Hi. Like many others, I'm a photographer who has found passion and joy in film photography. From collecting vintage cameras, through taking ages to choose the right camera, lenses and film to shoot for an occasion, to eventually developing, scanning and editing my own rolls. It's a lovely way to slow daily life down, almost like meditation. What I don't love about it, is the fact that there is ZERO reasonable consumer scanning software out there. Silverfast always finds a way to induce anger into an otherwise peaceful process by exporting an entirely different file than shown in its preview, Epson Scan is just horrible to work with and Vuescan... I don't even want to talk about Vuescan. Wouldn't it be great if Adobe introduced Darkroom, an awesome alternative to all of the above? Software that could be used with consumer scanners like the ones from Plustek and Epson ánd of course for the DSLR-scanners alike, with the Lightroom functionality included (of course altered here and there to optimize the editing of specifically film photographs, for instance with an AI function for the removal of dust, scratches and maybe even excessive grain but also with frequently updated film recognition, to bring out the specific features of said film)? This way, one can easily and comfortably get MORE out of their experience, instead of actually throwing all of the good vibes out of the window as soon as the scanning process begins. With the resurgence and ever rising popularity of film photography and more and more professionals and hobbyists using analog as either a fun excercise on the side or even fully transfering to film photography, I'm hopeful Adobe Darkroom will one day exist. I just wanted to throw this out there and hope that others will agree. For now, a film enthusiast can dream, right?
Boards seems to re-compress files and thus when downloading them back off the server they are diminished a bit. So I tend to just use boards for organization rather than storage. Thus often I will have a lot of images on there and then will make selects based on my favorites. But then will have to source the original local file to ensure im continuing with highest quality version of the file. Currently the only way to do that is to compare image to image, can you enable the ability to turn on file name as a overlay/caption/comment/properties on the images. Would like to have some way to determine what is the file name of the image I am looking at.
HI!I work with a lot of sequences that are multi-camera linked/nested and I have a lot of videos I'm editing at once. It would be great to have the function like in After effects with linked comps. I'm aware of the double click to go into the nested sequence and shift+3 for cycling but the going back is cumbersome when there is a lot of sequence tabs in the panel. In AE, hitting the TAB key brings up the comp tree where you can quickly pick the parent comp to return to. Would be great to have this in Premiere Pro as well for nested sequences. Is there already a way to do this? Does anyone else find that this would be a useful function? Would this be possible? Thanks a bunch.Andy
it will be nice to have un-nest featuresometime i nest parts but i dont want to undo my editing just want to un-nest
Please add Poligonal Lasso tool or Pen tool with convert to selection function. Without those, working on Archviz is almost impossible in Photoshop on the Web. Thanks!
I would like to be able to Group tracks in my timeline when editing. E.g. when you do sounddesign you could group all the tracks with SFX audio. The it wouldn't take up as much space when editing other parts of the video/movie. Does anyone know if something similar is possible. Or if there are ways to make the timeline more organized?
I would love a text display in Media Encoder to show how many files are in the queue and how many are complete. This could be a preference you can turn on and off in Encoder. This would be immensely helpful when rendering large amounts of files - like when creating proxy files within Premiere Pro. There is currently no way that I know of to check how many files are in the queue and I would use this function to double check I have every file accounted for.
Please make the Quick Export a brighter color. Almost unreadable. Pref are set to accessible color contrast 2025.5 and beta
I would love the ability to record the "Collapse groups" shortcut John Nack mentioned here: http://blogs.adobe.com/jnack/2011/06/... in my actions. In my actions I often create lots and lots of folders that I'll need afterwards (workflow actions), which then stay open all the time so I have to collapse them manually. Therefore it'd be great to be able to record the collapse command to save time and improve the overview over my layers/groups.
Really I have no idea why in Boards I get 16 images if I ask for a variation. I was happy with 4 already. Why is there no option to set this back to 4? 16 takes up more space on my board, I get more images that I don't use. Don't we have to consider the environment as well, when rendering images?
Hello, I am very surprised that the part "Publish> Adobe Stock Contributor" not support to upload VDO file
Locked layers should be protected for change, not for peaking values. E.g.: the waveform of a locked layer can't be show - it has to be unlocked first.
Clip markers should persist with the sequence by default, not depend on hidden XMP settings or cache refreshes. Hi Adobe team, It would be very helpful if clip markers placed on clips inside a sequence transferred reliably when sharing projects between systems — even when “Write Clip Markers to XMP” preferences aren’t enabled. Currently, markers that look “in the timeline” are actually stored in the clip’s source metadata. This causes them to disappear on another system unless both editors enable specific XMP settings and restart Premiere several times. Since this behavior is unexpected for most editors, it would make more sense for Premiere to store those markers with the sequence by default, ensuring they always transfer with the project file. If some users prefer to exclude marker data, you could offer an optional checkbox such as “Do not include clip marker data when sharing projects.” This small change would make collaborative workflows far more intuitive and robust.
Hi there, When I started using Adobe Stock about five years ago, I was able to purchase extended licenses separately, without these affecting my monthly asset allowance. Lately, I’ve been running into an issue where I run out of assets halfway through the month due to a few extended license purchases.Would it be possible to separate these again, so that I can continue to use my full 750 monthly assets regardless of any extended licenses I buy? Thanks in advance for your help! Best regards,Jobert
Add Description to CC LibrariesJust like you can add descriptions to individual library items, I'd like to be able to add descriptions to the library as a whole. We have a global team and a lot of different CC Libraries. We do our best to name the libraries in such a way that the designers know which one to use for what. But it would be very helpul if we could add description information to help them.
It would be convenient and faster to be able to select multiple checkboxes in Remove attributes by the following: Click, hold, and drag over the boxes like when selecting mute/solo on audio tracks in a timelineA button in the window to select all/deselect all attributes, so I can then select only the items i want
In the Bin browser (project window) of Premiere pro, the "Sort Icon" mode in "Icon View" is set to "User Order" by default.Depending on your workflow this can be pretty inefficient, especially that the untouched "User Order" seems pretty random to me. In my case, I like to sort them by name in order to browse all on my footage in the order I shot them in. So it already happened to me to forget to sort them by name and finding myself selecting my footage in the random order that is imposed. Let alone the fact that it takes time to change the sorting mode every time I open a new Bin. I have at least 2 possible solutions for this:Let us choose the default "Sort Icon" mode in Edit>Preferences (maybe in "general" or "media"?)When we open the "Sort Icon" list, a "(default)" appears next to the default mode, and we can change that either by right clicking on a mode and selecting "set as default",Having a "Set default" option at the end of the list which opens a menu that lets us choose default mode.
