Feedback on Firefly and Proposal for Generative Fill in PhotoshopOpen for Voting

Dear Adobe Team,First of all, I would like to thank you for your continued commitment to innovation and for the recent advancements in integrating artificial intelligence into your tools, especially with the introduction of Adobe Firefly. The generative fill feature in Photoshop is a groundbreaking addition that makes the creative workflow faster, smoother, and more efficient. However, I would like to express my disagreement with the introduction of the credit-based system for using generative AI. I understand the need to manage computational resources, but I believe such a central feature in the creative process should remain more openly accessible, especially for those who use Photoshop daily in professional contexts. In this regard, I would like to propose the implementation of a dual-model system within Photoshop:a “light” model, either locally integrated or cloud-based, with faster and lighter performance, ideal for quick or less complex edits, and a “pro” model, powered by Firefly, offering higher-quality results and potentially linked to the credit system. This solution would allow users to choose the appropriate processing level based on their needs, optimizing both costs and efficiency without sacrificing the power of AI.Thank you for your attention and for continuing to develop tools that empower creativity.I’d be happy to further elaborate on my suggestion or provide additional feedback if needed.Best regards,Daniele Pelligra

Keyboard Shortcuts for Character StylesOpen for Voting

Photoshop's Character Styles panel is useful for saving text formatting. However, there is no way to assign a keyboard shortcut directly to a saved character style. This means that even if a style is saved, users still have to manually click on it in the panel or manually adjust multiple properties (font, size, color, etc.) to apply it.This is a major slowdown for anyone who works with text in Photoshop and needs to quickly apply different styles, especially to specific words or phrases within a text layer.Current workarounds are frustrating:Manually clicking styles is slow.Trying to record actions to apply styles often doesn't work reliably for text that you select with your mouse; it might only apply to the original text you recorded, or the whole layer.Desired Feature:Please add the ability to assign a keyboard shortcut to each saved Character Style directly within the Character Style Options dialog. How it would work (ideal):I define a Character Style (e.g., "Headline Bold").In the Character Style Options, there's a field where I can type a keyboard shortcut (e.g., Ctrl+Shift+H).When I'm editing text in Photoshop, if I select a word or phrase with the Type Tool and press Ctrl+Shift+H, that Character Style is immediately applied to my selection.Since 2018 I've spent hours upon hours trying every workaround, every script, every trick in the book, and frankly, my mouse hand is cramping from all the clicking. So now, I'm just here, politely begging: please, please, please consider adding this feature. PLEASE OH MERCIFUL PHOTOSHOP SOFTWARE ENGINEER GODS! My workflow (and my wrist) will thank you forever! PS. I know about InDesignPSS. Not everyone has a boss who wants to use it.🫠
