This isn't a software idea, but an interface idea. I wish it was possible to change the interface colors/themes with more flexibility. I think this goes for all adobe softwares, but black and white is boring. Similar to how you can in other softwares like blender.
If h.264 doesn't support alpha channels, why is it an option? I just wasted a bunch of time exporting all of my files in the wrong format because I figured it has to work if it's an option. Even RGB+Alpha is greyed out. So why not do it for the other alpha channel option?
Illustrator, in my opinion, handles this properly. It greys they menu item out. It's frustrating to accidently click 'Open in Bridge', which then automatically opens up CC and installs the app.
So I'm guessing that you haven't fixed the issue that there's no proper way to have a natural tail off to reverb?Reverb needs to actually tail off properly, not stop when the clip ends. Like with everything Adobe there's a ridiculous workaround, but considering the amount I've paid over the years I don't want workarounds. Mod note: New title was added.
Currently if your start Premiere and any projects or Productions that would be in your recents list (either on the Welcome screen or the "open Recents" menu item), are unaccessible then they are premenantly removed. Then there is no way to get those recent items back. I have projects and Productions across multiple hard drives and the recents list is a crucial and time saving way of starting Premiere and getting start quickly but if I forgot to plug the right hard drive in then I lose my recents and have to go hunt for the current project. I suggest the Premiere works like many other Adobe apps, and the welcome screen and recents lists:Show all the projects/productions, where hard drives are connected or notLabel those projects/productions that are current unaccessableMake the path to the project/production visible in the list (rather than just on hover (for the Welcome screen)Make it possible to manually remove items from the Welcome screen recents listAll of this would make starting and jumping between projects far easier and make Premiere for more consistent with other Adobe apps that presist recent files even if they are not accessible

Something I run into a LOT, is when I label a sequence in the bin, I would also like the option to have the label color be visible in the timeline tabs- so it's easy to distinguish between sequences when viewing the timeline. Thank you for your consideration!
I'm making training video. Only one clip on the timeline right now. Added clip markers to highlight button presses and at the beginning/end of sections that needed to be sped up by 400% (loading screens) Sped up both sections, back to front, with an un-edited section in the middleDragged out the 4 split handles to ease into the speed effectWhen I looked back at the timeline, the markers for button presses were shunted to sit at arbitrary points in the second remapped section, fixed relative to the beginning of the clip, not on the frame they were supposed to mark. I expected markers toscale the distance between any markers in a sped-up section proportionallymaintain the spacing between any markers in a contiguous section of the same speed, and between them and the end of the most recent remapping change before themstay with the same frame in the original, un-remapped clip Currently they treat the clip as though it hasn't been remapped, only marking time since the beginning of the clip, regardless of what's happening at that point. In Premiere Pro, when exporting a video and typing a new file name, the text box is so small. I can barely see the "." right before the mp4 extension. Is there a way to make that bigger? Or have an option to make it bigger? It was perfect before the last couple of updates. Thanks!
When are we going to get .jxl file support? I edit and export my HDR content in Lightroom but then can't import them into Premeire for a slideshow??

I would like to see a tool for removing lens flare when it is created from a light source, like the sun, that is outside of the image. This flare is usually the shape of the iris opening in the lens or shutter. It will be a bright colored area that still contains the image detail. Surly some sort of AI tool could correct this bright area while preserving the detail.
I am using the ARM version of Lightroom. When I shoot in JPEG + RAW on my camera, Lightroom imports both formats during the batch import. Since I only want to edit the RAW images, I end up deleting all the JPEG images after importing them. This process is time-consuming and cumbersome, so I would like to be able to select the image format to import when transferring images from the camera.
Lightroom Classic does not seem to allow making a develop preset for healing. This would be HUGELY beneficial when dust spotting multiple images. If there is a way and I've missed it, please let me know. Otherwise, consider this a request for a very helpful improvement.
I really wish Lightroom Classic would not strip metadata when it makes a slide show (at least as an option). I often make slide shows just to visually label my pictures to show people but then all the metadata goes away which make them much less
When installing adobe on a new computer, i realized there is no way to change the installing path of the program. This is really needed when working on a computer with a really small main drive, which you need to keep as empty as possible to keep the computer running. And having a really big drive that has plenty of space for Adobe programs and its temporary files.
For Frame IO users.1. Video Editor transcribes a video using Premiere.2. Video is uploaded to Frame IO for review. The Premiere created transcript is also included.3. Frame IO reviewer reviews video AND transcript along side of each other in a Frame IO panel.4. Frame IO user makes corrections to spelling and punctuation inside the Frame IO transcript 5. Video editor can download and import the corrected transcript.6. Video created subtitles and captions with the corrected transcript from the Frame IO user.
Hi all, The addition of a local tab in Lightroom cloud desktop has been a game changer, and led me to move away from Lightroom classic. I would love to see the addition of the local tab on Lightroom mobile, allowing browsing and editing of files on external disks attached to an iPad! Cheers!
Hi all! I use an iPad (Air 5th Gen) in my workflow during photo trips. Each day, I backup the card (CFX-B) from my camera (Nikon Z8) to an external SSD and then make an initial cull and selection of images for upload/edit using Lighroom. When I add photos to Lightroom (v 10.1.1) directly from the card or camera, the image previews are a reasonable size and I have the ability to pinch zoom the previews to see which is in focus or a good composition (see screenshots below). If I try to do this from the file structure on the SSD backup (if, for example, I did not have time to cull on the day and the card had been erased for the next day's shoot), then the "add photos from files" option in Lightroom only allows small previews and does not allow zooming of the images. This makes it impossible to check which image is best for culling and uploading! Can the preview/zoom functionality of the "add photos from card/camera" please be replicated in the "add photos from file" option? Thanks!
It would be very helpful if you could enable multi track display for captions. Alternatively if it is only possible to display one caption track at a time have caption subtracks/child tracks that can be individually styled differently from the parent track. If that is not a possible at least a feature to apply caption styles to individual caption blocks rather than entire tracks to achieve the above described functionality. This could be immensly benifficial and save a tone of time and error captioning multiple speakers that step over each other, instead of having to style each caption track, often repetitively, individually, the user could style multiple blocks at the same time applying saved styles with one click to each track or a group of selected caption blocks.
Similar to the new warp tool in the 3d view it would be super effective to have a way to do that in the 2d view, similar to what photoshop does. I find myself switching over to photoshop to do this currently for clothing seams when I want things to ride along the edge of a uv island. I feel like the tools are already there they could just be added to the 2d view. I'm assuming its not that simple but really think this would be a very solid tool. Ive tried doing this with the current warp filter but its just too hard to control and with a gradient and is very limited in functionality.
This used to be super easy to do back in the day in Final Cut Pro 3! It has always bugged me that I cannot simply press a modifier key and lasso over a bunch of clips on my timeline. Look at the image below. There are no gaps between the clips. So if I wanted to select ONLY the video or audio clips on V1 or A1 I would have to manually click on each clip one by one!!! I cannot simply lasso over the clips that are on the "inner" tracks. This becomes an incredibly annoying issue when I'm doing audio mixing. For example, if looking at the attached image, there are a few things I would want to do in this case. First, I want to select all the camera audio which is on A1 and disable those. I do not want to delete them, I still need them for later. Well, I can't do that because there is no empty space around those clips. Then I would want to select all the audio on A2 and bump it up. Again, cannot do that. Then, I will want to select all the audio on A3 to match it with the audio on A2. Now, that last part I can do because there is an empty space on A4 that I can click on and then lasso over all the audio clips on track A3. But I cannot do that for the clips that are on audio tracks a1 and a2! Why? Mod note: Edited for content. This is a user-to-user forum. Please do not post using all caps on this forum. It is against our community guidelines to "shout" at anyone, including Adobe employees. I removed them. Thank you.
Hi,I would love it if I could make changes, then apply them to an existing "version". Basically overwriting what's saved as that version with the new edit.-MattPS - Your Feature Request and Bug Submission form page shows no form to fill out.https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html
