1. LR Classic 14.1.12. Tested on Windows 10 and Windows 113. Steps to reproduce : Create a collection, move to slideshow module  Add music mp3 file  Hit "preview" or "play" Slideshow starts with music playing and then music stops before it reaches the end of mp3 and starts over from the beginning of the song - Reproduced for cases when mp3 length is less than slideshow play time, exact match with "Fit to music" option - Same problem when exporting video - in exported mp4 file sound restarts - When switched to version 13.5.1 on the same system (Windows 11) and created slideshow from the same files with same mp3 everything works fine    [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

I'm trying to install Canon Print Studio Pro onto my new laptop and everything I see says to put in the this location: \Users[user]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Modules, but I don't have a modules folder here. Do I need to create this folder or am I missing something?

My situation is, sometimes i'm on the road so I need to upload photos to my laptop and edit. Other times i'm at home and edit on my desktop (much faster). I need the work flow to transfer back and forth so i sync my collections i create to edit on both computers and the history of the edits trasnfer back and forth via sync.  The problem i'm running into is, I've synced 1 collection from laptop to desktop lrC. I have a bout 5 different collections synced under my From Lightroom tab. For some reason, on this new collection i synced, it replace about 25 photos with photos from another already synced collection. It shows the correct photos in the collection on my laptop, but on the desktop it shows a portion of photos from another collection instead.  Attached are screenshots, you can tell which photos go with what. Same HUGE mess of umpteen folders, but three NEW bizarre problems...  I need a really good answer that'll get this working...I've got a setup now with year folders from 2006 to 2022, holding around 30,000 images.  Now we've get to get all the OTHER folders imported into the years. PROBLEM 1This morning, doing a Synchronize Folders showed X number of images import.  Clicked the show import dialogue and started the sync.  It did the metadata update, then should have opened the import dialogue.  Instead a partial spinning circle where the folders were, that stopped after half a rotation, and the normal “busy” rotating circle for the curso.  Never opened, never finished, just hung.  Crashed LR, retried a couple times.And YEAH, since I KNEW the first thing somebody in here would say was “delete the preferences” I did.  Other than screwing up most things that were configured it did NOTHING. Tried again on a different folder.  Worked FINE

Wenn ich in LR Classic Masken verwende und diese auf ein Bild kopiere und beim Bild dann noch zB etwas ändere mit dem Pinsel, muss ich die Maske immer aktualisieren. Das kann doch nicht sein? Weiss jemand eine Lösung? Mein Workflow zB bei Newbornshootings.Ein Bild bearbeiten inkl. Gesichtsmaske. Alles auf alle anderen Bilder kopieren inkl. Maske.Bei jedem Bild manuell noch kleine Pickelchen wegstempeln und dann kommt immer die Meldung zum aktualisieren der Maske.

Bonjour,Aujourd'hui, j'ai eu un message d'erreur comme quoi le catalogue était corrompu. J'ai essayé d'utiliser un autre catalogue, mais le système s'est bloqué. J'ai un message sur mon écran "Lightroom - Ouverture du catalogue : Lightroom Catalog-2-v14.zip". Au démarrage, l'icone Lr mouline un peu mais cela s'arrête. Quelqu'un pourrait-il me conseiller quoi faire ?MerciJacques

What a waste of time uploading and downloading RAW files!!!  Why doesn't it just sync to the file on your hard drive with the same name in a designated folder???  Who thought that we could click sync and just wait for the files to download?  As professionals we use iPads and computers equally, we aren't just on the mobile 'Creating Content' it's work!Surely as this is one company the Cloud library/folder with it's adjustments could be migrated to Classic and then we relinked the files to those on the hard drive with the same name?  This happens with FCP, even from iMovie!Using an iPad to cull and do basic edit while off-site when on a job is brilliant and you can get clients very quick edits if needed.  Very slow with RAW files and the app needs to be on as it doens't work in the background without a power source!!!   But when it comes to editing them properly on a computer, it's a such a waste of time synching everything up.

Howdy, I face an annoying issue with photomerge (true for HDR and Panorama) since some days.I noticed this in the (as of Septmber 26th 2025) newst version 14.5.1 on windows 11 home.When I do a photo merge (as written regardless if HDR or Panorama) the process behaves weird.The progressbar goes forward until around 90% then steps back and the a second process kicks in "Saving metadata" which seems to be stuck. In this state the processes are stuck:  Terminating the metadata process does not help the other one still is stuck. I can terminate the creation process also and the respective merged image is indeed created. Of course having terminated the processes no stack is created and the created image has no metadata.Oh I tried with autosync on and off.What I tried so far:updating nvidia driversreplaced the catalog with the one I know from my other laptopdowngrading to an older version such as 14.3.1downgrading to the latest 13.x.x version (no success because database no lon

Already imported photo's appear as new photo's:I go to a folder (1987 -> LTS in this case) in the navigator. I click on ‘import' I navigate to the same folder (again 1987 -> LTS) I appears then that all of the images that are in that folder are new (when I choose ’new pictures’) while al of the images already are imported before. When I choose ‘All pictures’ Lightroom shows the same pictures as in ’New pictures’.  Step 1 - these are the already imported photosStep 2 - what I see when I click importStep 3 - the same as under 'New Images'

I've spent three days trying to change FROM capture time to the order that I want for images in a slideshow.   I've tried to followhttps://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/sorting-order-in-slideshow/m-p/14539253#M361302as well as two other adobe help/howto pages.I ultimately created a folder in the library module with only the 6 slides I want and in "custom order" (as suggested).   I move them to the slideshow module and they're in my desired order in the film strip.   But often when I "preview" I get "Preparing slideshow not responding"  and then when I 'preview' it's in created order or worse.   EVen the rare time it "prepares"  correctly,  I then get the created order.   I would really, really like to be able to do this so I could save and use them as Instagram reels.   But somehow I just can't get it to work.   I'm not new to LR - have been using it usually daily for about 15 ye

My LrC works fine when I use it. I have my photos on an external drive. But if I leave LrC open and go away from the laptop for a while it crashes (after about one hour, I think). Every time! Then, when I come back I get the message that an error has occured and that LrC needs to quit. When restarting it does a check, finds no problems and I can resume work.However, when restarting it does not pick up from where I was when the problem occurred. Instead it starts in the place I was last time I shut down the program in the normal way (Ctrl+Q). I have submitted the error msg to Adobe innumerous times, but no reaction from them.  I suspect the problem has something to do with my external drive, which is protected by BitLocker. In the beginning (when the laptop was new) BitLocker would shut the disk down after some time, which of course had consequences for LrC, as it no longer had access to the photos. I then changed the settings of BitLocker so that it trusts this disk

Dear all,  I was used to create books (240 pages) from my old imac in lightroom 6 and print them with Blurb. But this is the first time i try this operation with my new configiration : Apple Mini M4 + Lightroom classic., all pictures beeing shot with a Canon R5. And it went wrong. When i try to upload my new book (240 pages) in Blurb, it fails on the "cover page" upload step.When i simply try to export the book as a PDF file from lightroom, it works and i can read it perfectly in AcrobatReader. (Cover page file and all pages file). When i try to upload this pdf file via the Blurb website, it also fails with unexplicit error (just asking me to call my support line)I tried to upload some subsets of my books. It worked once for a subset that included the cover page and the first 45 pages, but it is not systematic. I'm constantly experiencing memory drain in Lightroom Classic. It seems to be a constant issue across all versions of LR, on different computer builds. On the latest versions, it's incredibly frequent and severe. I've noticed that it consistently happens when using auto masks and denoise. It also happens during normal work with brushes and the healing brush.An interesting observation: the program's performance is affected when the memory exceeds 8GB. It usually reaches 15GB and then stops. It slows down significantly.My system has 64GB of memory.Can someone help? What can I do?

when using generative ai on an image is it permanently stored on adobes servers? i ask because I keep getting generative ai failure notice with something about guidelines in the message when just removing people out of a photo

I am using LightrromClassic 14.5.1 on a MacBook with M1 Pro processor running version 15.6.1.  When I try to import Fuji RAF files they won't import and I get this error message:I did previously have a trial version of Capture 1 (now deleted) but I think the icon suggests LR thinks this is a Capture 1 RAW file??? Any suggestions would be most welcome.Thanks Terry

Hi all,i just have given my mac pro a new ssd and now i try to activate Lightroom 6.14 / 2015.14.Every time i start the program, it asks again to logon and to enter serial number. All old activations have been deactivated.OSX is 10.13.6The old Disk i removed had 10.13.6 and 6.14 too, and all has been working perfect.So where is the problem, where must i search first?Greetings from gemanyChris

Hallo zusammenIch habe einen Kathalog mit der Version 14.5.1. mit um die 330 Fotos. Wenn ich unter "Entwickeln" und dann unter "Maskierung" das Werkzeug "Objekte" gebrauchen möchte, passiert folgendens:Wenn ich drauf klicke erscheint oben ganz normal das kleine Fenster "Masken", danach wähle ich mein Objekt aus. Es ladet, dann verschwindet das kleine Fenster und das Bild friert ein. Auch wenn ich auf andere Bilder wechsle, bleibt das vorherige eingefroren. Danach erscheint die Fehlermeldung, dass das Bild nicht bearbeitbar ist. (Der Ablauf ist auch Im Video "Problem-Lightroom" ersichtlich).Normalerweise sollte es einfach die Maske erstellen und nichts einfrieren lassen.Um danach wieder normal arbeiten zu können, muss ich einmal Lightroom komplett schliessen und neu aufstarten. Im Anhang:- Systeminformationen- Video, welches den Ablauf zeigt (Problem-Lightroom)

Hello there, even GPT could not help me with this so here I am with my issue: I reorganized my photo folders on my Macbook using finder under naive impression that if I clicked later in LR Classic update folder location everything wouold be fine including of course my edits etc etc. Unfortunately this is not the case. I have been trying all the suggestions that ChatGPT gave me to avail. One example of what I mean: I have 77 photos under one folder whose path is Canon_R5_Photos/Milan by night bla bla. Out of those photos only the 40 are recognized by lightroom the rest no. I tried update foilder location: no, I tried moving within the LR Classic and back: no, the only thing that works is by going one by one photo. With this folder, that would relatively ok, but witha folder that has 100s of photos this would be tedious. Any solutions? Suggestions?  Thanks in advance

when I try to sync photos with AI edits, I keep getting an error message that says "could not update AI settings for 1 photo" or however many photos I'm trying to do. Also happens when I hit the "previous" button to try ot sync that way. 

I had intel 7800X intel extreme CPU, and I upgraded to 10980XE about $1100but nothing changed, then from help, they told me to change GPU, I has nvidia 1070, I upgraded to nvidia 4070 12gb, nothing changed.... Also added new RAM 128 GB, same.... I spent more than 2000 usd, and nothing changes....  Update: changed cpu Fan and case, 3 x 420mm cpu fans (arctic freezer) and 6 x 420mm case fans.Lightroom Classic is super slow in latest versions, especialy buiding previews....
