Lightroom Classic

Hello, I have a Mac Studio M2 and the latest updated version of LR Classic.I have a slideshow of 60 images that I want to export. Each image is already exported in JPG < 5 mo (to make sure the issue don't come from the images).When I play the slideshow inside Lightroom, everything looks perfect (smoth transition). But when I export the slideshow, then, some weird flickering effect happens during some transition (not all). It's like images A start to fade transition to image B, and then, suddenly, A become full opacity during a 1/10 of a second, and then the transition continues as if nothing happend. It's very subtile, but you noticed it when playing the video.  I first thought it could come from the player.I have tried to use different video player, always the same issue.  I have done some research on the internet. One guy suggested that it could be the codec used to export the video, and to re-compress the video with QuickTime, or HandBrake. I tried,

In LR 14.0.1 I have been trying to use the new 'Limit Preview Cache Size' feature.  But after 2 week there is no change to the size of my preview cache after multiple restarts etc.  I've limited the cache to 250GB, but my previews remain at 460gb   Any ideas how this feature works or shold work?   [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

I read that with the last version of LC (v15) and the latest leica SL2 firmware (6.2.0) it was possible to Tether via LC. But it is not working for me as the camera is not regognized by LC.Any suggetsions? 

I've searched and I see this question asked, but unanswered from a year or more ago. I'm hoping that someone will be able to give fresh eyes. I am getting the error:Lightroom cannot create a catalog named "Lightroom Catalog" on volume "OS (C:)" because Lightroom cannot save changes to this location.I have checked the permissions and they are set to Everyone, Administrators, and the profile of the user signed in as Full. This is a Windows 7, 64-bit installation.How do I solve this problem?

This morning I changed my billing for Lightroom from monthly to annually, in order to save the 50% price increase for the monthly billing. I asked if everything would remain the same with my account and was told it would. However, I just tried importing a DNG file and LR doesn't see it on my desktop (Mac OS 15.7.1/Sequoia) after downloading from my phone (iPhone 14 Pro/iOS 18.6). I have imported DNG files every day for the last year without issue. Can anyone tell me what's going on here? 

Dear Community,Here is my problem: I cannot display the "file handling" panel anymore.I tried the following:- right click on the header of another panel..weird as the "file handling" panel is not in the list of panels.- reset preferences- re-installed- same as above but moving the catalog to another HDD Thank you. Attached are: system info & a couple of screen captures  

How slow will be AI Denoise for AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 / AMD Radeon™ 890M?Will it take like 2 minutes for 30 MPx? or more?Does anyone have this CPU?

I clicked Read Metadata from files on a batch of photos and all the editing is gone. Is there any way to undo this and get them back?

The new implementation of Denoise in LR 14.4 has several bugs with Automatically Write Changes To XMP. As a result, it is not practical to use that option with large numbers of denoised photos.   - The Denoise data gets copied into the main .lrcat database file, making it two orders of magnitude larger and defeating the purpose of separating out computed AI data into the .lrcat-data file. Surely not intended by the original architects of the .lrcat-data file.   - Whenever LR is saving XMP for a large batch of denoised photos, e.g. after the initial application of Denoise or after applying a batch change to other Develop sliders, it isn't possible to switch photos in Develop until the saving completes, which can be minutes for large batches.   - After saving XMP has completed, spurious "Saving XMP for n photos" messages appear in the upper-left corner, even though the .xmp sidecars aren't actually being modified. Hi, I am having the exact same issue, background - I've got a brand new upgraded PC more than suitable for photoediting, everything is current in terms of updates, Photoshop seems to work fine, but not Lightroom.  I've tried all of the above troubleshooting, I did manage to get into a photo set for editing, but it froze with the first 6 images.  Now it won't get past the 'What's New' screen.This app was fine on Windows 10 with a lesser graphics card, what's happened here?  I'm paying for a subs for something I can't use?

On my Windows 11 and new Lightroom Classic V15, with the help of ChatGPT, I found a bug. When importing a raw file that already has xmp and acr sidecars, the edits in those sidecars do not appear in the Library module previews. However, they do appear in the Develop module. But, by using the Library/Previews option in the Library module to set 1:1 or standard sized previews, the previews are updated and properly display the xmp/acr sidecar edits. ChatGPT led to this tip after 3 rounds, and declares it a definite bug.

When using dark mode on macOS, export settings field text doesn't display (see attached screenshots).Switching to light mode immediately recifies the issue. Obviously it's easy enough to get around, but still annoying to have to switch OS themes every time! M1 MacmacOS 12.4Lightroom Classic 11.5

Nach dem letzten LR Classic Update habe ich jetzt wiederholt das riesige Problem, dass Lightroom die zuletzt genutzte Datei inkl. RAW, JPG und LR Ordner komplett von der Festplatte löscht bzw. nicht mehr vorhanden oder aufrufbar ist.   Die Dateien auf der externen Festplatte scheinen komplett verschwunden zu sein. Bitte um schnellstmöglichen Support, da ich meine Arbeit komplett einstellen muss, nach dem letzten LRC Update. Zudem ist LRC sehr langsam geworden nach dem letzten Update. Meine Kunden warten auf ihre Bilder, welche komplett verschwunden sind. Wo sind die eben noch bearbeiten Dateien geblieben?

Whenever Lightroom Classic is open, let alone editing, it slows my whole computer to a crawl. Delaying typing in web browser and super-jittery movement of windows.Now, in Lightroom, everything is slow menu-wise when importing, changing preferences, whatever. But, as soon as I add more than one mask, the whole program stalls and barely functions. Now, from my understanding, this shouldn't be happening with the specs that I currently have. LRC version 14.4Windows 11 ProIntel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700KF CPU @ 3.80GHz 32.0 GB RAMNvidia RTX 3060 12gb1 TB SSD with over 100 GB free None of these resources are going above 75%, with most settling around 50% in task manager. What could be causing this app to make my computer so slow?

LrC is pretty good at removing people...but not so good at identifying ALL of the people.  How do you select the ones it missed?  Just manully remove with the AI tool?

Hi All I hope someone can help me. I have been using Lightroom Classic for a few months now and have come across an issue today that I haven't experienced before. I edit an image then export (as usual), when I open the exported image there is added Grain/lines/spots added to the sky on this particular image. These are not present within lightroom.(The sky in the image looks like it's been printed when low on ink) I have exported to every single file format and I have tried each colour space without success. I have attached a screenshot of both inside Lightroom and the exported image.This is a 35mm film photo so it is naturally grainy anyway, but this is more than just grain. Thank you in advance! Regards Craig

Hello,   I recently had a call with Adobe support with no luck. I have found some threads on this but nothing presents a solution and it seems hard to find what the actual issue is.   If I edit a client gallery and use any healing brush tool or AI masking tool, the mask or healing brush/generative AI will get a red dot underneath after going back to the start of the gallery, my AI edits are gone....   I also noticed this happens 100% of the time when I quite and reopen lightroom, I can fix the mask, update ai settings but it just resets each time I open lightroom.   We tested a new catalogue, we tested a bunch of things with no luck.    We really need a fix on this Adobe it is killing workflow, not sure what broke this setting. I can't revert to an old version because I have lots of photos (I do 1 catalogue per year) and can't go back weeks of client work.   Also this catalogue was started at the begining of 2025 so there is no version 13 of this cata

Hi guys, I'm a real estate photographer and I'm having a really annoying problem that I dont know how to solve. I work with bracketing, natural light, and no flash and I have a Canon R50, I normally take photos with 3 stops (-3, 0, +3) to merge into lightroom and generate HDR image, perhaps I dont thing that Lightroom is working well with my photos when merged. Here are my 3 bracketing photos: And above is the result of the hdr merge (I always uncheck the auto adjustments option): I don't think that is correct at all, because when i see people doing this in tutorials, the result of the merging is almost perfect and the photo just need minimal adjustments, but in my case, the photo is extremely dark, with no window information and i'm having so much work to make this photos look good. And this happens always, doesn't matter the weather, the light in the houses, the light outside the windows, the merging looks always awful. Am I doing something wrong? Just f

The new update hangs, just showing the hints. I neither want, nor care about the hints, so why are they part of the update???Furthermore, as the only option is to close with the Task manager, I'm stuck. Also, despite paying Adobe £700 per year, every year, we are unable to express any annoyance whatsoever, and our posts are deleted. I expect help, not self-importance and over zealous reactions.
