Build better products with our product team
Hi,I would love it if I could make changes, then apply them to an existing "version". Basically overwriting what's saved as that version with the new edit.-MattPS - Your Feature Request and Bug Submission form page shows no form to fill out.https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html
In the previous version of Premiere Pro, I was able to add multiple captions and make them visible in order to have English/Spanish on screen. But in the latest version (Version 15.0.0) only one track of captioning is available. This makes it hard for those of us who are working on making our videos accessible to multiple audiences. Please bring back the ability to have multiple tracks of captioning visible at the same time.
Sometimes when I am working in hand painted texture, I wanted to go in details and work on few uv shell at the time, but I am still want these details to be in one layer, without necessarily split them into different layers using masks and geometry mask. A selection mode can be done as 2D software and selects uv shells that I want to restric, plus selecting geometry as geometry mask. This selection is a temporary restrictions for when going to details while people don't have to worry to paint over some strokes outside of the selected areas.
Currently, only 'Comments Markers' have their 'Comments' field visible within the Marker window; Chapter/Segmentation/Web Link-type Markers have their 'Comments' field hidden within the Marker window, even when those fields have existing data. This appears to be intended behavior, according to other posters on these forums , but the official Adobe documentation on this is pretty sparse.I'd love to be able to use different Marker types for automation workflows on my team, such as importing edit sheets directly into relevant sequences but using the Marker 'type' to drive how those Markers are handled by different automations and plugins. But right now, the other users on my team would have to individually click into each Marker in order to read the Comment if it was one of these alternate types. I could jury-rig something similar by adding a "[Chapter]" string at the end or beginning of a Comments field and parsing that somehow, but I'm not currently seeing a strong argument for hiding the Comments field in alternate Marker types anyway. I do understand that some Marker types were originally intended for different applications that aren't as relevant in the industry today, but as long as they're in there, why not make them more useful by flipping the visibility on?Thanks for reading!
I propose to implement an AI Video Denoiser feature that enables users to remove noise from selected video segments directly within the timeline, bypassing the need for external software or plugins. This tool should leverage advanced AI algorithms to deliver superior noise reduction results while maintaining video quality.Justification:Enhanced Quality: Current solutions, like Premiere Pro's VR De-Noise effect, are basic and often produce subpar results. A robust AI-powered denoiser would provide a significant improvement in output quality.Streamlined Workflow: Users can clean up video noise directly in the editing timeline without the hassle of exporting to third-party tools or installing additional plugins.Competitive Advantage: A high-quality denoiser would position the platform as a go-to choice for professional editors who require efficient and effective tools.Wider User Appeal: The feature would cater to both professional videographers and casual creators, addressing a common pain point in video editing.Key Features:AI Noise Reduction: Advanced algorithms that adapt to various types of noise (e.g., low light, compression artifacts, grain).Selective Application: Allow users to apply noise reduction to specific video segments or areas.Customizable Parameters: Enable users to adjust intensity levels to balance noise reduction with video clarity.Real-Time Preview: Provide real-time feedback in the timeline to simplify fine-tuning.This feature would empower users to achieve professional-grade results efficiently, elevating the platform’s standing in the competitive video editing landscape.
Can someone please update the Preview Window in the Project Panel. It's like it's not been touched since the beginning of time. On modern monitors it's tiny! Pretty much pointless, at that size, in some cases. Please update it, Adobe.I (and I'm sure lots of others) would love to be able to resize it (the thumbnail image/video), or even pop it out onto it's own panel or something, where it can be scaled like a regular window. Or could the 'Preview' panel have a 'show thumbnail' option? Surely this isn't a big lift...? Thank you
Looks like the new Photoshop 2025 removed the ability to remove the very annoying defult setting of auto nesting layers in artboards. Now you have to change it on each layer. This is a major fail as I have never seen the need to auto nest anything and now instead of being able to change it at a file level I have to change it at a layer level. Please Please Please revert back and go further to make it a defult that you do NOT auto nest layers. It is useless and annoying.
Can I turn this warning off? I have never even used the feature of Preview Files. And can you please fix this bug? If there are no preview files, then there are none to delete. Steps to reproduce:Create a new projectCreate a new sequence from footage (e.g. a single video file)Change the Frame Size under Sequence > Sequence SettingsGet warning message
In Premiere Pro, it would be incredibly helpful to have the ability to lock both the Properties Panel and the Effects Control Panel to a specific clip, similar to how this functionality works in After Effects. This would allow users to maintain focus on one clip's properties and effects, even while selecting or working on other clips in the timeline.I'm in a situation where I keep having to click on the same clip to adjust its properties. and this would just make sense. This is the feature in After Effects.
Hey Editors and Adobe Officials! I'm a video editor on Premiere Pro & I work a lot with captions, I add captions to sometimes 15-20 min videos, and my clients like the captions done very neatly and properly, I have to thoroughly check all the captions and change their duration sometimes, for example to split sentences if the speaker is taking pauses, or adjust them smoothly to match a new camera angle by delaying changes until just before the angle shifts, and much more. I use ripple trim (Q and W keys), and also Extend edit to playhead (Shift+Q and Shift+W). They both are extremely useful and efficient for my workflow but they do not work in the captions track even after ensuring the caption track is targeted. Ripple trim works on caption track but NOT the "Extend edit to playhead". Sometimes, the start of the caption and speaker are not perfectly synced, and in that case I need to use this feature. I'm not sure if this is a bug, or an un-added feature. Please give your feedback if you face similar situtation and I would be very thankful for this to be fixed, waiting for an official to reply and proceed with this. If you have similar issues, please upvote so we can get this feature added/fixed in the next update. Thanks.
I was trying to adjust the white ballance but I'm not fully satisfied. I had to take a picture of a room with yellow-orange walls. The flashlight reflected is yellow. Also the ceiling, which is actually white, is now yellow. Can AI Generate a "decoloured" room? But be aware that is different than Temperature or White ballance 😉
I routinely rename files on export to give a user friendly name to a file rather than DZ999999.NEF., and while I include the exported image in the catalogue the export process loses the 'Original FIlename'. This makes it impossible or at best very difficult to track back to the original RAW file from the exported JPG. Could 'Original filename' be included as a Metadata export item?
Hey everyone, I've recently started using DaVinci Resolve alongside Premiere Pro, and I’ve found a couple of features in Resolve that I really like. One feature I found particularly useful is the ‘Swap Clips’ command, which lets you swap clips to the right or left by simply hitting Cmd + Shift and either . or ,. It’s incredibly efficient for quickly rearranging clips on the timeline.I’m wondering if Premiere Pro has a similar function that allows me to move clips left or right seamlessly without dragging them manually. If there’s an equivalent feature or a workaround, I'd love to hear about it!Additionally, if this feature isn’t currently available in Premiere Pro, could the Adobe Premiere engineers consider introducing something similar in future updates? It would be a great addition for enhancing workflow efficiency. Any pointers or tips would be highly appreciated! Thanks!
The Puppets in Character animator feel like were being pandered, to the point that it feels like its just dressing up play dolls and nothing professional. Anyone wanting to animate for the most part, will want a very original charater to put into their projects. So rather that a couple hand fulls of limiting charaters with a few options, the options should at least be as vast as a video game that makes custom characters to play. It should be way more vast than a game actually.... but here is the incentive for you guys, you first gave us severe limitations, so have AI make a vastly increased character generator for puppets, with your templates and we would gladly pay extra for the more infinate character rig options.
In the Develop > Lens Blur panel, could you please make the 'Use Device Depth' option status always visible. E.g.: "Device depth: on" or "Device depth: off" or "Device depth: not available" Right now, users need to click the '...' in the corner, and all it reveals is whether the device depth is being used or not. Its an extra click for every photo edit. Showing the status would take no more space in the panel than the '...' if you used icons for the 3 states. Thanks (Lightroom Classic 14.1.1 Release)
Lightroom: Add 10-bit support for end-to-end 10-bit workflow. That is, Application->Driver->Graphics Card->Monitor for true 10-bit color. At the moment, all that's missing is the application. CS5 supports 10-bit color, why not Lightroom?
It would be nice to be able to select a clip or several and reset ALL the envelopes (volume, pan etc) to their default state. Why? Well if I’m getting a file from another editor who’s used a ton of clip automation, it makes it difficult to use the (excellent) Essential Sound Panel Level controls. Plus many times the clip automation is not really useable from an audio standpoint as the editor wasn’t thinking in those terms.
I nearly bought a new SSD for my computer becaus my 512 Gb OS and program disk was almust full. Luckily I came across the TreeSize File app from JAM Software, which was able to show me that Adobe logfiles were gobbling up 130 Gb of storage space in the Local AppData folder of my C-drive. By checking what files were stored and Googling them I found out that almost all of them - having the Windows/dmp-string in the name - could be eliminated. I freed up 125 Gb on my C-drive, avoiding the need for a new one.During my Googling exercise I came across discussions in the Adobe community forum from 2018 and before until at least 2023 about the subject of log- and other data being stored forever in the Adobe resource folders without them being removed. Promises to see to this issue so far have not been kept. Could Adobe at least mention the issue and its solution to prevent other users from having to invest in new drives without the need for it? Thanks in advance.
Creation of an API in order to update Stager scene elements in a programatic way and generate scene screenshot. That would allow to generate packshot of product a fast as possible.
I shoot most of my footage in 30 fps and would like an option to export Animated GIFs in the same frame rate (closest current options are 25 and 50, on version 25.1). 25 fps doesn't look as smooth, and I know there's a Photoshop workaround, but it would be great to have this feature native to Premiere and not have to pay another subscription for Ps or the even more expensive subscription for the whole suite. Thanks!
This suggestion is not about buttons and controls per se. I have a bit of a problem with the way the LR interface looks so dark compared and somewhat cluttered to other programs (such as Photoshop and Premiere Pro). I think it may be the very dark borders between and around panels. I'm guessingthe idea is probably to isolate the pictures, but for me it ends up providing too much ~contrast~ against the pictures. I would be very happy if this became customizable or just les contrasty.
Hello. It would be great to be able to generate selection passes (also known as ID or Clown passes) directly in photoshop. If you dont know a selection pass turns every item in an image into a solid color so it becomes easy to select later on for editing photos (image below). A lot of 3d artist use it, architects, movie industry professionals. I've seen AI software that does this aswell so I figure why not the king of image editing software, photoshop, to have such a simple and helpful feature. Even if the pass isnt perfect it would help save selection time. Consider photoshop already has select subject, this would just be an evolved form of that. Super helpful. Thanks for listening. Here is a video of an ID PASS
As mentioned: i create object selection masks very often in my ACR workflow and it drives me insane to move there the mouse evey time (even worse there's more than one click necessacry). Is there any hidden posibility to assign a shortcut?OT: no individual shortcuts in LR/ACR are the biggest disadvantage in this ecosystem. I'd love to change LRs "R" (why) to the wayyy more logical "C" (Crop) like in ACR and PS...
La función de "eliminar, debería ser un acceso directo junto a los menus principales de funciones de edición... Ya que eso ahorraría mucho tiempo, evitando los 5 pasos para poder eliminar una foto ~~~~~~~~ [Moderator: updated the title, and moved this to Ideas, where users can vote for this] "The "delete" function should be a shortcut next to the main editing function menus... As that would save a lot of time, avoiding the 5 steps to delete a photo"
