Hi, I am urgently reporting a very inconvenient issue with Photoshop’s current brush size-saving system, and I’m asking for a fix.I love Photoshop and want to continue using it, but the lack of a per-brush size memory feature makes it very stressful to work with. Other art programs such as Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, Krita, and Blender’s Grease Pencil already include this feature, which makes the workflow far more intuitive.Here’s what I need Photoshop to do:Each brush should remember its own last-used size independently, rather than all brushes sharing one size.The current problem:If I use Brush A at size 20, then switch to Brush B at size 5, returning to Brush A resets its size—it doesn’t remember I last used it at 20. Even with the "Capture Brush Size in Preset" option unchecked, all brushes just share the most recent size. This makes it impossible to keep track of the sizes I set for different brushes.Why presets don’t solve this:Of course, I could save new brush presets for each

New Guide: Please change back the add guide feature to default to the measurement system the file is set up with! I use guides a lot for print formatting and have a shortcut set up, and the input windows changed with the last update. It also used to automatically let you type into the "Position" box, but you now have to click it to start typing, and you have to specify the unit of measurement if you want the guide placed with something other than pixels.

With AVIF being supported in modern web browsers the need for AVIF as a save as option or export to option would be very helpful.  For those of us that still use Photoshop as a primary graphic editor (even for simple web sites) this will become more and more important as JPG's are replaced.

I often taking HDR screenshots on XBox Series X gaming console and on my PC with 4K HDR monitor!Those pictures look amazing and they are higher display quality than usual PNG or JPG images. Can’t compare.But I can’t edit them in Photoshop for what I’m paying Adobe CC subscription each month. I hope that Adobe responsible team for this feature be able to make. Photoshop can edit or make some HDR file formats but not a .JXR format files.I would like that developers, implement JXR files support in Photoshop.Thanks.

Hi guys,It often happens that when I have a layer selected and switch focus to its mask to paint, if I make a mistake and press Undo, the focus automatically jumps back to the main layer. If I don't notice it immediately, I start painting on the layer itself instead of the mask.My colleagues and I all face this same issue. The "Undo" command shouldn't change the selection target. While this behavior might be handy when going back many steps in history, it’s very annoying when you are simply painting on a mask.I’ve noticed that this happens frequently, though not every single time. Could we have an option in the Preferences to toggle this behavior?Something like: [ ] Include focus/selection change in Undo history

When I first reported this problem I was told it was because my wacom tablet was old, my computer was out of date etc. Now I have a brand new computer and a brand new wacom tablet and still if I am not careful my clone tool goes automatically alined when I select an area to be cloned the box ticks itself I can see it happen if I accidentally tap the pen twice in quick succession to the tablet when making a selection. Now this may be okay for you younger people with your steady as a rock hands but no matter how careful I am this is still happening by accident to me. Some may see it as a feature me I would just like to be able to turn it off.

Photoshop currently lacks the ability to natively open multi-layer EXR files, typically only loading the combined "RGBA" layer and an Alpha channel.While Windows users have access to third-party plugins like Exr-IO, macOS users have no viable equivalent. Currently, my workflow requires me to open renders in Affinity Photo just to export them as PSDs for Photoshop.This constant switching is a massive productivity drain. While I prefer Photoshop’s toolset, Affinity’s native handling of multi-channel EXRs makes a strong case for moving my entire pipeline there.Request: Please implement native, multi-channel OpenEXR support that preserves layer names upon import.

Feature request: Quick 1:1 scale resizing using known measurementsIt would be extremely useful if Photoshop had a simple, discoverable way to resize an image to true 1:1 scale based on a known real‑world measurement.For example, a user could use the Ruler Tool (or similar) to measure a known object in the image (such as a physical ruler), manually enter the real‑world length, and have Photoshop automatically scale the image accordingly—either with resampling or by adjusting resolution only.This would greatly improve workflows for digitisation, archival imaging, product photography, and technical documentation, where accurate physical scale is essential.

Would be great to have an option that will lock opacity when resizing my brush with alt+right click drag, There is one for brush hardness, but never found one for opacity!

SDL instances have to be kept up to date manually as the automatic updates cannot be set during the installation and change depending on what account is signed in to the CC app.  We need a way to set the updates/version upgrades to download and install automatically.  I should be able to set this behavior when creating the installer and set it so that non-admin users cannot change the behavior after installation.  I should be able to schedule a window for these updates to take place within when the computers are not in use in the installer as well.  Your current lack of this feature means that we cannot use our device licenses to the extent we intended because of the management workload to keep them updated.  This applies to all adobe apps (not just Photoshop) but I was forced to select a category below. 

Photoshop 27.x forces large hover tooltip panels (e.g., Generative Fill) with no option to disable them. These appear across tools and interfere with normal workflow. Previous versions allowed turning off “Rich Tooltips,” but that control has been removed. Please restore a simple preference to disable these panels.

Unlike most modern apps, Photoshop only has a single "undo". If you press command-z a second time, Photoshop will redo the change instead of continuing to undo. Not even Illustrator or InDesign works this way at this point. To work around this issue, I customize my keyboard shortcuts to use "step backward" (command-z) and "step forward" (command-shift-z). For the most part this works great and I've been very happy with it. But it brings up a new problem: if I change the selected layer, then press command-z ("step backward") then the layer change is undone as well. This is a constant frustration for me, and it seems there's no solution to get both the behaviors I want. To me, there are two possible ways to fix this problem: • Adopt a standard undo/redo system with multiple levels of undo/redo • Make layer selection a separate step in the history Personally I don't care that much, I'd be happy with either. It would be really helpful to have an AI-powered feature that can automatically organize layers, groups, and assets based on content and naming patterns.For example, detecting similar elements (text, shapes, images) and grouping them intelligently, or suggesting cleaner layer names instead of “Layer 1 copy 5.” This could save a lot of time, especially in complex projects with dozens or hundreds of layers.An optional toggle or preview before applying changes would make it even more practical. Would love to hear if others feel the same or have ideas to improve this!

As is, the bar is almost ALWAYS in the way, covering the area I'm working in. It also has a nasty habit of disappearing after a while and refusing to reappear, or staying long enough to use (like when using generative features, where it will vanish after clicking the prompt area, making it impossible to click the generate button. As part of the window itself, it can always be present, and always out of the way.

One of the things I have noticied over using several Adobe apps over the years is the level of documentation between the apps. Having an extensive background in various database and OS software the developers for the most part provide comprehensive Release Notes and Changelogs with their apps. This allows the user to see what has changed and when. There is a myriad of reasons why this is important. However, this logic does not seem to apply to all Adobe Teams. In fact on of the Adobe Employee responded in one posting in this community group pointing to a "Summary" when asked about Release Notes. The request for Release Notes and Changelogs have been made a number of times, and have went unanswered. I came across a good article today describing the purpose and differences between them. I truly appreciate the recent addition of the "Remove" option in the Contextual Task Bar. However, I would like to suggest a small but meaningful improvement to enhance user control and experience. Currently, the Remove Option in Contextual Bar works via Generative AI (cloud-based), and the Contextual Task Bar reflects only this mode. It would be much more efficient and user-friendly if the Contextual Task Bar adapts based on the user's chosen mode of the Remove Tool. Suggestion:If the user has Generative AI turned ON, then the cloud-based Remove option should appear in the Contextual Task Bar. If the user has Generative AI turned OFF, then the on-device Remove option should be available in the same Contextual Task Bar instead of removing the feature altogether. This will provide a seamless workflow and give users better control, especially when they prefer offline or on-device operations.

Creative Cloud installs (at least six  (6) helper apps/applets.   In macOS Tahoe, these create some confusion as many of them don’t open.   Please recode them to fall under Spotlight’s Other section  

Indeed, this is absolutely not “Photoshop on iPad” as stated and promised in the lead up to launch! You must quickly include the Pen tool to create paths as this is a basic essential of compositing! Please do this quickly. Thank you.

Photoshop currently only supports up to OCIO V2.4, Please add additional support for OCIO2.5 so as to be compatible with latest standards

PLEASE ADOBE, get serious. We need this one so much and fast.My case (and I guess, many others):I'm doing some clean up in a ACES shot (32b EXR Seq), using After Effects (Last version) with Content-Aware Fill. When I create a Reference Frame (EXR, not PSD) it opens in Photoshop (Last version), and the problem starts:1) It looks all blown up in the highlights. When is going to be ACES Management automatic?2) After looking on several places, find a way to apply some color look up to appear similar to the AE preview in my DELL monitors. Ok, great! (?) Well, Not yet...3) When is Adobe going to LET US USE ALL THE TOOLS, including Generative AI in 32b?4) Ok, downgrading to 16b, simple isnt it? NO. The image changes and the aplied luts no longer looks the same. So...5) How to match color and levels in 16b to see the image THE SAME WAY I see it in AE? Work on it, and the save it in 32b again as it were before, and be able to see that EXR frame to update in AE to FINALLY be able to run "Generat

Is it possible to modify the “default” parameter when we change the Image mode to “Bitmap” . It's now by default to “Diffusion Dither” but it must be “50% Threshold”. The mode “Diffusion Dither” cause many trouble, because the picture became with multiple dots (pixels) instead of a uniform area. This cause major problems in the printing industry and designer don’t notice this issue.  

We often time use Photoshop to include paragraph texts in Photoshop files, so I request to add an abridged version of shape building capability like the one available in Illustrator. Presently we (at least I !) use Pen tool in Photoshop create some placeholders for putting shaped text in .psd files, which is a bit clumsy and many times not accurate, so a shape building capability will be a good addition.BTW, can the frame creating functionality be used for defining path? If so, please let me know.
