I am going to migrate from Device lic. to Shared device licenses soon. I am confused with the uninstall part of the process, Is the uninstall in the Adobe console or do I use my previous 2018 package to uninstall? I am uninstalling the 2018 CC right? Can I keep any older versions? I need to uninstall before I make a packager for the new shared devices 2019 right?
I am the Tech Director for United Nations International School of Hanoi. Adobe in Asia Pac has decided that UNIS Hanoi will have to pay USD 122,600 annually for 500 licenses. We are currently paying USD 12,500 annually for 500 licenses. According to the Adobe website if UNIS Hanoi was a US based school we would pay USD 2500 for the same block of 500 licenses. I can't believe that anyone in Adobe Corporate believes that the United Nations International School of Hanoi should have to incur a nearly 900% increase in the cost of licenses in order to continue using your product to educate our students. Does anyone in corporate Adobe have an explanation for this behavior? Regards,Edward L GilbreathTech Director United Nations International School Hanoi.
A serialized product, as installed from a deployment package you create with Creative Cloud Packager, is uniquely identified by a licensing identifier (LEID). For example, if the product name is Photoshop CS6 Extended, and it is installed in Mac OS, the LEID is Photoshop-CS6-Mac-GM.See this article for the list of the LEIDs for products in Creative Cloud. If you have a question or observation, post a comment below.
Hi,We are going down the path of packaging and deploying the Creative Cloud desktop app and allowing the users to download and install their own Adobe Products. Now our deployment tool is SCCM and ideally we want all applications to be available via the Software Center. Is it possible to install the Creative Cloud desktop application then script the installation of different available adobe products? As in trigger the same method if the user clicks on the Install button in the Desktop App.This way I could make that commandline available in the software center and we can have a single point for application installs.[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved from generic Cloud/Setup forum to the Deployment forum... Hello,I'm trying to sequence Acrobat Reader DC with AppV 5.1I followed the deploiment guide : https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/VirtualizationGuide/appvreaderDC.htmlEverything seems to works well, I put my package on my app-v server, publish it in global mode and when I try to open the app : it keeps crashing.I found some tips on technet forum asking to disable arm service (https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/f4358ecb-72ad-4cfa-9498-8d7009db3d7b/error-when-starting-adobe-reader-11-appv-package?forum=mdopappv ) but I got the same issue. After checking the Event log I don't understand how to fix the issue (error log at the end of the post)Anyone got some idea ?Thanks,Nicolas.Error log :Version=1EventType=APPCRASHEventTime=131975520859165403ReportType=2Consent=1UploadTime=131975520861352968ReportIdentifier=b56b6252-4afc-11e9-928d-0050568c2d89IntegratorReportIdentifier=bfedc071-f6bc-4f64-bfcc-2b21ee92db5bWOW64=1NsAppName=AcroRd32.exeAppSessionGuid=0000
I have run the latest version of the adobe acrobat reader in my company. However, there is a lot of speed reduction. After checking the internal logs, it is suspected that you are controlling connections at ardownload.adobe.com.Our company's official IP uses 203.244.197.0/24, 203.244.212.0/24.If you have control over access to the server, ask for it to be released.
I guess they are tired of waiting for everyone to drink the koolaid, so I guess forget the December deadline: "IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you have not yet updated to the latest version of Creative Cloud, please note that you are no longer licensed to use certain older versions of the apps or to deploy packages containing these older versions. Your organization should discontinue usage of the unauthorized products shown at this link and update to the authorized versions. Instructions are provided at the same link."
We have a 100 device license for Creative Cloud that does not expire until July 2019. Today I updated to the latest versions of the apps which appear to be 2019 versions, and now all the apps say 'Start Trial' and if opened, prompt me that I have 7 days. What the heck is going on? I would contact Adobe Support directly but frankly I had to do that earlier this summer when they failed to update our account when we renewed and all the apps stopped working...and it took them about a month to fix it and then never even contacted me to tell me it was fixed - so no faith there.
Previous version on CC Packager fails on a MacBook. Deleted the OOBE and other recommended files and folders, but still getting "Oops something has gone wrong, please try again." I've downloaded the most recent version of the packager today and I am still getting the same error. Any ideas for a next step?
Hello. Our enterprise account admin has left the company, leaving us with no way to make changes to our account.I would like to assume admin for the account, but can't sign in to do so because -- well, I'm not the current admin and don't have those privileges.I started an email thread with support that seems to have died. Can someone at Adobe help me move this forward? Thank you.
Good morning. I’ve bought a license in creative cloud about acrobat.I’ve download the trial version but at app opening it ask for serial (even I’ve login in to my adobe account). It doesn’t happen with other app. What can I do to solve this issue?
I am working in an environment with about 1300 systems with a variety of adobe products being deployed one of which is the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2018.009.20050.I was tasked with finding a way to disable Protected Mode\View as it is causing an issue with our users and their older PDFs.Through most of my research everything points to how to do it in the gui and some antiquated registry keys for 2015 version. After a great deal of time vested in what seems to be a dead end I am here to ask if there is a registry key I can deploy using GPO in order to turn "OFF" Protected view :Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2018.009.20050?Something strange is that I also notice that there was supposed to be a check box for "Enable Protected mode at startup" on the Security [Enhanced] section. It seems to be removed from the 2018 version or could it be due to a customization wizard. Here is a link to what I thought it was supposed to look like with the check box in place. http://www.ctimls.com/Support/
Since Friday 4/21/17, I've been trying to do a fresh and incremental update with AUSST using two different computers, one PC and one Mac. I keep getting the same error when running AUSST "Received an error code 9 while processing for Acrobat." Is anyone else experiencing this change of functionality?Having always been able to add or remove team members on a monthly basis we can no longer do that and in attempting to were told by Adobe that all team members are now 1 year contracts 'billed monthly' and we'd have to pay 50% of that 1 year subscription fee to remove a user! The whole thing that was good about creative cloud for teams was the ability to expand and contract licenses as needed.Even more annoying is that Adobe support outright lied to us and said that has never been possible. Well we've been doing it for a long time adobe. (I know this isn't where to talk to adobe support I just want to know if this is happening to everyone as it's pretty big deal)
We have included Adobe Acrobat DC Standard 2015 in our Windows 10 image. We get prompted for sign-in after imaging a new PC. If we do a single install of the software, we do not. We built our package using the Adobe Customization Wizard. Is there a way to have it in our image and not get the sign-in prompt?
Hi All,We are currently using Microsoft Azure Information Protection (AIP) Data Classification product for classifying our documents.I would like to ask is it possible that when I click on the 'Internal' Classification label button that it inserts the word 'Internal' in the footer of the PDF file.Currently this works for Microsoft Word, but was unsure if this feature is available in PDF. Please assist.Thanks.
Hi Team,Suddenly I lost my Subscription and after reactivating from the admin team I lost all my published links, files, libraries in Creative Cloud. But those who had the same issue are able to retain their files. !
Hi,I need to retrieve the product keys form the computers before wipe and upgrade them to Win 10. No one in my team seems to have any record of it. How can I retrieve them?
So has anyone figured out an easy way to block updates without modifying the install packages and reinstalling it on every machine? The only thing I can find is this: Disable auto-updates in Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Creative Suite 6 apps which still required you to modify a FILE on every machine! This is absurd and so frustrating. Is there a simple registry key I can push out??
HiWe are looking at setting the 3rd Part Patching on SCCM and are looking for any Adobe Catalogs that are available.I have found this page and have tried the Reader DC Continuous Track options but some of the URL's are not HTTPS and the Transition link has an expired cert SCCM-SCUP — Enterprise Administration Guide Is there an updated list of Catalog's anywhere?ThanksSimon
