InDesign

The last few pages in my indesign are not showing up. I've tried the fixes that have been suggested, such as making the panel larger, clearing the data and the preferences. Nothing has worked and when I export to pdf, I can only access the lesser amount even though it's showing that there are more pages. The pdf is telling me that 340 is the max I can go to  but I need those other blank pages. According to the picture below page 345 is equivalent to 337. It makes no sense! I hope someone has come across this and can offer a solution, this is driving me batty!

Hello. I can't figure out how to change the JOIN in the text (Mitre Join, Bevel Join or Round Join). Bonjour à tous.Avant, il suffisait dans les options de "notes de fin" de demander de numéroter à 1 à chaque section et non en continu. Mais dans le InDesign 2024 et 2025, on ne peut que numéroter à 1 à chaque article et non en continu et là, c'est la merde : Je n'arrive pas à numéroter mes notes de fin à partir de 1 à chaque chapitre (et j'ai plus de 30 chapitres !!).C'était si simple de mettre un début de section dans les pages à chaque nouveau chapitre pour que les notes de fin soient numérotées à partir de 1.Quelqu'un a-t-il une solution, s'il vous plaît ? Hi there, I'm trying to catch words like we'll and you'll using GREP but as yet haven't succeeded. So far I have this...  (?i)\b(we’ll|you’ll)\b  This gets me pretty close but doesn't catch the whole word including the 'll.Please can someone point me in the right direction.Thanks

Tengo una lista de niveles integrada por nivel 1 y nivel 2, y ambos niveles pueden contener 1 o más párrafos, a los que he deseado aplicar valores independientes de justificación dentro del mismo nivel, pero, por ejemplo, al aplicar valores al párrafo 3, se afecta el 1 y el 2, arruinándoselos lo que ya estaba bien.  ¿Existe alguna forma de aplicar valores de justificación independientes para cada párrafo cuando estos pertenecen a la misma lista de niveles, o qué podría hacer en este caso para evitar que lo que beneficie a uno, perjudique a otro dentro del mismo nivel? Gracias. 

Can someone advise whether, when opening and editing .indd (InDesign files) via Box Drive, whether Box Drive recognises also the linked images and spreadsheets, and therefore opens these supplementary files in memory, causing Box Drive to identify them as being downloaded? 

Has anyone used the pantone connect subscripton to successfully convert a PMS to CMYK values please?The client has 2607 corporate colour which I need to convert for CMYK printing job. Using pantone connect the breakdow it gives me is:C 68 M 100 Y0 B0 It looks quite off.... (I know this is likely due to the differences between the inks)I don't have the PMS colour bridge swatch to check, can anyone confirm this is correct please? Thank you for any help!

I create engineering proposals and there are a lot of abbreviated terms that are used. I typically define the first occurence and then do a search for the phrase and/or abbreviation thereafter. In a short document, that usually works fine and is pretty efficient. Recently, I've started a larger proposal that has at least 50 abbreviations/acronyms (and there may be more after all authors have contributed) and was wondering how to write a GREP to find all of them in a document. Can any help me write a GREP or provide some guidance in this matter? Thanks in advance.

J'aurai besoin d'éditer un fichier texte un liste des lien avec le nom de fichier, sa page, sa position X et sa position Y (afin de déduire l'ordonnancement). J'ai fait quelques recherches (sur des scripts existants) au préalable mais en vain. Ne sachant pas écrire de script, j'ai interrogé ChatGpt. I am having problems with punctuation marks and bullets moving to the wrong side. The text does not appear as Arabic or Hebrew and going from right to left. It is only the punctuation marks and the bullets that mess up. It happens both when I write directly in InDesign and when I import word files. I've seen others having the same problem but can not find the solution. Any suggestions here? Thanks for your help.

I upgraded to Indesign CC 2025 and noticed that now when I place images in Indesign, the image resizes when I am trying to adjust the crop window. Before now, the outer placement box resizes the crop on the image, while double clicking inside the image reveals the resizing boundary. How to I switch it back to the old way of resizing? It is stretching and cropping all of my images in odd ways because they seem to be interconnected now.  Thanks!

I've spent hours troubleshooting why suddenly the end notes are importing into the same text box and therefore not linked. I've converted my Word doc to .doc, tried selecting static. None of these "work-arounds" are solving the issue. Is this yet another new another Adobe bug? Thank you for your assistance.

I have an Indesign Book with nine associated Indesign files; I'm having no issues with eight of the files when sharing for review. With one file, Share for Review was working fine, but after some significant changes were made to the file (pages moved, major design elements moved and adjusted) the Share for Review function crashed the app every time. But ONLY with this one file. Very notable point; the Share for Review of this file seems to actually work, and the updates I am pushing are reflected after each update – it just also includes an Indesign crash, which is super annoying. I am mainly wondering how I might check logs or otherwise troubleshoot/debug this file to identify what  is causing the crash?

Hello, I am using Windows 11, and when I zoom in or out with my mouse while holding alt, the Application Bar becomes highlighted.  This means that when I hit a keyboard shortcut such as "V" or "W", instead of switching to the Selection Tool or Preview Mode, the View or Window menu pops out of the Application Bar.  It means that I have to click inside the pasteboard or hit esc twice in order for the Application Bar to deactivate.  I know that doing this, clicking inside the pasteboard or hitting esc a couple of times, is a simple and small workaround, but sometimes it means I lose the process I was halfway through and also this problem doens't occur on a Mac.  I know in the grand scheme of things this is very small problem, but as I work with InDesign on Windows 11 most days it is a minor issue that is growing to irritate me!  I basically just need to find a way to ensure the alt key stops activating the Application Bar.  Are there are Windows 11 users

I think I'm in over my head. When I go to package my book, it tells me I have an error that 501 out of 505 (about) photos are in the wrong color scheme.  I've looked at as many posts here as I can find but haven't found an answer. I've looked at some YouTube videos, but I can't seem to follow them. In some cases I'm told to click here and, on the drop-down menu click here. The click here part I can't find. I don't know if  I want to change the RGB to CMYK. If you can tell me what setting I have wrong, I would appreciate it. I"ve tried to include the photos I thought were necessary, but if you want another, I'll try to get it.   {Renamed By MOD}

So I have this particular file that when I turn on the Dynamic Spelling to check Spelling errors, it underlines almost every word. I have checked the Preferences >Dictionary and it is already in english (See first screenshot below). When I check what is the spelling error under Check Spelling it doesn't seem to have any suggestions (refer to screenshot 2).  Other files that I open seem to be working fine, so I think it's just the way this document is setup. What should I check and do?  I want to have a correct workflow of using Spell checker rather than turning the dynamic spelling off. I want to know how to fix this?

Ok, so I was just checking on some responses to a post I made here a couple of days ago via my email and I went to try to click on a link that would take me to that post and instead I got an adobe sign-in prompt. I signed in with my email and it said I needed to put in my phone number. Put in my phone number and I got a verification call telling me to click '1" to verify. I verified and got a message saying that 150$ would be charged to my account and to stay on the line to speak to someone if I thought this charge was in error. Then the call ended.  My question is have you heard of any scams like this going around? I have a feeling the charge was a lie and if someone had come to the phone they would have tried phishing for my bank information (which I would not have given them). Also, this sounds very un-Adobe. If you have heard of a scam like this I'd be very interested.
