Dreamweaver

hello all,I know that it is a strange question, but, is there is anyone on this forum that would be interested in giving a second read on articles wrote in english.... I first write them in French then as english is not my mother tongue, I translate them as good as I can, but there are still some frenglish errors and bad grammar or formulation that happens...they are free, and there is no commercial or any mercantile idea behind it...the next serie will be on Sass... currently they are 7 or 8 articles (making a total of 30 pages (without screen grab). to be published on creative pipeline) .. there is one on GIT beeing prepared, then will follow a serie on CSS (flexbox, grid and shape)....thanks for your attention and sorry for the noiseback to work.... have  a nice daybirnou

Hi - My Dreamweaver CC Libraries panel is empty.I do have a Creative Cloud account.  Dreamweaver is signed in to my account.  I do have colour swatches set up, and when signing into Creative Cloud Libraries on the web I see the Kuler colour themes.CC Libraries is visible in Illustrator, and showing my library of colour themes, but nothing is visible in the panel in Dreamweaver.I'm using Dreamweaver 2017.5 on a Mac.Wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction?

n 2014 I bought Dreamweaver by Bol.com via TresBizz B.V.This was successfully installed and activated on the pc.This year I got a new pc, but not possible to use Dreamweaver on the new pc.Even when Dreamweaver has been installed from the old pc.That is because when I try to register Dreamweaver with below key, I got the following message:[key removed by Mod]I have paid for this product, so I don't understand why I cannot install it on my new pc, even if I uninstall this product from my old pc.Can someone advise how to get Dreamweaver activated, otherwise I can just use it for 30 days.Thanks.

Hi Everyone,I think I may already know the answer but I'm hoping there may be a potential fix for my issue. I have a very old version of Dreamweaver (CS5) which I'm very happy with and works pretty well for the most part. I've done web development using it for a number of customers over the years and had relatively few problems with it. I've had a customer approach me to do some web development for him but his domain is one of the new domain suffixes (.taxi to be precise) but Dreamweaver just gives a generic error when I attempt to connect to the site. I know the details are correct as Filezilla/ Windows Explorer etc work without issue.Is this a known issue/ is there a fix for this?

Hi,I am pretty new in Dreamweawer and have a task to build classifieds site. Just getting into understanding into cck, views etc...
First I chose to try some of the frameworks like cake, codeigniter, zend and similar, but they are too much time consuming to develop even simple user anthentication so I went to DW.My requirements are:MAJOR:
1. Classifieds are in categories (auto, furniture, jobs, pets, technics etc.)
2. Categories can have other sub-categories inside (auto -> vw,ford,ferrari, jobs -> temporary,permanent,part time) and even deeper, without limiting depth.
3. Classifieds have the same data fields between them (price, main text content, city, contacts etc.) AND distinctive, depending on category: if user selects, that he wants to place ad in "auto" section, then he can select "fuel type: gadoline or diesel", "transmision type: auto or manual" if user selects to place ad on "jobs" then aditional fields like "job type: permanent, temporary..." and amount of monthly (hou

I had the 1.11.3 originally. My navicon rolled out and collapsed as needed for phone & tablet views.Then, I installed the 1.12.2 to get the smooth scroll for anchors w/ the easing. So the 'core' 3.2.1 is also being called in.Upon adding the latter, the navicon no longer functioned.I realized, could it be a conflict with the library versions? I just commented out the call for 1.11.3 and removed the minified file off the server.Still doesn't work. I am working in split view using code (using the .css file) and live. When I select something in my live view, it shows me the .class file that is applied to it in the live view window. I want to change a few things with that rule. I click the .class in the little upper-left box within the div (live view), then it shows in my CSS Designer, not in my CSS file on the left. If I right click on it in the CSS Designer, then I can go to the exact spot in my .css file, where I can edit it. Is there a better and faster way? Suppose I want to see the and work in the actual css code file, selecting from live view and not the CSS Designer?Otherwise, since I know the rule I want to edit by seeing the name in the live view window, I want to find that exact .class rule in the css file that is also open. Is there a way to quickly search or find it.  Now I find I am scrolling constantly looking for the .class in a very long file.Thanks

I've created a small animation that I moved into Dreamweaver (for a class project), but when I start moving elements in Dreamweaver, the file is deleted.  As part of the project, I need to add a Photoshop file (which is easy) and a simple form (which I believe can be created in both Animate or Dreamweaver).  Dreamweaver seems to keep everything Flush-left, which leaves no room for the form.  Wouldn't it be easier to create the entire page in Animate and move it over?

Is there a quick fix to ensure all containers are spanning entire width of screen edge to edge on small devices?On phones, there is what appears to be a 5px white margin on left & right sides.default:.container {  padding-right: 15px;  padding-left: 15px;  margin-right: auto;  margin-left: auto;}Could it be the rows causing this conflict?The body has nothing: html, body { margin: 0; padding: 0; }Thank you.

I changed an image on local folder tree, then saved and put the files. New file does not appear locally, nor on the remote site.Changes to the home page, however, _have_ been correctly updated. Only the correct image has not been updated, on the local nor the remote folder tree. File name is correct, but not the image.Any ideas appreciated,Best,jwc

After updating my Dreamweaver I haven't got my toolbar at the top with things like save, save as, h1, h2 etc. I can't find a way of getting it back. The only option when I go to toolbars is standard. There are items on a toolbar on the left, but editing it there doesn't seem to be the ones I want.

I'm struggling with Dw Advanced Find and Replace. Essentially - I have:<div class="scheme1"><img src ..... ></div>...that's located in 100s of files on a website. I want to find every "img src" and replace it with "img class="imgclass" src" - ONLY when it appears inside a div with the class set to "scheme1." Is this possible? I've tried with several find and replace parameters and I'm getting "none found" - anyone know what I might be doing wrong? I can post a screenshot if this isn't clear. Thanks,

I've created a small corporate intranet and have been asked to add a basic search function to the site. I'm not sure how to implement this. The intranet is not exposed to the outside world. It's about 40 pages, mostly text, running off of IIS 7 on a Windows 2008 R2 server.

The "put" under "site" in the menu bar is inactive (grayed out), so I am unable to send my web page to the server.  How do I activate "put"?

I have just returned to Dreamweaver after several years so was expecting some issues.  I have produced a logo in Illustrator CC and saved it to the Assets folder as a flattened Ai file.  But importing from the site images folder I get a blank rectangle.  I'd appreciate help with this issue.I have tried saving as an Ai file as SVG or leaving it as a simply Ai file.  I have also copied and pasted into the assets folder, I have tried converting it to an asset, and inserting it into my CC library but it will only ever appear as the empty rectangle.It is listed OK in Code and in CSS; I can alter the size and position but it would be good to see the logo appearing as it was designed to be seen.

I JUST purchased the entire Creative cloud and Dreamweaver will not open at all.  Is this a known problem?@

Hi Adobe,An other question about the intro EVISSI  On desktop/phone/tablet I made various versions, but on tablet landscape none of them is visible. I tried to change in the css 769 and 960 into 1024 px, but that didn't work.Does someone have any idea??I've been thinking .... is there a possibility that a script detects if it is a desktop or a mobile user who is visiting the site?

I use DW 2017.5 and a iPhone 7 Plus with IOS 11. I can see in DW in the device preview panel the connected iPhone and I can also click in the DW device preview panel on the device and then the iPhone display shows the overlay with the device data.So I think the connection over the WLAN is ok.But I can not see the website on the iPhone. The iPhone shows only a withe blank page. On the local browser with the URL: http://127.0.0.1:49893/preview/app/index.html is all ok, only on my iPhone (also with an iPad) I see a blank page.Any ideas?(It is deffentily not a Firewall or Antivirus Problem. I tryed to disable all, same problem.)

Hi everyone,I have a website done with Dreamweaver CS6. Each web page refers to files to be included such as .css and .js. In Dreamweaver CS6, those files can be easily opened by clicking on it in the status bar.However, if I open the very same web site in Dreamweaver CC, there comes an error message "'filename.css' is not a local file", together with a link to download the file from the remote server. If I follow that link, it says 'filename is not on a defined site". (The error messages might be slightly different because I translated them from German to English.)I tried to export the site from CS6 and import in CC, to no avail.I know, there was a discussion in 2013 saying the problem will be fixed… but apparently it hasn't or I'm missing something…Thank you for your help!

Is there any restriction on what file names are acceptable?

I was having issues with a specific php file causing Dreamweaver to crash repeatedly. I restarted the computer, reset preferences, cleared the cache.i used notepad to move all the code inside the file to another differently named file.Just opening that files caused Dreamweaver to crash.By luck I noticed I had the following code:class email {privatepublic function sendemail() {......}}removing the "private" resolved the Dreamweaver crash problem. Just having that private in the code in that manner caused the crash, nothing more was required. Removing it with notepad resolved the issue. Reinserting it with notepad caused the issue to reoccur. I repeated it several times.Next I tried just typing in  "private" before a public function in striped down code. I've done this so many times in the past, but now cannot remember how. I just created a new web site (actually am rebuilding an existing one; all content on local and remote-server locations is already in place). I just cannot remember how to navigate to the location within D-W, that allows me to input the server name and path for the remote content.With thanks in advance,jwc
