Premiere Pro’s snapping behavior is currently all-or-nothing. While snapping is useful, there is no way to control what elements snapping applies to in a flexible or context-specific way.For example, when editing music and using beat markers, it would be useful to snap clips only to other music or beat markers, while ignoring everything else (clips, markers, etc.) without having to constantly toggle snapping settings.Additional use cases:Ignore disabled clips when snapping Snap only to major beats, not every marker Ignore clips based on label color Ignore specific tracksRequested improvement:Ability to define snapping rules (what snapping should and should not apply to) Ability to save these as presets Ability to toggle presets via keyboard shortcuts or automation toolsThis would allow users to tailor snapping behavior to specific tasks (e.g., music editing vs dialogue editing), reducing friction and improving precision. Thanks a bunch!Tom
I’ve started working with separate subtitle tracks for my speakers, but unless I’ve “Toggled active caption tracks” using the eye button on the track, this message above shows in the Captions pane.I feel like this shouldn’t be a problem for the program to handle. Just show me all the captions in the active tracks. Add a column to indicate which track each caption is in. Is there really something configured on the back end that makes combining workflow and editing of captions impossible?(and doesn’t take up much more screen space, such as a whole pane per track). What is the unbridgeable disconnect between the user experience and the data architecture that I’m not seeing here? 🤔
Premiere Pro currently requires track targeting (V1, A1, etc.) to be toggled individually. In timelines with many tracks, this can be slow, error-prone, and makes it difficult to return to a known state. This impacts editing accuracy and can disrupt workflows that rely on predictable targeting, especially when using Stream Deck or macros.Requested improvements:Commands to enable/disable all track targets (video, audio, or both) Keyboard shortcut support for these actions Reliable triggering for automation tools Optional modifier-click (e.g., Option-click) to toggle all tracks in a categoryProviding global track targeting controls would make it easier to quickly reset and standardize editing state, improving speed and consistency in complex timelines. Thanks for considering this request.
Premiere Pro identifies displays using unstable macOS system IDs, which causes monitor order and naming to change after sleep, restart, or display power cycles. This makes it difficult to reliably identify displays, often results in program output being sent to the wrong monitor, and forces users to repeatedly reconfigure settings. It also breaks workflows that depend on predictable behavior, such as Stream Deck or macro-based setups.Requested improvements:Consistent display ordering (for example, by resolution) Clear labels that include resolution and, if available, manufacturer/model (e.g., 3840x2160 – Dell U2720Q) An “Identify Displays” button to visually confirm monitor assignments The ability to assign a display for output and have Premiere retain that assignment across sessionsReliable display identification and persistence would remove repeated setup and make multi-monitor workflows stable and predictable. Thank you!Tom

I often download multiple separate assets from my boards but they end up being name “project file name 1”“project file name 2” adding this extra step to rename files is unnecessary friction so a rename option at the point of export would be really helpful
Save as jpeg as a choice instead of just png - my clients want jpeg - would save me a conversion step
When I turn a transcript into captions, I also want to split each speaker into their own Subtitle track and do other mass formats and edits based off this. Whether at the start, when turning the entire transcript into captions, or later on if I forget or the need arises, I would like a way to be able to select all the captions based on filters in the Transcript pane.Surely it’s possible for the program toa) add this track-per-speaker option when converting transcript to captions, andb) retain a link between captions and their entry that they were created from in the transcript and be able to use the Transcript pane to select the captions that were created from them?
When I merge two clips, one a wav and the other a video with bad audio track, the new merged clip always has two separate audio tracks instead of one. Can we get this as an option please?
If I have several sequences in a project, and I use the ‘show duplicate frame markers’ option, Premiere only shows if I’ve used the same frames more than once in that specific sequence. If I’ve used a portion of a shot in one sequence, then create a new sequence and add that exact same portion of a shot, Premiere does not tell me that I’ve already used those exact frames elsewhere in the project. I suggest that it should - or we should at least have the option to switch ‘show duplicate frame markers’ to be either project-wide or sequence-specific.I know I can check in the Project panel’s ‘video usage’ column, but this only shows if some part of that shot has been used, not if I’m potentially duplicating a specific part.I’m now going to have to hunt, manually, for some unused bits of many shots to use as B-roll, with much tedious cross-checking through various sequences. Please upvote this, to save many editors many hours! 😁
When using Object Selection Tool - Select people, would be nice to have possibility to select Entire head alongside Entire person. When you editing portraits, it is really unpractical to select all heads by all their single parts.

Hi! I have a request to create sticky layers, so I can for instance stick Solid and Adjustment layer to the main video and it will resize together! You might say - just precompose them, but I like to keep them under control and not having 20 comps in one.PLease support me on this, because I am always bumping into microframes sticking out here and there.
When I click Time Stretch in AE I put in 50% to speed upt the clip to X2.In Premiere Duration I have to put in 200% to do the same thing.Could you please make it the same for both apps, because it is distracting and confusingThanks
Hello Adobe Dev Team! Would you please simplify the process of Removing the "Background" of any clip in Premiere Pro? I mean to make the Background of the clip TRANSPARENT. To achieve this important goal, a NEW One-click AI-Powered Effect should be introduced. For example, would you please install a trial version of the well-known "TechSmith Camtasia" video editor, and see how easy to remove a video background from within this App? All you need is to go to the "Visual Effects" tab in the left pane then select "Background Removal" effect and then drag-and-drop it on top of the desired clip in the Timeline, and that's it! the AI will do the whole job automaticlly & effectively! Thank you in Advance
Dear Adobe Lightroom Support Team, I hope this message finds you well. I would like to formally request the addition of full Arabic language support in the Adobe Lightroom application. As one of the most widely used photo editing tools globally, Lightroom serves a large and growing user base in Arabic-speaking regions. Currently, the absence of Arabic language support creates usability challenges for many users, particularly those who prefer or rely on Arabic for navigation and workflow efficiency. Adding Arabic as a supported language would significantly enhance accessibility, user experience, and adoption across the Middle East and North Africa. Given the importance of inclusivity and localization in modern software, I believe this enhancement would provide substantial value to your platform and its diverse user community. Thank you for your time and consideration.I look forward to seeing future updates that support Arabic language integration. Kind regards,Hatem Alshammari.
I swear you have no idea how to build controls for AI for video. You have to have multiple key frames, you need inbetweening of frames, for both video and images. You need to define locations/backgrounds, props, actors, camera, and lighting on a stage. Then manipulate the props, actors, and camera to hit the beats. I made amazing videos for free, but once we started paying, less than 1% is even close to usable. Backgrounds are grainy, they fade in and out, people disappear, walk through furniture or morph into objects. 0 consistency. You build APPs and UIs as if you have never created an image, animation, or video before. Everything works like an off-brand videogame, not a real tool. It needs to be simple to make what you want with repeatable consistency. I have been building in 3d cad, creating keyframes for products, and it works great on the first try, but the next 1000 tries are crap. You need to throw everything out and start over. You are not thinking of users, you are not thinking about the work, you are just coding without thought, without understanding the needs of your users.
Suppose I type out a prompt and attach a reference image and hit “Generate”. But I realize I used the wrong image for the reference, It would be really useful to have a stop/cancel generation button so I don’t lose precious credits over a mistake. This stop/cancel can be a “X” icon button when the image is still generating.
Lightroom Classic already supports USB tethering for a wide range of Sony cameras. Adobe uses Sony's proprietary PTP extensions, which are documented in Sony’s “Camera Remote Command” documentation.Sony has released an updated version of its “Camera Remote Command” documentation, which explains how to add PTP-IP network support for cameras supporting Camera Control PTP 3 (models released from 2020 onwards: A1, A1 II, A9 II, A9 III, A7R IV, A7R IVA, A7R V, A7S III, A7C, A7C II, A7CR and A6700).Please add PTP-IP support to the current Lightroom Classic tethering code, so that users of modern Sony cameras can tether their cameras by Wi-Fi, built-in Ethernet or a USB-C-to-Ethernet adapter (depending on the networking support in their camera). Not only would network tethering support be a worthwhile feature enhancement, but adding network tethering will help to overcome user frustration and Adobe’s support burden from the USB driver clash between Sony Imaging Edge and Lightroom Classic on Windows.
