 10 Pro. till win 10 Pro end of life. We tried to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro, but the software would not work on our system, so like many others, we had to buy a new desktop and reinstall all the software.  A lot of my Windows Office software would not work on Windows 11 Pro, so I installed Office 365 and Creative Cloud Pro, which included DW 21.7.Now the issue: I'm very old-school, need some help with our website, and am also learning how to use DW 21.7.    Your help would be greatly appreciated so very much Ms. LindaExecutive DirectorNo Person Left Behind.org

Noting the absence of Dreamweaver 21.4 in the current list of Adobe apps supporting Sequoia. macos-sequoia-compatibility-common-issues  Has anybody run into significant issues of Dreamweaver on macOS 15 Sequoia? (I'm reminded of the Muse / TypeKit fail....)

I am filing this as a new bug report with full technical details from my crash logs, as I believe this is a distinct and unresolved issue affecting Mac users on macOS 26 Tahoe.**My Setup:**- MacBook Pro (Mac14,9 — M2 Pro, Apple Silicon)- macOS 26.4 Tahoe (build 25E246)- Dreamweaver 21.7.0.15757- ARM-64 Native (not running under Rosetta)**The Problem:**Dreamweaver crashes randomly during normal editing sessions — cutting and pasting code, typing text, or sometimes spontaneously, with no specific user action. There is no consistent trigger, which makes it impossible to reproduce on demand. I have submitted multiple crash reports to Adobe through the macOS crash dialog.**What the Crash Reports Show:**Both crash reports I have studied in detail show an identical failure pattern. The exception type is EXC_BREAKPOINT (SIGTRAP) — this is not a simple application error but a hard assertion failure inside Dreamweaver's Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF), meaning the CEF code itself is hitting a

Every time I open a page in code view the font is a different size. Sometimes they are microscopic, sometimes they are huge. I've reset the font size in Preferences about a hundred times but the font size lucky dip keeps happening.Is there any way to get Dreamwever to just display every page at the font size that I've set in the preferences instead of displaying every page at a random font size ?

This has just started to happen, but not on every page.I create a new page (copy existing page in same folder and the edit with new information etc)  and when finished I check that it looks and works by using the Open in Browser command. Some pages as I have mentioned open fully but some look as if the CSS has been left out or is pointing to the wrong folder. I have checked that pages have the correct CSS which they do. I have attached some examples of the issue. When I check other pages that link the pages that don’t open directly from the Open in Browser do work as expected.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a vague memory from year ago that there was a way to have my interior part of the page pull in an htm, but I'm not sure if it's my imagination or not. I WAS able to make an htm/html that worked from the YouTube. I'm using Dreamweaver 21.4 and Windows 10.

After dreamweaver update to 21.5 Git is not working anymore on windows 11 in dreamweaver.  Git works outside dreamweaver.  Git settings are greyed out for both new and existing sites. Git panel is blank. Please assist. Thanks

I've bought the monthly subscription of Dreamweaver and have downloaded the newest version (Dreamweaver 2020). Is there a way I can get the older version ( CS6) either with the new version or to replace it.

All of a sudden, Dreamweaver is not working properly.  First, I stopped getting the breadcrumb linked files that are attached to html files to easily navigate to them.  I now have to load them individually in dreamweaver.  Second, my browser previews no longer work in any browser.  Third, now I can’t make new html files.  There is nothing listed in the framework.  I have restarted my computer, deleted preferences, even uninstalled and re-installed the application several times.  Does anyone have a solution to this.  I’m using the most current Dreamweaver version available, 21.7 build 15757.

On my PC and work laptop Dreamweaver is freezing and crashing everyday since this last update, it is very annoying. Please fix this bug.

Hello: My main reason for having the artworks on the left and the text on the right is that I wanted them to collapse, having the text below the images. It works great. However, is there a media query I can apply to have it alternate (image - text to text - image and vice versa) with the same effect?  matthewjablonski.com Matthew  

In order to copy/paste in Dreamweaver 21.5 (Windows 11), I have to click out of the program only to have to click back into the program just to copy. If I don't do this, when I copy the selected text (code), it will randomly jump and just copy something else. Rebooting has no effect.

The code editor in DW 21.2 has messed up drag and drop to the point where you can no longer see where the drag is going to be dropped. Up to now, a ghost edit-point cursor has shown exactly where it was going (although it was sometimes hard to see). Now it appears if there is some sort of weird icon near the mouse arrow, but NO indication of where the paste is occurring. This will force me to use an external text editor, which is just another painful step in doing my work. Don't get me wrong, external text editors are great but taking the time to force the external editor every time I want to edit a file is ridiculous. Alternately, I will have to cut/paste each move, now that drag and drop is not controllable any more. Please, undo this "improvement"!

Hello, I’m currently working on a website that’s meant to be article based- with paragraph content and corresponding pictures taking up most of the site. I’m having trouble nailing down the layout and was wondering if anyone had any advice/resources they could share? I’m making my site responsive with media queries and flex displays, what I’m most interested in is how to get the images to sit in certain spots as they size down, and how to make them flow with the text better if that makes sense. I’d appreciate any advice!

Image + Connected Text againA couple of weeks ago we discussed methods to publish images and text together on the web, like in Word or DTP. I received worthwhile advices on flex-based methods for three to five images in a row.However, for me one-to-one is the most common scenario; Like an article in a newspaper, images of any size with a relevant text mass to match. I have tried the figure>image>figcaption again and it seems to work for any image size and there are no straying text pieces; orphans or “bastards” in vulgar DTP lingo. I just wanted to have your comments if you see any other inconveniences for a website!Right now, I scrutinize Jim Maivald’s DW Classroom in a book which seems quite systematic. Although a 2022 release it may still be the best source since Adobe has stopped developing DW? Of course, CSS carry on, so if you can recommend recently published book titles relevant to DW they are welcome! Thanks for all help provided here, Ingemar 

Starting March 15th, new SSL certificates will be valid for only 200 days — about 7 months — instead of a full year. This is an industry-wide change.  SSLs issued before March 15 will keep their full term. However, anything issued after will be required to reissue their certificates every 200 days.  Mark your calendars accordingly.  😉
