Flash Player (read-only)

Hi,I first installed Flash Player on my mac and was using it with Safari. Now, recently I started using Opera and when I tried to view flash content it told me Flash wasn't installed. I thought flash installed globally for all browser to use it but I guess I was wrong. Now, Flash on Safari tells me is out of date while Opera is not since I installed it later. Is there a way to keep Flash updated without having to update it individually in every browser I use?  I don't use automatic update by the way. Just a personal preference since I don't always have a fast internet connection.  I'm using Mac OS 10.11.5 by the way.

I cannot download Adobe Flash 15 onto my Surface RT Tablet.  What do I need to do?  Is it possible.

I have noticed that on a Windows 10 64 bit system, bith at home and at work I noticed that a new folder called temp is created with another randomly named folder within that. ( see attached ) How to recreate this1) Run the offline uninstaller2) use the offline NPAPI installer - this created blank temp folder 3) Run the offline installer again this seems to create a random folder with a file i never seen before.I am not sure if this is a bug or deliberate but thought I would bring it up?.Thanks in advance

I have been using Adobe products for years and, in general, find that Adobe generates some really useful tools for computer users and productivity.  With that, ever time I get notice of an update to "Adobe Flash Player" I am forced to answer the same questions during the update / installation process.  During installation the installer application ask if I want to install the "Google Toolbar", and the default is Yes, so I have to uncheck the box prior to installation or I will receive software on my system I do not want or desire.  In addition, toward the end of the update, the installation app provides three options about future updates:1) Download and install automatically2) Ask me before installing3) Never install ......And every install I have to uncheck the "Google Toolbar" installation and tell Adobe to "Ask me ..." before downloading and installing future updates.Is there a way to permanently turn off the Google Toolbar option and default my answer to the update d

I am trying to update Adobe Flash played on my iMac, which is running OS X versions 10.11.5.  System preferences shows I am running:  NPAPI Plug-in version 22.0.0.192 is installedI have download the DMG file and run the Install Adobe Flash Player.app.  A window appears asking me to confirm that I want to open the app.  The a bouncing folder appears on my Dock.  I never get window asking me for my password.  The update never installs.  I have repeated this process several times.

I received the usual prompt today to update my Adobe Flash Player to the newest version, and duly clicked the link.   The download grinds to a halt 90% of the way into the install:Thinking the link itself was the problem, I went straight to the Adobe site and tried the download from there.   Exactly the same thing happened.  I've never before had a problem before with Flash Player updates (running Mac OS X 10.11.5)   Anybody have any ideas?

Hi-I have attempted multiple times to download the new version of flash on my macbook air. I even uninstalled my current version to start from scratch but every time I attempt to download it freezes on 90%. Can anyone help me?

I am attempting to uninstall flash for Safari on my Mac and have downloaded the Adobe Uninstall tool and ran it several times. In each case the program tells me that flash has been successfully uninstalled. I'm running Windows XP with Service Pack 3. My browser is Firefox 47.1. I had Flash Player 22 NPAPI installed on my computer, and it was working fine until this morning (Friday, July 15, 2016, 9 a.m. EDT). When I opened my browser, I saw a message saying that I needed to update Flash Player in order to watch a video. I went to the Flash Player Download Center and downloaded the installer (flashplayer22_ha_install.exe). When I ran the installer, it completed the initialization, but when the installer window opened, it was blank. I tried this three times and got the same result. I migrated my OSX to a Mac Mini. Somehow it upgraded itself from Maverick to El Capitan (?). Anyway, I can't seem to install Flash Player on my Mac Mini. Tried uninstalling and clean install the latest version (2.2) but no luck. What am I overlooking?

Afternoon,On the 12th July I downloaded and installed 22.0.0.209...this was the latest version. Today it is 22.0.0.210.We completed a lot of testing over the last 48 hours.What I am concerned about is that on Tuesday 209 was is said it was the activex, today it is saying that 209 was the Mac & Win NPAPI & PPAPI and 210 is the ActiveX version.Can anyone in the technical team please feedback on this?Thank youT

Using 21.0.0  Flash, Mac OS 10.22.5, Safari 9.1.1I have installed the latest version of Adobe Flash 3 times in the last week.  Although it seems to install, it doesn't work.In checking Safari security I received the above notice, "Adobe Flash player on your computer has critical security issues"It worked briefly after I installed the new OS 10.22.5 (El Capitain) and the accompanying new version of Flash, but now when I go on a website requiring Flash I get a notice the my version is out of date and the site provides a link to install the latest version.  I do not use the link (maybe its a fake link?) and go to the Adobe website where I download the latest version for Mac.  I have done this 3 times and it still doesn't work. The notice in the security window that there are critical security issues concerns me.  Is this a valid issue with the current Flash software? Can anyone at Adobe address this?

I am new to this office, got notified to update flash player. I followed instructions but when I click on download icon, it says the name of my company(not an email address) in a box, asks for password in another box. I have  no idea what the password was and there isn't an option for "forgot password".  I set up my own account in adobe.com but don't know how to link to the company.  I got into this forum with previous person's email address and password.
