I like the "Auto" feature and I use it heavily. Most of the time it gets me very close to a nice final result. Sometimes it just goes haywire but then you can do Undo and tweak it by hand. It would be great if there was an Auto buttom when working with a mask. Seems like that would be especially powerful when used within a preset.
It would be super rad if AE has the ability to have Project Tabs.A lot of other software, like Cinema 4D for example, allows multiple projects to be open at the same time, making switching between projects more seemless and allows for a quicker workflow. Is this something After Effects is able to handle on the backend? Would greatly depreceate the time it takes to close and open between projects, especially when working between multiple projects during the day. I think a majority of users will appriciate this new feature! Thanks!
Peak files are the biggest drain on my workflow. The process uses a chunk of Premiere's capacity, so I often have to import media into a project in the evening and let it generate all night - which sucks.I work with people who deliver me clips with 8 audio tracks, 5/6 of which are usually empty. Premiere seemingly still automatically scans every single track of audio on every single clip, when usually I either only need one track from one camera or no audio at all as it was recorded externally. (E.g. a two-camera interviews with 50fps overlay. One camera has audio input, the other is just generating audio tracks, and the 50fps footage doesn't record audio but empty tracks still appear to be scanned.) Of course you can turn off automatic peak file generation, but then there is a long-standing bug where you then can't even manually generate the peak files. All or none? Of course I choose all, as waveforms are crucial. I don't think it's too much to ask to have just a little bit of control over generating peak files. Let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions. Cheers,Max
Feature Request: Add Watermarking Natively to BridgeI’d love to see watermarking added as a native option in Adobe Bridge’s Export panel, similar to what Lightroom offers. This would be an excellent function to add to Custom Workflows. When I saw Workflow builder get added to Bridge I assumed the ability to add watermarks was added or coming. Why this matters:Lightroom’s watermark feature is excellent for quick branding during export. Bringing that functionality to Bridge and possibly Camera Raw's export panel would make batch workflows far more efficient. Many of us use Bridge + ACR for culling, edits and batch processing, and having watermarking built in would eliminate the need for Photoshop actions or external scripts.Suggested Enhancements:Support both text and image watermarks (PNG with transparency).Position presets (corners, center), opacity, and scale relative to image size.Ability to save watermark presets and include them in export presets.Be able to preview the watermark image of a preset to validate it's correct before running the batch.Be able to override preset settings so tweaks don't have to be first saved into a preset before applying to current batch (unlike LRC).Ideally, integrate watermarking into Workflows to be able to include this key step. Not Necessarily Suggesting but What If:Adaptive Position: What if after chooing a preset including the watermark image, size, opacity, etc. in a batch, there was an option for an AI engine to visually determine which side of the image (left or right) was less cluttered or opposite the subject and to place the watermark there.
Adobe Bridge should include a File menu option to close Content Tabs, with support for assigning a keyboard shortcut. Currently, closing tabs requires mouse interaction, which is inefficient when working with many assets. Since the File menu already includes options to open tabs, it would be logical and consistent to also include an option to close the active tab, allowing users to assign a shortcut and streamline their workflow. Additionally, there is an inconsistency in terminology: in the File menu they are called Content Tabs, while in the tab hamburger menu they are referred to as Panels. Unifying this terminology would improve clarity. If you agree, please add a comment that says "agreed".
It would be helpful to have a way to swap X and Y values of two-value properties such as Scale or a shape's Size. For example, if I have a landscape comp containing a rectangle of size 1920x1080, and I want to duplicate the comp to create a portrait version with matching shape layer, I need to unlink the dimensions of the shape's Size property, retype as 1080x1920, and then relink. If it were possible to, say, hold Cmd and click (or double-click) one of the X/Y property values and have them swap over, it would be a big time saver. (On three-value properties, like Scale on a 3D layer, I would still imagine that the most expected outcome would be to swap the X and Y values and leave the Z value as-is.)
Direction Blur Effect - Add repeat edge pixels.Simple as that. Any chance the effect could be edited to repeat the edge pixels?
It would be helpful to be able to perform math operations in the timecode field (top-left of the timeline panel), in the same way that these can be performed in property values. For example, if I'm at 130 frames, and want to move to 200 frames later in the composition, I could simply type "130+200" in the timecode field.
in The Generate video still in the sound of music so loud eventhough already notice no extra sound of music add to the video.please making sure no music added in Video generate.. it's hard for us to convert this video in to out mv music..so mess up sound
I want to submit a feature request. Sometimes, let's say in the case of event footage, the clips should be sorted by name, so that they appear chronologically on the timeline. In all modern cameras, recorded clip names are unique and in this way we can assume the chronological order of the clips. However, when someone inserts a bin in the timeline, sometimes this order isn't kept. One can only keep it if they select the first clip and then hold shift and select all the way down the last one. If this doesn't happen, there is always the danger of the clips getting a random order. So, when a first selection and in-out process has been completed, there is no way for these clips to be sorted on the timeline! I suggest a feature which will rearrange the clips, based on name, timcode, label, fps or other parameters.

Hello Adobe After Effects Development Team,We’d like to start by applauding the fantastic work on the Properties Panel—it’s a recent addition that has truly elevated our user experience! That said, we’d love to propose a complementary enhancement: integrating Composition Settings directly into the Properties Panel. At the moment, these settings have remained somewhat static for quite some time, and users often need to rely on scripts to make bulk adjustments.By bringing Composition Settings into the Properties Panel, we’d reduce the need for multiple scripts and streamline our workflow. This would make adjustments faster, more intuitive, and ultimately more productive. We believe this enhancement would make After Effects even more powerful and user-friendly, encouraging a smoother, more efficient creative process.Thank you for your attention and for continuously improving our tools. We’re excited about the possibilities!
