I would like to be able to “replace footage” with anything from within premiere thus having ‘footage be more abstract’. Current Limitations: Replace footage only applies to footage on disk. Improvements: Replace footage with anything already imported. It should just become a reference and behave similar to ‘replace with Clip from Bin’ but on a project level. I would like to be able to swap anything with anything within the project window: ie. Source footage with a sequence, subclip, AE project, imported image etc. and vice versa. A piece of ‘footage’ should become more abstract. Maybe all footage should get an additional ‘container’ with a basic timeline where you can manually drag in a new source and handle the duration etc. ‘Footage’ then can never be used in timelines directly only through the ‘containers’. Your edit is then totally independent from your source footage and you can swap the actual footage in the container and modify it if needed. This allows you to macro manage you
Often a feature in DAWs, it would be nice to be able to hold a modifer key (control, shift, alt/option, command/windows key etc), and left mouse click on a solo, mute, visibility or track target on timeline, and have just the one button be exclusively selected. So if 4 tracks are already soloed or muted, modify key+left click to solo just that specific track. This allows you to quickly switch soloing and track targeting to one track with one click rather than having to shift click, deselct all, and then click agin to select just the track you need. This is useful if you have multiple audio or video track layers and just want to solo a specific track quickly with one click. Of course all of the above can be applied to track targetting, muting and the visibility button (for video). This would save a lot of time and clicking when comparing tracks for take selection or to check a specific track in isolation.
I often find myself needing to sync multiple (20+) shorter clips to a longer clip, and currently I have to manually put the video clips onto separate channels, as well as the audio onto individual channels, then the sync is possible. This takes a very long time, and is very frustrating having to resize the timeline window to accommodate it all.
*feature request*Blackmagic announced support for drag and drop .af files into DaVinci Resolve, including access to individual layers via “Split Layers into Place” in Fusion. Much like the way Resolves supports .psd files. I’m receiving more and more affinity files. Would be good if Ae and Pr supported .af natively too. Now I need to open the .af in Affinity and use the save as psd option.
While we are able to option/alt-click a marker and drag to give it a duration, it would be a bit quicker to have a keyboard shortcut that would convert an in and out selection to a marker with that duration. And also, to be able to right click a marker duration and have the option to mark that as an in and out selection.
We use Premiere as part of a newsroom workflow with Mimir. The two function very well together except in one area, rendered effects and HEVC/HEIC/HEIF formats. When directly uploading to Mimir from a Premiere sequence, any video or pictures in high efficiency formats will display an error message when being broadcast. The same is true for effects like warp stabilizer and other effects needing rendering. My idea is to allow a user to select “render in place and create new video clip” or something to that effect. It would allow a user to render the effect or high-efficiency clip and replace it with a user-selected video format and replace it on the timeline. The only way we can guarantee a rendered effect or high-efficiency clip will play correctly is to export the sequence to a local drive and then upload to Mimir.I think many users will find this feature beneficial.Feel free to ask any questions about workflow or any other needed information.
Description: As a professional editor in television production, I often work on projects involving footage shot in varying frame rates (e.g., 24p, 30p, and 60p....ect). While I appreciate Premiere Pro's existing tools like Frame Rate Interpretation and Optical Flow, managing mixed frame rates within a single timeline can be time-consuming and requires extensive manual adjustments, particularly with high-motion footage such as drone or action camera clips. --- Problem: When footage with mismatched frame rates is added to a timeline, the current workflow requires manual interpretation, time interpolation settings, and trial-and-error testing to ensure smooth playback and motion consistency. This process can result in judder or artifacts, especially with motion-heavy clips, and takes time to resolve. --- Proposed Solution: Introduce a Smart Frame Rate Handling Tool that automates and streamlines this process. Key features could include: 1. Automatic Detection and Prompt: When impor
Can we have the ability of pining the text layer to a tracked mask (Unassigned Masks) so the text can move along with the tracked mask.Or you give us the ability to track features on the screen and review them at [Tracking Panel] so you can link them to any layers (transform) text or clip.Linking any transform (text or clip) to any tracked feature on the timeline.
Hi There, can you please put back the Essential Graphics panel in Adobe Premiere Pro 2026 Thanks Kevin
I am a professional editor and I need Premiere Pro to support the Greek language for automatic transcription and captions. Currently, Greek is missing from the language packs, forcing us to use third-party tools or manual work. Please prioritize adding Greek to the supported languages for Speech-to-Text in Premiere Pro 2025. It is a vital feature for the Greek creator community.
Integrate a real useful AI-tool to Premiere Pro (and other softwares like After Effects) - Add an AI-prompt tool that responds to all functions and commands in Premiere Pro. For example you can type “Add a Gaussian Blur to all the clips in the timeline with the blur level of 50”. Think of all the possibilities and effective workflow this could contribute to!(And while we’re at it - integrate an AI-optical flow that competes with DaVinci Resolves optical flow)
The enhancement from (formerly Project Shasta) Adobe Podcast is AMAZING. It transforms (most) bad audio into professional sounding audio and professional audio into beautifully-curated EQ'd and Compressed, pristine audio. If you haven't tried it first-hand, you MUST give it a shot. It could make you a believer. The good: For single-channel, vocal driven audio, there is literally nothing that sounds better to me. The bad: 1. I have to export a Raw Waveform and submit it to the website. 2. I have to wait for the file to process. 3. If there are any anomalies that created unwanted compression/limiting/EQ, I have to keyframe the audio's gain in those parts and rinse and repeat until I get the result I want. 4. There are NO parameters to fiddle with, but the end result is usually 99% perfection, I kind of don't care: it is quickly becoming part of my editing workflow on every project. The hope: Whether the process could live locally on Premiere or
It would be great to assign a Keyboard Shortcut to delete all Essential Sound Audio Tags from all selected clips at once. Right now deleting all tags from a couple of clips is many steps because you have to do this independently for each category. The reason is that Premiere can auto detect the correct label but it cannot detect Ambience very well. So I would delete the Tag from a couple of Music, Dialog and SFX-Clips on my Ambient-Track in order to quickly tag them all as Ambience-Clips in one step.
Subject: Feature Request: High-Priority Audio Workflow Improvements & Multicam EfficiencyDear Adobe Premiere Pro Development Team,I am a professional video director and producer. While I follow Adobe’s AI advancements with interest, I would like to request several practical updates that are crucial for high-end production environments. If implementing complex AI features like "Multicam SmartSwitch" (as seen in DaVinci Resolve) is not feasible in the immediate future, I strongly urge you to prioritize the following audio and source management improvements:1. Seamless Multi-track Audio Support in Multicam ClipsCurrently, managing numerous audio tracks within a multicam clip is highly inefficient. Please update the system so that a large number of external audio tracks can be bundled with video into a single multiclip. It is technically counterintuitive that audio and video remain disconnected when using 'Match Frame' during multicam editing. We need a unified structure where audio
Hello Adobe Team,I wanted to share some feedback regarding the upcoming Premiere Pro update and the new Color Panel changes.I noticed that in the beta version, the Lumetri Color panel seems to have been removed or replaced. I would strongly like to request that the Lumetri Color panel remains available in future updates. For many editors, including myself, Lumetri is a core part of the workflow. It is fast, familiar, and highly efficient for color correction and grading, especially in professional editing environments where speed matters. While I appreciate the new features and improvements, removing Lumetri could significantly disrupt established workflows for many users who rely on it daily. Please consider keeping the Lumetri Color panel as an option alongside the new Color Panel, so users can choose the workflow that best fits their editing style.Thank you for continuously improving Premiere Pro.
I have just tested the new Object mask from Premiere in After Effects. And I have a question - why is the AE-variant so much better than its original baby from Premiere?I mean you have thought it through and added not only the standard Object mask tracking but also a means to properly correct the mask. I mean these guys:I’ll explain.A Premiere Object mask workflow is this:You select a clip You click on the object mask and get an AI-selection If you want to exclude something from this selection you use the negative mask. But there’s a problem with it - it’s AI too and it often does not deselect what you need to be deselected. Here’s an example:Premiere 26.2, Object mask selected the bridge stand AND the wires. Whatever you do next you will NEVER deselect the wire here:In after effects you have a selection brush tool which works as a brush and it does work in such situations - you draw a negative mask and the selection is gone: So my feature request is adding at least the brush tool to Pr
Great it is, the sequence index misses several essential features that the community has asked for ages.Show black frames or gaps (including the end ones, when you place the playhead at the end of the last element and hit O to select everything to the playhead - it always includes 1 black frame at the end):Show unfinalized effects like Warp Stabilizer not analyzed, an object mask added but not assigned to a single property or effect: Duplicates of the same effects on the same clip\adj layer\nest: Texts having gone past the text layer frame due to the font scale or type:Effects or transitions that have the worst impact on the software performance, i.e. make the timeline red (in huge timelines with many nests and multitrack layer constructions it is often really hard to tell what worsens the performance):
I would like to be able to change the font and font size across the board in the interface. it is WAY to small for my old eyes
Please add option to have all red/yellow line sections render in the background to green! Thank you...
I want to put in a request as I just saw that the linear wipe effect has now been labeled “legacy” which i’m assuming means that it will no longer be updated and will eventually be removed. I often use this effect as a way to crop a slightly out-of-level video clip to a precise percentage in order to create completely vertical and horizontal elements in my videos. I understand that there is the native crop option, but there is no way to change the angle of each side of the crop so this does not work. I also understand that I could use an opacity mask but this method seems cumbersome. Not sure if anyone else uses the linear wipe effect this way, but it has been a huge help to me.
era muito mais fácil, intuitivo, e funcional o antigo
Dear Premiere Pro Team,Let’s be honest—it's time to catch up with the competition and bring Premiere Pro to the forefront of AI-powered video editing. While some recently introduced features may seem trendy from a marketing standpoint, they don’t always reflect the actual needs of working editors who spend hours in front of the timeline. One truly useful and long-requested feature is an AI Video Upscaler. This would allow users to upscale lower-resolution footage to higher resolutions with intelligent detail enhancement—something that is already being done effectively in tools like DaVinci Resolve. Please consider implementing AI-based upscaling in future versions of Premiere Pro. I’m confident that millions of users around the world would greatly appreciate such a practical and powerful improvement.Best regards,Paul Styler
The ability to copy the text from the 'resolve fonts' dialogue, the missing footage / relink media dialogue and missing effects. dialogue. Both Premiere and AE.Very useful for communicating/requesting with other team members or copying to search for fonts etc..
It should be able to arrange the Highlights in Color Management, big difference between Exposure and Hightlights.
