It seems pretty ridiculous that I'd need to even ask this question but how do you close the app while using it on a Windows PC. It's a nice app and yeah it's designed for tablet but sweet baby geezus, when you need to spend 20 minutes googling only to come to the forums to ask how to close the app, that's pretty bad UI design. Surely I don't need to Alt-Del to close the app from Task Manager... Can someone please advise how I exit Fresco, normally without task manager etc, while using it on a windows 10 PC?
I was working on a file and Fresco crashed. When I open the app back I can see the thumbnail in my Recent area, but ciking on it gives me a "format not supported" error and it won't open the file. The error description says "The document does not appear to be a valid PSD file. " I tried to look at version history but it gave me an error message there too. I tried to look in the cloud files and that file doesn't appear there. It should as I was working on it for half an hour, and the first time it crashed it did open but then it crashed again and I lost it. Before it had some sort of lag (trying to undo or use the color picker had serious delay then caught up seconds later). Really at the moment I just want to get back the lost work if possible. Any way to get my file back without starting completly over? HELP!
Despite trying the suggested 24 hr link to correct this recurring problem three times it always disappears from creativ cloud. You then have to re install the latest verion which doesnt work. Backto having to contact Adobe help with their only solution try lder version new 24hr link given. It works but soon you are back to the same problem of crashing when trying to open documents. Works fine on ipad. If you are unable or dont want this problem solved then just say so. Think its time to change platform as Adobe doesnt seem to see afuture with Fresco.
In ‘Transform Mode’ it would be useful if there was the possibility for the object to continue moving as long as the arrow keys were held down. As it is, it's torture. Either that or allow the object to be dragged perfectly aligned with its vertical or horizontal axis.
Hi everyone,I'm hoping someone can help me with a frustrating issue I'm having with Adobe Fresco. I've been using the app for a while now without any problems, but recently, it's been getting stuck on "loading documents" whenever I try to open. I've tried everything I can think of to fix the problem, including: Clearing the app cacheReinstalling FrescoRepairing the installationRestarting my computer Unfortunately, nothing has worked so far. Has anyone else encountered this issue? If so, were you able to fix it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
How do I set the canvas edge so when I'm using the paint brush it doesn't allow me to draw over the canvas edge.
I recently downloaded some brushes to Fresco and I got some duplicates which I want to remove and they are not showing up on Creative Cloud. What can I do?

Hi! I installed Adobe Fresco and something seems to be wrong.The toolbar buttons don't work well. I can just click on a tool but no window opens.For example, I select the pixel brushes and there is no window open, so I'm stuck with the first default paintbrush, and I can't change it.The color selection button doesn't work either and in fact all the buttons I circled with a red pen in the added image below don't work.why is it happenin? I circled with a green pen the buttons that do work. I'll be glad to get a help and solve this problem so I'll can finally start drawThanks!
I have Windows 11, Fresco's latest release and Fresco has worked before. I have a Surface Pro 7, bought this computer just for drawing in Fresco. I don't want to change the program, I love Adobe and have used it since Adobe Elements v2 came out so a real OG here. Anyway, I have uninstalled it and installed it again. No luck. Changed to an older version, no luck. Deleted the whole Fresco map, uninstalled and installed again, no luck. Closed and started Creative Cloud, and pressed ctrl alt R, but no luck. Followed so many tips and it still crashes. What can I do to fix this?I work as a designer and I depend on this app. Of course, I can use Photoshop or Illustrator - but I want to use Fresco. Yes, I have the required hardware to run the program. I have space left on my SSD. Best regards
I have a 5 frame animation created at high resolution (2880 x 1080px) to accommodate the size needed for a full-width banner on my website. Exporting the motion via Fresco always downsizes my file down to 1024 x 384px regardless of the file type, including frames as PNGs. (Why???) How to switch between layer and mask on windows desktop verson of Fresco?It says swipe between tumbnails but that obviously not working on a wacom tablet.
I'm trying to export a vector file from Fresco to be opened in Illustrator on desktop. I've tried "open a copy" on Fresco a few times. It just never does anything. Is this just on my ipad that this feature doesn't work at all or is this happening to other people?
I have been having this issue for a while, and see others have had the same issue. I am unable to share and open from Fresco to Desktop version of Illustrator. This was such a convenient workflow option once upon a time for vector work.I have tried updating every program, logging in and out of all CC programs, rebooting computer etc. Still no luck. My OS is the most recent version, and I am running a Mac Mini m1 chip If you have any advice, please let know as it's beyond frustrating
brush color defaults to white, if you draw a stroke on vector layer, as soon as you lift off the screen the color being used goes back to white, how do you prevent having to change the color for every stroke?
I've tried restarting the app and also tried restarting the iPad. iPad software is up to date running on OS 17.3.1 and so is Fresco on version 5.3.0. Even if I wait it out the screen eventually goes to sleep with fresco still stuck on "Saving..." even though there's nothing to save as it's just been launched. This has been going on for a week now.
I was part way through drawing using vector pen and suddenly it is super slow.The lag is crazy. I have to lay down one stroke and wait a second for it to appear before laying another.It's a portrait of a long haired cat so you can imagine how freaking long this is taking. I also noticed the 'fill' function is taking longer and longer, now to the point that I just don't use it and spend the painstaking time drawing it in because it's quicker (thought I'd give fill another go on a small patch and it's been at least 30 minutes) I thought maybe the dimensions were too big (a3) and considering it's vector I changed it to a4 and no change. I'm not sure what year my iPad is but it's a pro 9.7" running whatever the current update is. Bought my Apple Pencil at the same time so not sure that year either I'm also not running any other programs and only have the reference image so 2 layers all up. (not a huge file, at a4 it's a little pixelated, just use it for the shape
I just started using Fresco 5.0.1 and am attempting my first drawing with Wacom Cintiq 16/Windows 10. The Cintiq functions beautifully with Photoshop and anything else I throw at it. But here, there is no response from the stylus. Is there some kind of compatibilty issue? Am I missing something?

everytime I export a fresco file with a different canvas size , it crops the size to the screen size. example: I work on canvas sizes that are 1200 px X 1800 px. when I export in all diff formats and open in Photos app, the edges of the image are cropped off to fit screen size. how do I fix this?? thank you
Hi Team., I have set the lock transparency for a single layer and when I try to color inside that layer nothing happens, there is no Color's coming inside the layer, it's empty I am using iPad and pencil
Curious if anyone else is having this (major) issue or has a solution. I use fresco to create animations, which I then import as psd files into after effects. Until a few days ago, this worked fine, and they came into after effects with motion layers as precomps containing all the frames of the animation as layers. Now the entire motion layer is being imported as a single layer, with all the pixels from the entire animation on top of each other. Same issue when opening the file in photoshop. Im a new user to Fresco coming from Procreate, I was very excited to use the program but I've noticed unlike Procreate you can't blend in Fresco using its smudge tool. Normally, it'll only take me maybe 2 hrs to blend the colors on a picture but in Fresco I've been trying to blend my colors on a small part of my image for 5 days!!!!!! I've looked up tutorials, tried mixing brushes, used different layers, added new brushes but nothing happens. I'll get an initial smudge yes but then after a certain point any and all smudge brushes just do nothing, I'll go over the colors and it stays to same nothing happens!!!! I've gone over this section time and time and time again but it stays looking blocky and unblended... is there no way to smooth these lines at all what so ever? Why do the brushes stop working after a certain point!? It shouldn't be rocket science to figure out how to blend but I'm over here struggling to do a basic art function!!!! When will Adobe Fresco get
Hey Adobe,I'm seriously disappointed with Adobe Fresco. I've been an artist using Adobe for the last 7 years, starting with Adobe Draw which is now closed. I bought an iPad specifically to use Adobe Fresco, but every time I spend 6 to 7 hours creating art, the app crashes and I lose all my progress. It's especially problematic when using pixel brushes and oil paint brushes. My iPad is 9th gen. If this issue isn't resolved, I'll have to explore other software options. I haven't purchased premium yet because of this problem. Thank you.
