In Premiere Pro, when exporting a video and typing a new file name, the text box is so small. I can barely see the "." right before the mp4 extension. Is there a way to make that bigger? Or have an option to make it bigger? It was perfect before the last couple of updates. Thanks!
When are we going to get .jxl file support? I edit and export my HDR content in Lightroom but then can't import them into Premeire for a slideshow??
For Frame IO users.1. Video Editor transcribes a video using Premiere.2. Video is uploaded to Frame IO for review. The Premiere created transcript is also included.3. Frame IO reviewer reviews video AND transcript along side of each other in a Frame IO panel.4. Frame IO user makes corrections to spelling and punctuation inside the Frame IO transcript 5. Video editor can download and import the corrected transcript.6. Video created subtitles and captions with the corrected transcript from the Frame IO user.
I'd like to add the ability to continue working while sequences get rendered within Premiere Pro. Rendering would remain user initiated, and NEVER occur automatically. However, once a user initiates a render, we would be able to continue working. I imagine a new Render window along with the Project, Media Browser, Effects, Info, etc., where we could see the status of all initiated renders; pause, resume and cancel them; rearrange their order, etc.
It would be very helpful if you could enable multi track display for captions. Alternatively if it is only possible to display one caption track at a time have caption subtracks/child tracks that can be individually styled differently from the parent track. If that is not a possible at least a feature to apply caption styles to individual caption blocks rather than entire tracks to achieve the above described functionality. This could be immensly benifficial and save a tone of time and error captioning multiple speakers that step over each other, instead of having to style each caption track, often repetitively, individually, the user could style multiple blocks at the same time applying saved styles with one click to each track or a group of selected caption blocks.
This used to be super easy to do back in the day in Final Cut Pro 3! It has always bugged me that I cannot simply press a modifier key and lasso over a bunch of clips on my timeline. Look at the image below. There are no gaps between the clips. So if I wanted to select ONLY the video or audio clips on V1 or A1 I would have to manually click on each clip one by one!!! I cannot simply lasso over the clips that are on the "inner" tracks. This becomes an incredibly annoying issue when I'm doing audio mixing. For example, if looking at the attached image, there are a few things I would want to do in this case. First, I want to select all the camera audio which is on A1 and disable those. I do not want to delete them, I still need them for later. Well, I can't do that because there is no empty space around those clips. Then I would want to select all the audio on A2 and bump it up. Again, cannot do that. Then, I will want to select all the audio on A3 to match it with the audi
In the previous version of Premiere Pro, I was able to add multiple captions and make them visible in order to have English/Spanish on screen. But in the latest version (Version 15.0.0) only one track of captioning is available. This makes it hard for those of us who are working on making our videos accessible to multiple audiences. Please bring back the ability to have multiple tracks of captioning visible at the same time.
Currently, only 'Comments Markers' have their 'Comments' field visible within the Marker window; Chapter/Segmentation/Web Link-type Markers have their 'Comments' field hidden within the Marker window, even when those fields have existing data. This appears to be intended behavior, according to other posters on these forums , but the official Adobe documentation on this is pretty sparse.I'd love to be able to use different Marker types for automation workflows on my team, such as importing edit sheets directly into relevant sequences but using the Marker 'type' to drive how those Markers are handled by different automations and plugins. But right now, the other users on my team would have to individually click into each Marker in order to read the Comment if it was one of these alternate types. I could jury-rig something similar by adding a "[Chapter]" string at the end or beginning of a Comments field and parsing that somehow, but I'm not currently seeing
I propose to implement an AI Video Denoiser feature that enables users to remove noise from selected video segments directly within the timeline, bypassing the need for external software or plugins. This tool should leverage advanced AI algorithms to deliver superior noise reduction results while maintaining video quality.Justification:Enhanced Quality: Current solutions, like Premiere Pro's VR De-Noise effect, are basic and often produce subpar results. A robust AI-powered denoiser would provide a significant improvement in output quality.Streamlined Workflow: Users can clean up video noise directly in the editing timeline without the hassle of exporting to third-party tools or installing additional plugins.Competitive Advantage: A high-quality denoiser would position the platform as a go-to choice for professional editors who require efficient and effective tools.Wider User Appeal: The feature would cater to both professional videographers and casual creators, addressing a common pai
Can I turn this warning off? I have never even used the feature of Preview Files. And can you please fix this bug? If there are no preview files, then there are none to delete. Steps to reproduce:Create a new projectCreate a new sequence from footage (e.g. a single video file)Change the Frame Size under Sequence > Sequence SettingsGet warning message
In Premiere Pro, it would be incredibly helpful to have the ability to lock both the Properties Panel and the Effects Control Panel to a specific clip, similar to how this functionality works in After Effects. This would allow users to maintain focus on one clip's properties and effects, even while selecting or working on other clips in the timeline.I'm in a situation where I keep having to click on the same clip to adjust its properties. and this would just make sense. This is the feature in After Effects.
Hey Editors and Adobe Officials! I'm a video editor on Premiere Pro & I work a lot with captions, I add captions to sometimes 15-20 min videos, and my clients like the captions done very neatly and properly, I have to thoroughly check all the captions and change their duration sometimes, for example to split sentences if the speaker is taking pauses, or adjust them smoothly to match a new camera angle by delaying changes until just before the angle shifts, and much more. I use ripple trim (Q and W keys), and also Extend edit to playhead (Shift+Q and Shift+W). They both are extremely useful and efficient for my workflow but they do not work in the captions track even after ensuring the caption track is targeted. Ripple trim works on caption track but NOT the "Extend edit to playhead". Sometimes, the start of the caption and speaker are not perfectly synced, and in that case I need to use this feature. I'm not sure if this is a bug, or an un-added feature. Please
PP 24 Build 58 Adobe Immersive Environment is no longer present It has dissapeared from Preferences/Playback menu and from the menu under the wrench icon. I have reinstalled PP 24
Hey everyone, I've recently started using DaVinci Resolve alongside Premiere Pro, and I’ve found a couple of features in Resolve that I really like. One feature I found particularly useful is the ‘Swap Clips’ command, which lets you swap clips to the right or left by simply hitting Cmd + Shift and either . or ,. It’s incredibly efficient for quickly rearranging clips on the timeline.I’m wondering if Premiere Pro has a similar function that allows me to move clips left or right seamlessly without dragging them manually. If there’s an equivalent feature or a workaround, I'd love to hear about it!Additionally, if this feature isn’t currently available in Premiere Pro, could the Adobe Premiere engineers consider introducing something similar in future updates? It would be a great addition for enhancing workflow efficiency. Any pointers or tips would be highly appreciated! Thanks!
I shoot most of my footage in 30 fps and would like an option to export Animated GIFs in the same frame rate (closest current options are 25 and 50, on version 25.1). 25 fps doesn't look as smooth, and I know there's a Photoshop workaround, but it would be great to have this feature native to Premiere and not have to pay another subscription for Ps or the even more expensive subscription for the whole suite. Thanks!
I'm begging here - please, 🙏 for the love of humanity, add a shortcut for the new properties panel in Premier Pro!!!! It is beyond inefficient and quite frankly VERY annoying to have to go to the dropdown and choose properties every single time I want to edit text or graphics!!! A shortcut, that's it!! PLEAAAASE do this ASAP!!
Unecessary padding has been added to the edges of UI in almost all panels. While this may be more "modern," it takes away usable space. Attached screenshot features the apps at the same screen size size and with program panels the same width, but vertical height compresed until the picture would start to scale down in attempt to see the mimum space required. This is to demonstrate screen real estate efficiency. I do not think the 2025 padding choices make the UI more comfortable, I think it takes away usable space that could go to making the timeline window taller while keeping picture the same size (in red). Every pixel counts to professionals. Another padding issue that could be addressed is the uncesssary padding Source and Program windows have for picture itself (yellow). Resolve and AVID both push picture right to the edge of the source/program window. Adding padding might make the UI feel more friendly, but it makes it less effecient and less professional. UI
When adding a dip to Black Dissolve to a cut, PP warns that there are not enough frames. But Dip to Black does not need overlapping footage. Please skip the warning for this transition.
There needs to be some consistency between the effects controls panel and the properies panel. I'd argue that should extend to the Transform effect as well. Properties lists position, anchor, scale, rotation, opacity, LINEBREAK, crop. Effects controls under the motion heading has position, scale, rotation, anchor, crops, LINEBREAK, opacity. The Transform effect has anchor, position, scale, skew, etc....so anchor point comes before position. That is just confusing. Personally I would move anchor point lower in the stack in the properties panel to match the effect controls panel. Honestly I think it's silly to even have anchor point in the properties panel as opposed to say blend mode. You didn't include uniform scaling controls in the properties panel, so why anchor point? Also in the effect controls, the crops are listed right below anchor point and not seperated by a line break...but in Properties they are seperated and despite there being ample room in the UI, it just says
If for some reason, you have created proxies AFTER syncing and / or creating merged clips, those proxies will not attached to the merged clips. The idea is that to make that possible. In other words, to be able to attach proxies to all sorts of clips, either you create the proxies before or after creating merged clips, subclips, synced merged clips ...Thanks
In Premiere Pro, holding the mouse while moving across keyframes or tracks doesn't affect all elements at once. It would be convenient if this feature worked like in After Effects, allowing multiple keyframes and tracks to be adjusted simultaneously, including toggling track mute and sync lock.
Please allow color emoji as a text! It's so much work manually saving each emoji as an image on photoshop and importing it, lining with text etc.A supported set of color emoji as text would make things so much smoother
Welcome to this week's "Premiere updates that broke something which worked perfectly":I used to be able to select a bunch of clips in my timeline > Right click or KeyboardShortcut > Set To Frame Size. This would make 4K clips (for example) in my 1080p sequence shrink so they say "50%" in Effect Controls...perfect for most of the clips, except the ones I want to crop into (up to 200% losslessly, thanks to them being 4K. This is literally the main benefit of 4K workflows). Now the ability to 'undo' the Set To Frame Size is GONE. Yet somehow we have a THIRD option now.. How did this get so complicated and yet somehow completely remove the main feature we needed? There's no way to untick Set To Frame Size (sorry - just checked and it's actually renamed now to Fit To Frame, by which Adobe meant 'Shrink To Frame' because there's now a 'Fill To Frame' which means 'Expand To Frame' and the third option is 'Scale To Frame Size'...oh my gosh.... what a mess.) Please just return everythi
Dear Adobe Community,I am frustrated with Adobe's Caption Editing and Options. How is it that Capcut which costs 70$ per year has more caption styles that are editable and more advanced than Premiere Pro? For Example, it would be great to have a style, where each spoken word is underlaid with a colour or highlighted. Or make it more dynamic. The captions in Premiere are terrible right now. The style options are awful and ugly. Just give me more dynamic options and then let me edit font, colour and text easily. We don't need more or I'm switching to Capcut. Thanks!
