Flash Player (read-only)

I'm being prompted to install and update for Flash, but at about 60% of the way through the install, I'm told to close Chrome, and the install won't move past that point. This is happening even if I haven't opened Chrome since turning my computer on. My default browser is Edge, and I do also use Chrome for some websites.

I get the error below when trying to update/uninstall/ or reinstall flash player NPAPI. I am also trying to use the flash uninstall tool with the same error only for the npapi version of flash. I have tried uninstall via msiexec guid without success.Windows Installer reconfigured the product. Product Name: Adobe Flash Player 32 NPAPI. Product Version: 32.0.0.192. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Adobe. Reconfiguration success or error status: 1638.

I have a Mac and have uninstalled and reinstalled the current Flash Player app. I've enabled the app on Safari and it shows there, but it does not work or show as installed on your help site or apps where I am trying to use it.

win 10 and adobe flash both did an update on the 12th on my pc.     The Flash version is (KB4503308)   and since then my games are all weirded out ......instead of in-game buttons I have black squares.    Is this fixable???

I have never had a problem before yesterday with viewing flash [spam link removed]. Then yesterday, I tried to watch CBS online Criminal Minds and I got audio, but the screen was black and you couldn't access "settings." Then today, I tried to access the viewing feature of documents on Ancestry.com and same problem - black screen instead of a picture.  When I go to the Global Settings page for Flash Player, I CAN'T EVEN SEE THE BOX.  Even on the "test" flash player website when it say's if you see an error in the box it's not working properly, I CANT EVEN SEE THAT BOX!  Anyone? Attached are pictures of the error logs from the ancestry page. I have tried EVERYTHING from installing all kinds of different versions of flash player and Firefox and starting Firefox in Safe Mode.  I even manually disabled all extensions and add-on's at one point.  Nothing works.  I also tried disabling hardware acceleration on Firefox and from Flash player on pages that did wor

I have Internet Explorer and was told to enable it.  Well, it was already enabled before, and it still won't continue to install.  So what do I do, and how do I install it if I have to close Internet Explorer?  I never have had this problem before.

-Fresh install of windows 10 home x 64 Version    10.0.17763 Build 17763-Fresh install of firefox quantum 67  (64-bit)-Fresh install of flash player 32.When flash is enabled, it make crash firefox on start up.Each time.I don't get any error message.If I deactivate flash player then firefox run properly.Can you help me?

Idag fick jag upp ett meddelande om att Flash behövde uppdateras i Internet Explorer. När jag skulle göra det så får jag upp meddelandet "otillräckliga användarbehörigheter för att installera". När jag kollar om det finns Flash installerat i Internet Explorer står det att det ej finns.Jag gick då till länken How do I fix Windows permission problems with Flash Player?  där det står att jag ska ladda ner SubInACL Installer, vilket jag har gjort, och sedan filen som finns i länken. Problemet är att det inte går att ladda ner zip-filen, när jag trycker på den så laddas bara själva sidan om? Vad ska jag göra?!

Yes I'm on a Mac Air I can down load the first part then it ask for a password for the helper to down load the next bit and it won't except the password, I had the same problem with Norton and they fixed it for me.

I recently renewed my distribution license and can logon to the site successfully. However, when I click the links for the MSIs, nothing happens.If I right-click an MSI link and select open in new tab, it goes to the same page with the list of available downloads.I tried this in Chrome and IE with same results for both.[moderator: edited title to clarify this impacts all files on the page, not just the MSI installers]

I have found several articles stating flash player will be end of life at the end of 2020.  What is the specific date for flash player end of life?  Is it 12/31/2020?

We currently use flash player in a closed network with no access to the internet.  If we are not able to switch everything off of flash playerwill it still be possible to distribute flash player after 2020?Do we know when it will no longer be possible to granted 1 year distribution agreements for flash player?  Will they be issued in 2020?

How often Adobe Flash Player get updated?

I am using Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge and I am unable to download the newest Flash player. When I go into my settings the Flash Player is not in my Advanced options.  I believe my Flash Player may have been deleted.
