The "I got the Study to Swim" part is supposed to be white just like its bottom text but when i launch it on the web browser, its purple. In dreamweaver i added the styling to put it to white and it appears white there but not when i launch it. Is there any way I can keep this to white on a web browser?

When I am trying to edit an HTML file having latin and Arabic text I stuck with the Arabic text, I can select it while I am installing the Middle Eastern version of Dreamweaver cc 2017.The Video I have made show you that some time I can select the Arabic words in individual manner and some other time I couldn't while I can do that in latin text smoothly and easily.see scrrencast of the bugIt seems to me that Dreamweaver never detect the text written in non-latin text and deal with it as one block.
Hello,with my older DW I entered & and got - no matter where - a pulldown menu to select special characters.Now with the newest DW this works not anymore inside PHP code. How do I get it back?Thank youClaus
HelloI created a Nav bar in fireworks Cs4 and inserted it into Dreamweaver Cs4 via Insert>Image Objects>Fireworks Html, but the Nav bar does not appear properly on the page after changing the page name to index.html. I am making E-books (EPUB3) in DW CC 2017.0.1The EPUB standard uses xhtml files, so that's what I am making. I use this heading which is standard, with no DOCTYPE:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="no"?><html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:epub="http://www.idpf.org/2007/ops">This has been working fine until now. But now, probably since the last DW update, it won't display anything in Design view. Only Live view works.This only happens on my laptop (PC). On my desktop PC, Design view still displays just fine after last update.Older versions of DW on my laptop also displays Design view just fine. So it shouldn't be a problem with my code - it ought to be in DW 2017 settings on my laptop. I've been searching and comparing settings between my two PC's, but can't track it down.If I put in a <!DOCTYPE html> the Design view works, as suspected. I have had a website using Dreamweaver CS4 but since my computer was upgraded I am unable to get my working files onto Dreamweaver, or connect to my internet website to get them there. When I open Dreamweaver, none of my files are there -- but I can find them one by one on my desktop when searching, at: C:/Users/User/Desktop/User/Desktop/User/Application%20Data/Adobe/Dreamweaver%20CS4/en_US/Configuration/ServerConnections/(my website address)/ with each of the files names after that.I don't know how to define root files etc. as the help manuals suggest -- it was always just there to use nefore I was upgraded. Any ideas on how I can regain my files, and connect to my remote site to put and get? thanks! Spider
Hey,it's not a very big deal but kind of annoying everytime I see it: Some of my dialog boxes in Dreamweaver but also in Illustrator have a weird glitch with the dropshadow.Here's an exampleThis glitch comes up on both of my machines with different screen configurations, graphics cards and drivers so I think it's not a driver related issue. HiDPI and normal DPI screens make no difference. Windows and Adobe Cloud are with their latest updates.Anybody else seeing this? Any thoughts?Tim
Dear People,I'm building a relatively simple website (www.fregger.com) and only using the basic features of Dreamweaver (I'm on a 30 free trail). I'm trying to set an image in the page.Here's the problemWithin Fregger there are two Folders : Business and ImagesMy page is in Business and my image is in ImagesWith my page (3m blunder.html) loaded in DreamweaverI access "insert image" and locate the image in imagesI select the image and click OKAnd I get a dialogue box with the following messageThis file is outside of the root folder of the site 'Description-Photos'and may not be accessible when you publish the site.Your root folder is:C:\Websites\Groundbreaking\Would you like to copy the file there now?I've tried everything I can think of but nothing displays the image.I cannot understand how my root folder is Groundbreaking. All of my files and web pages are in FreggerIs there any help out there?
Sometimes the html code does not appear in design or live view and vice versa. Regardless of which view I see or if I click on either side id Split view. Does this happen to anyone else? It does not always happen. (Mac Mini O/S Sierra 10.12.2) See illustration:

Running DW CC 2017 version.In code / split viewLooking at code, If I right click on the code I get a context menu at the end of which isCode Hint Tools from there are three options Color Picker / URL Browser / Font listWhat are they for? Same as others. I can connect with filezilla with same parameters. I was able to connect 2 days ago with same setup. I redid the site server from scratch same results. Error box indicated I need proxy. We don't have a proxy. I've tried with firewall off, passive checked or unchecked, no diff. Now a different user connected after me yesterday, so something could have changed but what? Filezilla still works.FTP log has nothing/empty. Wireshark shows connection with a Request followed with a short Response from server. Then nothing more. Filezilla has Request/Response repeated many times.(CS6 Version 12.0)
Hi, I have been doing some research on how I would create a login page with Dreamweaver 2017 as I wanted to create a practice page to make sure I understood the principles and that I was securing my pages and databases correctly before moving to a production environment. I have found many tutorial online (including some wrote officially by adobe) but they all seem to be out of date as they are all talking about "server behaviours" which was depreciated when Dreamweaver CC was released and is no longer included with Dreamweaver.I really want to create a proper login page that uses a web-form connected to a MySQL database. I know how to create the database and I know how to layout the form. What I don't know how to do is make the form work with the database and as previously mentioned all tutorials that I have found (including official adobe ones) are talking about server behaviours which is not helpful to me at all since I am using the CC 2017 version of dreamweaver.I

After much deliberation I have decided to produce this as a mini-website specifically designed for display on a tablet. Having not built a website in nearly 10 years, I am now learning HTML5 coding via Dreamweaver CC 2015The site/presentation is pretty straightforward: about 30 pages with basic animations, video, slideshow and scrolling text.The thing I’m bamboozled by is actually getting it onto the tablet, which will be an iPad in this case. I know I could load it to a website and then simply have the iPad hook up to that but the thing is, if the web connection goes down (or runs slowly) our sales rep will have nothing to show the customer. In the old dreamweaver before I updated to 2017 version, when I completed my layout, I hit F12 and it showed in my browser where I could crosscheck myself before I go live on my page on a web page. With this new version, there isn't away to do with short cut except I have to go to File > real time preview and it gives me a numeric URL, when I click on the links to check all of them, it says page not found. What did I do wrong? My links are good. Can someone help? What wrong with the F12 short cut and I can doublecheck....[Moved from non-technical Forum Lounge to specific Program forum... Hi anyone reading this,I'm a very new person to code so please go easy on me I making this site for university using a bootstrap template, I opened it in mobile and the page implodes.I realise now that i haven't been using the code of bootstrap at all and i've been fighting it with my own bad code and i'm in rather a mess.As you can see most of my page is made of of side by side boxes, currently these boxes squish into each other as i resize my page (and the text overflows).What I want is side by side boxes (column of 6 width each) and a height to them that means they will always behave like a ridged square so text isn't impaired. As soon as both boxes can be contained I would like the boxes to go underneath each other. How do i do this. I'm gonna be up all night working so please help however you can and try to dumb it down for me cuz ive been doing this for like two weeks.I understand that the code is bad in many other places but I can fix the most of that.This is the site btw, I kno
