How to remove extra space after an image in Adobe Frame Maker?  

Hello,1) I open a Word file (doc or docx) by doing Control+O, so FM create an FM file.2) I add this FM file (coming from Word) to my book (this is my chapter)3) I create a template with page numbering4) I select my chapter book and File/Import/Format/TemplateResult : In the chapter, the page numbering does not appears at the top of the page.It seems like a bug. What do you think ?

Hi,   I'm testing FrameMaker 2022 on Windows 11 pro, no other Adobe apps installed.   When I create an unstructured document I can save it to PDF only by printing to the Windows PDF printer, but NOT via Save As PDF or via Publish PDF.   When I create a structured document and print to PDF via Windows PDF printer it prints all the formatting brackets shown in the WYSIWYG view, not just the formatted content. Saving to PDF and via Publish does not work either.   Is FrameMaker not able to generate PDFs without Acrobar or Distiller?   Thanks & regards, Roland

Greetings to all.I don't have any experience with framemaker and therefore I can't find anything to help solving my case. I don't even know if I am using the right words to explain my issue.I am translating an owner's manual. In the right column of the following image, there is the word WARNING that is locked and I can't figure out how to unlock it. It is mixed with editable (unlocked) text. It seems this locking is programed. There is a variable named WARNING that corresponds to WARNING text frames with black background. Therefore, changing its definition doesn't change the locked text. 

I'm using Visual Studio (VS) to develop and test FrameMaker scripts.  All works fine, but to test a script from inside Visual Studio I have to click F5 (Run > Start Debugging), then select the host application (FrameMaker 2020, ver 16.0) from a dropdown list of about a dozen apps.  Is there a way to configure VS so script simply executes when I press F5.  I'm guessing it has something to do with configurations, but I have no idea what change(s) to make to configure FrameMaker 2020 as the default.  The settings.json currently reads:{ "editor.minimap.enabled": false, "workbench.colorTheme": "Tomorrow Night Blue", "launch": { "configurations": [ { "type": "extendscript-debug", "request": "launch", "name": "Launch Script in ExtendScript Engine" } ] } } 

HelloWhen I make a PDF review, at the begining I have always this type of alert window asking me to confirm if the file is coming from a safe source. Is it a way (in preferences) to set Frame Maker in order to do not display anymore this alert window nor the "acrobat distiller" window ?

Does any one know of a feature in FrameMaker or an add-on or plug-in that would check for grammar? I'm thinking of something similar to the built-in functionality of Word short of copying and pasting into Word and then revising the FM document. Thanks in advance!!!

Using Framemaker 2019.  Trying to set the default font for table titles (then of course apply to all tables using that table style).  I can change the table title font per table, but I want to set it for the style and not have to go through the entire doc and change each table individually.  Anyone know how to do that?  Thanks

I am using FrameMaker V17 to publish Responsive HTML5 help.The Assets folder in the Output contains graphic elements (screen shots) in their original .png formats and three corressponding .svg files. Each of the .svg file names are the same except for numbers appended to them. I would have thought that files with the same name would be overwritten each time I published.My only thought is that these SVG files are for other formats such as mobile apps. Any thoughts?pls refer to the attached image

I wanted to use the theme charcoal_grey for a HTML5 help output.In Publish Settings, I clicked on Responsive HTML5, then under Manage Layout I clicked on "New" and choose Charcoal_Grey. I left all settings as they were to get a test output file first.But instead, it showed me a cryptic message in the log, that screen layouts are not in the settings file.("In dieser Ausgabe verwendete Bildschirmlayouts sind nicht in der Einstellungsdatei enthalten.")After a while I tried to check the Charcoal_Grey files in the installation directory, but there are none. Why are those files not there? How can I use the Charcoal_Grey theme??

hello guys & girls, i am a little bit new to the Creative Cloud Thing from Adobe. So in the past we purchased 4 Licences for the Adobe Framemaker and have the urgent need to install it in Version of 2019 (i guess its simply FrameMaker19 instead of 2022). Now we´ve got a Case where Laptop had to be reinstalled and the User needs FrameMaker, but could only get it in Version2022 over CreativeCloud, wich will not work for them to use. So I´ve had a chat with the support, but they could simply send me to the Trial-Download Page with gives me the Version2022, too. So my questions is, is there any posibility to get FrameMaker in Version2019 to download? The links in this post wouldnt work anymore Link for downloading updates to old versions of Fr... - Adobe Support Community - 10637219 Thx 4 your answers 😃  greetingsGabbon

Hi everyone, I have an FM page within my FM book, which has a multi-column table. Column 1 contains a sequential number in square brackets [1]. The next column on the same row is a document reference for an external document, the next column is the revision, and the final column is the title.Throughout the book and associated pages (separate FM files), I have a placeholder [1] wherever the reader needs to reference the external document [1]. Question 1, what is the best method to link or hyperlink the placeholders [1] back to the table of references and, if possible, the actual table row?Question 2, is it possible to use the sequential number in the table in the placeholder through the book. i.e. [1] in the table would be seen where every the reader is notifed of an external document.

When I save file as PDF the image background changed automatically from grey to white in Adobe Frame Maker Document. Please suggest me how to resolve it.  

Hi, We own an Adobe Technical Suite 2015 TLP license.  Does this entitle us to install and use the previous verison of 3.5?  I know this is an old product  and isnt supported, which is fine.  I just want to check the license rules for downgrading ATC 2015 TLP to 3.5. Thanks very much
