Hebrew containing punctuation characters does not update to RTL in MOGRTs (2024+). Attached a sample Hebrew SRT.Here is Line 1 of the SRT. It should appear as the image below:Here is the string typed out: שלום שלום! Please look closely, because it is appearing incorrectly on this forum display. The punctuation glyph "!" is reversed. It also appears this way (incorrectly) in a MOGRT. Here is comparing an Essential Graphics Text Layer with RTL enabled to a MOGRT.White is Text Layer, red is MOGRT text. The text layer inside the MOGRT was set to LTR before exporting from AE. Users must pick either LTR or RTL before exporting. But in Premiere Pro, there is no way to change this MOGRT text from LTR to RTL. If a user picks RTL before exporting, they have the reverse problem of flipped punctuation for LTR languages. Isn't the Universal Text Engine supposed to identify RTL languages and update if-needed? If not, how can 1 template support both LTR and RTL lang
When editing captions I often resize the bounding box depending if they are one line or two. Auto-generated captions always have line breaks - sometimes after a single word. Which means going to each caption block just to delete these superfluous spacings
When multiple clips are selected on the timeline, we should be able to use the effect control panel to adjust basic parameters like Zoom, Position, Rotation, Opacity, and Crop simultaneously.Crop should be added to the default parameters in the effect control panel.Ripple trim should have an option to affect only selected clip(s) and leave the rest of the unselected clips alone.Copy and paste should happen on the same track regardless of the project or active track. The overlay should have a dedicated shortcutA power bin should be added to premiere to house frequently used graphics or footageThe effect Control panel lacks a lot of useful features. Searching for those effects in the effects panel is a bit waste of time. Useful audio effects like EQ, Denoiser, and Compressor should be in the effect control panel by default.
I am an editor of social media content, including vertical reels. After a podcast is edited, we sometimes need to reposition the clips so that one person is stacked vertically at the top and another at the bottom of the window. Because the horizontal YouTube-version edit comes first, we use enabling/disabling of tracks to cut between the two people. After this, we have to enable all disabled tracks so that we can then reposition them side by side. This can take 10-15 minutes to do. Current way: Let's say you want to enable all the disabled clips on a track. Currently, you have to hand select each one and then enable/disable, to toggle their visibility. Another way is to lock the other tracks and either use up and down arrow keys, or drag the playhead, with Selection follows Playhead enabled, and then page to each one and enable/disable. Proposed idea: On the left side, where you choose track toggling and source patching, it would be great to be able to right-click a
Dear Adobe Premiere Pro Team,I am writing to bring attention to a significant feature gap in Adobe Premiere Pro. Unlike competitors such as DaVinci Resolve and Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro currently lacks a fundamental feature that allows users to cut clips at the playhead to the start or end of the clip with a shortcut key, without affecting other layers.Issue Summary:Missing Feature: The ability to trim or cut a clip from the playhead to the start or end without impacting adjacent layers is essential for efficient editing. This feature is available in both DaVinci Resolve and After Effects, which makes its absence in Premiere Pro particularly noticeable.Impact: The current process requires manual adjustments and frequent changes in track targeting, leading to inefficiencies and disruptions in the editing workflow.Request: I strongly urge the Adobe Premiere Pro team to consider implementing this feature to match the capabilities of competitors and enhance the editing experience.
I've been a CC subscriber for years, working heavily on the photo side the past few years, with only occasional video projects nowadays, and I am baffled at how PP is supposed to be a stable program for working professionals. With a brand new M3 Max MacBook Pro, PP has locked up after trying to use warp stabilizer on a dozen clips (4K from Canon mirrorless). It's simply choking and doing nothing, with no frames being analyzed and none of the timers going down. Is the app not smart enough to analyze one clip after another and get it done? Worse, I try to save the project, and the save dialog box just sits there. I can press cancel, and go back to editing, but the dialog box stays up on screen because the UI is borked. I try to close out of PP and it asks then if I want to save, and I say yes, and then those dialog boxes are stuck on screen, without any saving happening. This is SO basic. I'm not even complaining about the memory leak I had to
Hello. I love the Premiere pro but sometime somthings cause slow workflow like below my description.after click on import command in media browser panel, panel automatically changes to project panel so i should go back to media brwoser. when i gonna to import a afew clips it is fine but when i gonna to import a lot off footage, this is makes slow work flow.thanks.Manisoft
I hate to say it. My clients want that trendy TikTok-retention-fueled captions. If there could be more tools in the captions space (similar to CapCut) it would be incredibly helpful to streamline these captions.
The background of captions should be able to use linear and radial gradients...
if i make my subtitles in preimer pro by transcribing , i wanna animate them in after effects , if i link them all to after effects , it imports all the footage as normal , but the graphic layers imports as comps , and the text layeyrs are inside them , it would be a good idea if the were out and would be easy to animate it by third party apps that only animate text layers not comps.
I would love to see 2 improvements made to the Captioning tool.1. Being able to Export a .vtt file, not just an .srt. I work for an organization that uses a service that only accepts .vtt files. It would be nice not having to go into the file and change all the commas to periods. It's a real time suck, especially to make sure we don't accidentally change the punctuation in a sentense. It's also nice since we can't just install or use online tools to convert files. 2. I would like a "character counter" so I know how many characters are in a line. I think this is a very specific scenario, but when working with captions and transcripts, it's hard to make sure I'm counting correctly and I don't have time to count each character. This is a semi-accessibility reason, for Braille readers, as personally and organizationally, I don't want to have text broken in inconvient spots.
It would be massively helpfull if you could not only export your graphics as a CSV-file but also import them and via Timecode place them directly onto your timeline using for instance a MOGRT as a style. Much like you do with captions. For localization of content this could be incredibly helpfull and set the standard for graphics-list.
I would like to see the tools from Adobe Premiere more aligned with the actual social media content people share:-I think is important to have an option where not only choose from characters and lines on captions. I would like to choose how many words I want to see per caption. So I have the option to keep just one or 2 words. -Also, I would like to have a feauture where is animated the captions like karaoke per word and different style. I think this is time saver for the editors and I'm frustrated to see that everyone stills do it manually. Where some apps in the phones do it easy. Some apps like Kapwing do the karaoke thing so good. Thank you Adobe
Animated captions have become increasingly common in editions, many smartphone apps have stood out by creating animations for subtitles, I think that Adobe could provide ready-made animations for captions.

I would like to have a stabililze Panel within prooerties window. Just like in Davinci, it would enhance the workflow tremendously. Also please make that i can you the stabilizer and Timeremapping on the same Clip without nesting it.
Hi,I’d like to suggest a feature that would significantly enhance the editing workflow in Premiere Pro, especially for those working on longer projects like feature films. Currently, when I cut clips in dailies I have to manually drag clips to the start and need to move them to the beginning of the timeline, I have to manually drag them all the way to the start. This can become quite tedious, especially when working with multiple scenes spread out across a long timeline. It would be incredibly helpful to have a shortcut or function where, after selecting one or more clips, they automatically align to the beginning of the timeline without requiring manual dragging one after another. This could be something like a "Snap to Start" option or a "Move to Beginning" command an automatically aligns while cutting across scenes amongst different editing complex timelines. It would streamline the process and reduce the stress of constantly repositioning clips during complex edits. This feature woul
In the broadcast world, we need our captions to denote when music is playing and also any kind of ambient sound like laughing, clapping, etc. It would be wonderful if we could run the transcript feature on a finished show and have it note music and SFX in the transcription, which could then carry over to the captions when we create them from the transcript. It would also be great if the system could learn speakers that are used regularly. For example, if we have show hosts that are always the same every week, it would be great if the AI could learn and recognize the same voice from show to show and have that reflected in the transcript/captions. Thanks for your consideration.
When exporting/importing markers between programs, I've noticed that Premiere Pro and Audition handle their .csv columns differently. Ergo, it takes an extra step of manually reformatting the .csv exported from one program to import into another. Please consider standardizing the .csv columns to make for easy export/import of markers between programs. (And please consider adding Marker export/import to After Effects.)
Premiere Pro does not fully support high contrast mode in Windows. With the exception of title bars and menus, the product does not respond to high contrast mode in Windows. I am using the dark mode and the font of menu options is light grey, not easy to read, especially with small menu fonts. Hope there will be a solution for windows soon.
Mask tracking progress panel should perform in background in progress window, so we can still edit while mask tracking is done or we can track multiple tasks simultaneously. This will be revolutionary! In general, motion tracking in premiere must improve alot. For example enable users to use tracking data (keyframes) and apply them to text or object so it follows the same path.Tracking process depends totaly on CPU and even does not use all CPU capacity, Acceleration is a must !
grave unos videos en modo cine desde un iphone 13, los descargue en un pc y se puede visualizar sin problema, pero al subirlos a premier pro y premier beta, se cargan pero no se reproducen, le doy clic en ver o visualizar o reproducir pero no funciona.
I was asked by support to share this:I wanted to use sensei - fullfilled all the requirements - but it didn't work since it apparantly doesn't function with clips that have audio other than in the english language. Since I would only need to AI to recognize pauses, it would be really helpful if Sensei could get updated to this next step - transcriptions are another level to this. So I hope the devs consider this mini-inbetween step and doesn't try to make a transcription service work in swiss german. Because that will never happen...
I propose an enhancement for nested tracks in Premiere Pro. Instead of opening a new sequence on double-click, nested tracks would open directly within the existing timeline as secondary tracks (e.g., V1.1, V1.2, etc.). This would allow you to add or modify these sub-tracks without leaving the main timeline, making the workflow more seamless. This feature is already present in other software for managing complex effects, and integrating it into Premiere Pro would significantly improve project management.
I’m aware that it’s possible to extend standard video and audio fades to the playhead, but only separately. For audio transitions, this feature is currently almost useless because there’s no crossfade option, and the fade always starts at 0 dB. In Avid, this function is called Head Fade / Top Fade and works for every activated video and audio tracks. It would be fantastic if this feature could also be implemented in Premiere.
