Hi, I am having an issue with my dreamweaver registration and login page connecting and sending data to my database on my testing server.I am new to dreamweaver and databases. I am also using php5.6, I understand it is deprecated, however everything I am using is php 5.6, my testing server and my paid FTP.However I am willing to learn and upgrade to php 7 If I have to. I am also willing to use another software to produce a registration and login page for my site. MY issue seems simple, I used a tutorial to make my registration, login page and database on my testing server. Hi thereSo it's been three days and i'm stuck trying to center an image with thick borders with a paragraph (View the 1st picture), i searched and watched tutorials but still when i try it out nothing changes...Also i can't get it to work as a responsive element, the idea is to have a responsive website, but when shrink the browser's width, the image stays as it is, it doesn't shrink with it, i have a full width image in the top of the page that shrinks responsively, no problem, but this won't...What am i doing wrong here? any suggestions? i'd appreciate some help!HTML<section id="showcase">     <div class="container">          <div class="box1">               <img src="img/Box1.jpg" alt="Original, Noimitation">               <h3>Original</h3> 

hello again...New site very near complete (thanx to some good people here)...one minor detail left:On my home page, in the EVENTS Column (far right, light blue), I'm listing upcoming events already having flyers on the EVENTS Page.  I needed to have the link from the Column (titled 'CLICK HERE FOR FLYER') lead to the appropriate image on the EVENTS Page; & have that image be centered vertically on the page.So...even tho it's bootstrap, the images on the EVENTS Page are in a div, the 1st of which looked like this:<div class="text-center">  <img src="BCANA001.jpg" width="704" height="937" alt=""/></div>so I just wrapped that w/ a div ID, to look like this:<div id="image1">  <div class="text-center">    <img src="BCANA001.jpg" width="704" height="937" alt=""/>  </div></div>& then linked to it (from the home page EVENTS Column) like so:<a href="events.html#image1">CLICK HERE FOR FLYER</a>

My "link href" and "script src" calls to my  CSS and JS files are not showing up in Dreamweaver. They now show a title "Source Code" or they show nothing at all. I've never had this issue in the 10 years I've been using Dreamweaver. I uninstalled it and restarted but the same problem is still happening. I'm running/testing my files locally. I the picture I attached my html is the first "Source Code", the second "Source Code" should be my "styles.css", and my "index.js" is not show at all. The rest are animation code libraries. Any help would be appreciated. I'm running the latest Dreamweaver CCThanks,Walter

I am trying to get some codes for a timer on my live scores page for a football/soccer match done in DW cs6. Timer should be minutes and seconds (example 12:42) and should start when I upload the page. It should stop at 45 mins for the first half the match and go to 45+ time added (example 45+2:23). Should restart at 45 mins for the second half (example 45:00). Should stop at 90 mins and move to 90+ time added (example 90+2:23).

In Animate 2007cc my animation scale perfectly.  When I put the OAM in Dw 2017cc, it do not scale for the small device.  The game stay with the save Width and Height. What I have to do to make it work.Thank you Lise

Hi! I have been watching a video on YouTube from DevTips. He uses Jekyll as his programming platform and as such there are some differences in the code.One thing that he is able to do is in the index.html he uses code like this;      {% include header.html%} This code links the header code to the index and makes the preview appear with the header but from the index document instead of the header document. Is there a way to do this with Dreamweaver? Have multiple documents with HTML, CSS and JS all combine to create one page? Thanks, I hope that makes sense.

Hi, i am working on a 1080p monitor, however I am developing a website for a 4K monitor.The problem I am having is that the website is so large, in Dreamweaver I can only see 10% of the page at a time in design view.How can I fit the website to the viewing area on Dreamweaver so i can see what im doing?  Viewing only 10% of the website makes design view pretty much worthless.I want to zoom out or fit to page as they call it in PS so i can see the whole page and program it fast. I have 50 pages to edit and this view just doesn't work!Thanks.

I have been trying for a couple of weeks to upload the new version of a website that I did not create. It had taken me about a month to make and I talked to my hosting site and they told me that my ftp connection was working. However my site was not updating. I realized my testing server had not synchronized with my remote server and this might be why. So I tried to synchronize my servers and my pages were completely replaced by the old html. I have recreated the pages again and I believe I need step by step instructions on how to upload. Can anyone help me out?

Hello,I attempted to start working on the container part and somehow all of the text has shifted to the right. It DOES not look like this in the browser but it is doing it in dreamweaver. What did i do wrong how can i get everything back to the center as it did when i first started? the center as it did when i first started.

Hey Guys - When it comes to web design, I'm definitely a novice; yet have been tasked with creating a webpage for proof of concept for someone and need a little guidance, please.  They currently have a single page for internal use which provides shortcuts to a variety of internal services.  The page basically includes a header followed by a 5 x 4 grid of internal sites to pick from.  Each has a title, icon, and very short description.  I can't post a full screenshot of it, but below is a snippet of 3 of the items with company info blurred out:I've been asked to add more content using DreamWeaver CC 2018 yet they still want all links to be visible without scrolling.  My approved options are to shrink the current links, rearrange them, or start all over from scratch if needed as it's just for temporary POC use.  If only editing it, I could handle it as I've been a systems admin for many years, but doing this kind of thing has thrown me for a loop. Several years ago a created a webb-site with the aid of Dreamweaver 8. Since I couldn't use it together with win 10 I recently got Dreamweaver CC wich works almost identically. Back then I had some help with my creation and have built it larger by the years. Now I had to reconstruct the index-site and just like before I have a slider centered (by Wowslider) on the page but I just cannot recall how the dropshadow round the photos was made. Hello everyone -Im a self taught beginner, I love coming here and being able to get my questions answered! I built my first dreamweaver website and published it three months ago. (this is the first website I've actually published). However, I am running into a problem....it keeps changing on me even though I have not updated or touched the files since. KZ Designs Everything looked great at first - but now it looks like one of the tabs cant find the CCS page (all the images are jumbled, none of the layout is right). Some computers see some images, while others dont. Then - it can suddenly change, it can work again, or something else can go wrong.Any idea on what is going on? I am not experienced at hosting websites so I may be missing something. I did not have any security/SSL certficiates. I bought this and hope to have it set up asap. Go daddy is the host. Any tips or links to articles/tutorials would be amazing. Thank you!

Wir nutzen aktuell die Version CC 2015, sowie die Version CC 2018 - jedoch auf zwei unterschiedlichen Arbeitsplätzen. Beide PCs sind mit dem gleichen Netzwerk verbunden und haben exakt die gleichen Einstellungen im Bereich "Sites verwalten". Dennoch erhalten wir bei der Version CC 2018 immer wieder diese Fehlermeldung Der Adobe Support hat mir hierzu keine nützlichen Tipps geben können. Kennt jemand zufällig dieses Problem und weiß was zu tun ist?

Im new to DW 2018. Im playin around building some practice sites. Ive studied a lot of videos and searched the web up and down. I built a few website with a title name of. I built another one called. And another one called. At this point all the titles in ,html file  are as I named them. When I click the drop down to select one of the other two site to view the html file all my titles change to the first websites html file name "". When I view the sites in goggle chrome all the titles are are as I named them originally. Sum it up the titles on all sites change only in the .html files to the first site title name. I have been using a template for years to update pages in multilevel subdirectories.  It has always kept the proper notation to maintain links.  With the latest modification all the links are broken.  For example a menu line in the dwt file is           <li><a href="index.htm">Home</a></li>                 originally produced a line of code for a page several directories down as          <li><a href="../../../../index.htm">Home</a></li>     now the line in the updated page becomes           <li><a href="index.htm">Home</a></li>Any idea why this occurred and how it can be fixed?

Hello,Is this possible and will it work or not? Let's say I have a website, but I'd like to have a folder within that site containing a completely different website - however, I would like this "sub-site" not to be crawled by bots / not to be followed.The rule of thumb is you add the robots.txt to the root of the site. By having this robots.txt file in the root of the sub-site, does that count as root or not? - Will this sub-site unintentionally be crawled?Let me know for sure. And also what other suggestions you have for me to achieve this?Thank you.

I'm a little fuzzy on how this all works, so grace needed. But how long do I have to keep html files?  I have them on my computer from back in 2012. Can I delete after so long?
