I used labels in my stringout to differentiate between topics, which was really helpful. But now that I'm moving into my next edit, I want to be able to remove those color classifications. I've never worked with an add-on feature that didn't allow you to remove it once added. The option to remove this label would add a lot of flexibility to people's workflows and I've seen it posted one external boards as well.
It would be great if timelines created from source material, would be auto named 'Timeline 1' instead of the name of the first clip.As a video teacher, this would help me to explain my students what timelines are, and make it much more easy to identify them inside the bin structure. Now, my new students don't really understand the difference in source material vs. timelines.Idealy (as with Media Composer), Premiere Pro would also prompt the user in what bin the timeline should be saved. This could make it easier to structurize the project, and understand what timelines are. Also, people would find there timelines much faster, as they are not named as source material, and stored where the source material is stored (ex. raw video bin)
Please allow for an option to close all the "Audio clip effect editor" windows, so they don't keep poping up open every time I select a clip in the timeline. This is either a persistent bug or a lack of design sensitivity. Sure, it helps having the windows open automatically when you are editing audio, but just as it can save time having them open automatically, it's also a waste of time having to close them one by one.As it is now, if you don't have multiple monitors, you are always obstructing something else.Maybe the windows could be stacked like all other windows.Or maybe it can be an option in the "Window" pull-down menu at the top of the screen. Please fix this.
In the effect option panel, a selected clip/element will remain 'active' with name listed at the top of the panel, and it's parameters accessible (position, scale, etc). However if some other part of the interface is used before coming back to the effect option panel, the clip is still listed as active, with parameters still displayed blue, but are effectively 'locked', unless the element is selected again in the sequence timeline. This should not be the case. If the parameters are clearly displayed and blue, they should always modify the corresponding clip, whether the clip has been re-selected or not, since there is no confusion as to what is being modified within the effect panel itself. This is confusing at the very least, if not cumbersome and un user-friendly. And should be fixed. The transcription page also has some form of this bug. When ever a change is made within the panel, the sequence needs to have it's timeline panel highlighted again by clicking within it, between EVERY CHA
I'd like to convert a Premiere Pro project into a team project without loosing all after effects compositions. Currently, the feature is unusable for me.
When creating a new destination in the export window can it not be sequence specific but at least project specific and even better user specific. I would to set up multiple destinations and see those destinations in all my projects
it is not often useful to only have 1 master destination set for Ingest transcodes
As said before, like the new workflow a lot but a feature request - if there's any way to add some formatting (italics would be first on my list) when exporting in 608/708 it would go a long way for broadcast viewers!
Hi - I've brought this up to an Adobe tech service rep who said he'd push this to the devs and I haven't heard anything so I'm posting it publicly:Using the new transcriber to CC generation workflow is great; I like it a lot. However, when they're generated, the background behind the captions are translucent and as a broadcaster they should be opaque by default. If it could be fixed where it's opaque by default OR a user able to change it in preferences I'd be very grateful.
Select clips, his "Auto" and it's done would be so much faster than having to select each clip then hit auto. Can't be hard to implement either.
When creating proxies if we create one batch of 60fps and then one with 24fps (using a 24fps ingest) it will create the proxies at 60fps. This error started after updating to 2023.
The export options for the transcript only allow you to have the text with the relevant timestamps. What I usually need is the full text readout of the transcript without timestamps to be made available so we may be have that as a supplementary document with our videos however it proves difficult to do so with the current tools unless going through extensive manual editing. Thanks!
most of us use to Dubble click in bin to import anything, but when bin is full we are unable to find empty space for dubble click. I personally want import button in bin tab to quickly click on it and get to the files in PC.
There should be an option that the tech developers should work on to where you can copy all the captions at once and stretch them if need beIts really a hindrance to the workflow, some people like to read the captions fully without it disappearing like that. Because right now you will have to stretch every caption manually, but if there is a way to stretch the captions to fill everything automatically, that would be great
I caption a lot of video that I have the script for, so its just a matter of timing the text. Due to the way you have to activate the textbox in the Captions panel, you can't paste straight away after creating a new "caption clip" with the current shortcut (I have it mapped to Shift+C).It would be very usefull if you could add a caption with the text on the clipboard already prefilled.
Audio effect that displays the audio clip names burned into the export, same as the video effect, but just for audio.
Add Lamétri color before a stack not only at the end of the stack. Give me the option to add new Lumetri color at the beginning of the stack.
Premiere Pro supports the AMD Radeon PRO W6800 for hardware acceleration on Windows OpenCL, but it does not support it on Mac Metal. It *does* support the W6800X Duo on Mac Metal, as that version ships with Mac Pros, but it does not support the standalone version, which you need to use if you are on a MacBook + eGPU setup.
This pertains to the Helpx website (you should really have an issue category for this). On this page: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/system-requirements.html, the link "Supported graphics cards for Adobe Premiere Pro" does not go anywhere. It links back to itself. This is because it incorrectly targets the page fragment "#gpu-acceleration" when it should be targeting "#graphics-cards"
I am using Pr Version 23.0.0 to produce files to use in Encore and the result was terrible. I can produce a H.264 file that is perfect. Going back to the Export function when I changed the Format from H.264 to MPG2-DVD the picture on the Export screen got blurry and the video it produces is also blurry. The workaround for this project was to export an MP4 file on Pr V23, reinstall Pr V22 and produce the DVD files using Pr V22. Until Pr V23 is fixed I will have to build and edit projects on Pr V22 and produce DVD files there.
Lut's are not picked up from PrPro v.23 when using the clip replacement function in AE. When opening a project, AE asks to specify Lut's and does not apply them to the clip to which the color correction was made in PrPro. Fix it
There is a bug in the current version of Premiere (23.0.0, but was also in the immediately preceding version) where doing a search of a generated transcript causes the Transcript window to jump to the Source Window, but only if a clip is loaded. Closing all clips in the Source Window stops this behavior. Also, there is a routine bug where a search of the Transcript window will not jump the playhead when clicking in the transcript. This requires a re-load of the project to fix.
I dont know how to exactly explain this, but Since I installed this new version everytime I try to re-edit text or make any adjustment on text already withen on the timeline, everytime i click on it, the mark used to appear exactly where i clicked, but now, everytime i click on text to re-edit it the mark always starts at the end of the phrase instead of where i need to make adjuntments, and even if i click directly again on the spot i want to edit, it doesnt move the mark, so i need to scroll with the keyboard arrows to the spot i need to edit, this is very frustrating and time consuming, this was never an issue until now
When navigating through a sequence, I often use the Go To Next Marker command. However, I often have many clips with markers. I use those markers to create subclips, and don't need them included when navigating within a sequence. I would love to have the option to have a Go To Next/Previous Sequence Marker that would ignore clip markers. Alternatively, I'd be fine with a method that turn off clip markers in a similar fashion to the marker color filter so that the regular Go To Next Marker disregards any clip markers.
