My clients website has a [removed by moderator] website of a football related news website, he has the issue with PDF file of Adobe because he can't upload PDF files to his websites, why this issue is happening with his website,Any solution will be appreciated.

I am concerned that these links might break once the site goes live. Right now I'm using an IP address to create and manage the site.  I have tried removing the path from the site settings for the web address and use only the IP address, but I left the root path in the root area of settings.  I have also tried relative to document settings in the site, but the result is the same.  When shorten the path to /art/01/Home.... etc.  the image is not visible in DW but shows a missing image, although the image is there relative to root.  Is there any way to fix this issue? 

EDITED TO ADD: Two days later, inexplicably, the panel on the second screen stayed on the second screen. There had been no hardware or software changes, no driver updates. But now it works as expected. Hmm. Edited AGAIN to note that the panel on the second monitor no longer appears on the second monitor. Adobe is just "funning" with me, eh? Minor annoyance. Not resolved. After buying a new computer, I'm having a small problem with Dreamweaver. Two monitors are attached to the computer and I have placed one of Dreamweaver's windows (Assets, Snippets, Insert, and a few other items) on the second monitor. I defined a new workspace with this arrangement, but when I open Dreamweaver, the panel that should be on the second monitor is back on the primary monitor. Also, if I choose another workspace and then switch back to my preferred workspace, the panel returns to the primary monitor. This worked properly on my old computer. Okay, So I am using the latest version of DW and I think it has a memory leak problem or something.  I am experience frequent crashes about after 1 hour of use.  Then when I restart DW, all the links in the menu systems are taking up to 30 seconds to respond to a click. For example, it isn't willing to shift from Live  split view to Design view and Live view seems to be default. I'm on Mac Pro 2013  OS 12.3, but was also happening with earlier versions of Monterey. Is there a way to default to open in design mode instead of live?

Is there any way in Dreamweaver to see how far along the program is when uploading the entire site?I have a site with 4,900+pages, plus ancillary files and it TAKES FOREVER! It would be nice to be able to see how far along the upload process is, either as a percentage or as x files of y total.

HiCould you please consider changing the color of either Adobe XD or Adobe Dreamviewer in their app icons. Working with them daily but they look to much alike that I often opens the wrong program.  Thanks. 

I am using DW21.1 on a Mac running OS12.2.1 (Monterrey). Hosting is by Namecheap.DW tells me I am connecting successfully to the remote server, but when I try to upload a file the background file information window tells me "--same--not tranferred"I saw on a Namecheap help forum that they use Linux servers, so I wonder if that has anything to do with it.My tech level is pretty minimal. Any suggestions?

Hi all,  I have a question that the answer will make life loads easier for myself and others. I'm hoping there is a way to link images in bulk in Dreamweaver.We're building emails with sliced images saved for web from photoshop, the HTML is then opened in Dreamweaver and we copy and paste individual links to their image slice one at a time from an excel spreadsheet (200+ images with a link each).Is there a way that we can possibly add links in bulk to these consective images using a CSV file or something similar?Say I setup the spreadsheet to have all the links matching the order of the images, and then importing that data to attach the first link in the spreadsheet to the first image in dreamweaver, and so on.Is this possible in some capacity? Or am I completely dreaming here.Thanks in advance!!

Every time I need to make a change to an existing site, I need to re-enter the credentials for the FTP settings. When I quit the app. I loose them again! It’s so frustrating that I don’t want to use Dreamweaver to edit my sites anymore. Anyone run across this?

Hi Guys,I wanted to get some opinons about using the Import statement.  I'm not a wiz at web page development.  I've had training in college and I understand the basic concepts and ideas.  I don't seem to have a real knack for building a page from scratch.  I'm more comfotable working from thrid party templates and modifying or tweaking them.  I've been working with a third party template and making modifications to it.  As I've been working with the template I've noticed certain aspects in the design that corespond to certain aspects of software development.  The template uses a few different CSS files that I would consider to be Presentation Layer elements.   They control the final look and feel of the page. Names like Primary Secondary Minimized and Magazine.  There are also other CSS files being used within the template.   I would consider these CSS files to be secondary CSS files which focus in on a specific aspect of the

I have the same issue, it started about a week ago! Some weeks ago, uploading sometimes got stuck, and I found that when I clicked cancel and started again, it worked fine, but not anymore. Trying to sync is completely useless because it takes too long. Uploading and downloading can still at times be done with some luck. I use a Mac laptop. Never had any problems before. I work on three websites only, for two or three hours a day. I tried going back to an earlier version of DW, but that didn't help. I would really love things to go back to normal again as this is really frustrating!

Why is Dreamweaver use old, out of cycle php versions ? See version life cycles The versions I can choose, 5.6 or 7.1 are already are past their End-Of_life support:5.6 is long dead and gone for many years7.1 has been dead since Jan 1, 2020 with no updates or security fixes since...Can we get more updated to 8.1 ?  

I am really frustrated with DW. I have had it freeze three times in the last month and have to be force quit on my Mac Pro 2013 with plenty of memory.  Each time when it reopens, it goes into a spinning beach ball of death. And I have to delete all preferences.   THEN I have to reinstall ALL MY EXTENSIONS. Which takes me 1/2 a day.   The only reason I continue to use DW is for the plugins.  I don't know why it is so unstable but this is getting absolutely ridiculous.  I have the latest Mac OS, the current DW.  This time it froze when I tried to change a site from relative to root.   I can't afford this downtime and still make a living.   

It would be convenient to have the three toolbars docked together on one horizontal line to save screen real estate. They could have a visual separation, similar to the way panel groups are stacked in Illustrator. An alternative would be to enhance the Customize Toolbar window, allowing items from the Standard and Document toolbars to be added to the Common toolbar.  

 Too many bugs. Some have been present for ages and some will waste you considerable time in your development. If my developer team works like those of Adobe, I would fire them without hesitation.And it's not for lack of reporting them and even addressing them with some members of your customer service team....still wasted time !I have wasted enough time with this counter-production tool. So far, I hadn't had time to find a replacement solution but today it's done. My company uses several Adobe accounts for our various departments (video, sound and webservice), but I no longer want to work with you. When Adobe replaces its developer team, and when its customer service can clearly meet your customers' needs, I think I'll hear about it and maybe get back to you. In the meantime, I'm trying my hand at competition and cutting off all my Adobe subscriptions and access to bank accounts.Regards

Been struggling with an problem lately when using Dreamweaver 2021 FTP client on a MacPro (2019) running Big Sur 11.6.2. After "Synchronizing" or "Putting" an html file using the Files window the file size refreshes to 0KB on the server side. When displayed in a browser it shows nothing and view source shows no code. The following has been tried with no change:Remove and reinstall DW via Creative Cloud app and reinstalled.Remove DW via CS5 Cleaner Tool and reinstalled.Completely deleted site in Manage Sites and re-added.Checked and double checked all settings with co-workers problem free set-up.Worked with office network team to check file is passing thru firewall successfully (it is).Created and tested new ftp credentials.Called Adobe tech support twice. Stand alone FTP client (Transmit) works fine. Any other suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Is there a way in deamweaver to format scss - just to tidy my messy files up and make them more readable? At the moment I am having to resoirt to copying my scss out of Dreamweaver and into Codepen to format it.

Dreamweaver opening full screen after 2018 upgrade. This is annoying. 2017 opened the last size used. Why does Adobe do this to us? this happened in 2015 but they fixed it.Now its broken again.Am I missing something?I'm on a Mac running El Capitan

I wonder if anyone on here can help me, I recently booted up my copy of DW8 as I want to build a site for some friends but the Property Inspector (the thing on the bottom of the screen for text sizes, etc) acts like it's full of iFrames, it's set as three parts with scrollbars and not easy to read (I've attached a screengrab).Any ideas on how to get it back to it's normal easy-to-use state please?
