I have created customs pages in the book module and some of them overlaps so they are very difficult to see and select. Is there any trick to fix this or is it a bug? I have tried with different font sizes in the application prefs but not difference, now I use the default Automatic setting. I find now way to expand the page selection dialog. Here an example. I am a developer of the Lightroom Classic plug-in Excire Seach (https://www.excire.com). The plug-in uses the function LrTasks.execute to start a background process. The plug-in has been used by many users for some years and this part always worked well. Since version 13.5 of Lightroom Classic some Intel Mac users with the current macOS Sonoma experience the issue, that a subprocess of Lightroom Classic crashes (with a segmentation fault) when LrTasks.execute is called by the plug-in. It does not always crash but most of the times. LrTasks.execute returns the value 11. The newest version 13.5.1 does not fix the issue. I have attached the crash report generated by macOS (as txt because .ips is not supported to be uploaded). The plug-in starts several LrTasks and interacts with the LrC catalog before it calls LrTasks.execute. I tried to write a very simple plug-in that does nothing but calling LrTasks.execute, but it does not reproduce the issue.
I have a Surface Pro 11 with an ARM processor and it seems like Lightroom Classic doesn't recognize the ARM64 version of Photoshop and has the "Edit in > Open with Photoshop" function greyed out. I have already tried to reinstall LrC and Ps multiple times to no success. Lightroom Classic 14.4Photoshop 26.9Surface Pro 11 13" OLED running Windows 11 ARM64 10.0.26100 Build 26100 Issue: In LrC "Edit in > Open with Photoshop" is greyed out. What i expected: "Open with Photoshop" to not be greyed out. What i have sone so far: Reinstalled Ps and LrC multiple times in different orders. My guess: the x64 LrC version lacks the code to recognize the ARM64 version of Photoshop.
Over the past couple weeks, my star ratings aren't importing when I pull my images over from PhotoMechanic. This has never been an issue before. The ratings are showing up in PM, but when imported in LR, there is no rating. Really hoping to find a solution soon as this is how I sort my sneak peeks quickly from wedding days and sessions, and I can't go through re-rating over a 1000 images every wedding.
I feel like I'm taking cRaZy PiLlz Does anyone else have this problem? (Video attached)This has happened for me for years despite how many updates there have been to Lightroom Classic. Whenever I'm exporting a selection from a batch like this, every time, without fail, I will select somebody's shots, I will click print and then the print module will take me to a single image, which was the first image from the previous print selection.I'll go back and select again and then it will work. This will happen for every selection I make, for every batch of photos I take. What's the deal?
i've a problem in LRC 14.4when loading an export preset, the included path (export destination) is not updated with the path (export_destinationPathPrefix) from the presetthanks for any help!
I have a bit of a dilemma. My old Windows 10 PC got zapped by lightning a couple of months ago. LRC Version 13.4. Everything was backed up. Now I have a new Windows 11 PC. Downloaded LRC 14-4. Opened my 13.4 catalog and my presets are gone. When I look for preferences on my new Windows 11 PC, I see the following:C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\PreferencesLightroom Classic CC 7 Preferences.agprefsLightroom Classic CC 7 Startup Preferences.agprefs C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferencespreferences.wfprefs On my Windows 10 backup, I only see the following:C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferencespreferences.wfprefs I copied the "preferences.wfprefs" file from my Win 10 backup to the same location on Windows 11and restarted LRC. None of my preferences show up.Any suggestions? Thanks!RC
I can't see photos anymore that i allready imported in Lightroom
I've researched this issue and just stumped. I shoot with my Canon 1DX mk ii and the first 2 photos show up as good and the rest are grayed out like they already exist on the catalog on import. On some imports ALL the photos are grayed out. I think Lightroom think that they photos are already inside? I don't have the don't import dupolicates checked. I have done some things trying to figure it out. 1. Uninstalled and reinstalled LR Classic-twice 2. Erased on the Mac and then formated in camera a new card. Does the same on CF and CFast cards.3. Removed plist in pref panes.4. tested cards in Mac app Photos and it imports perfctly. Image Capture a Mac app also imports perfectly.5. Tried different CF and CFast cards same issue. Any help appreciated
I have been using the ('\') key to switch between "Original" image and Edited version. I have noticed that when making changes that involve "Cropping" that the "Original" image, being shown as the "before" also has the same cropping applied to it. This does not make it the "Original" image anymore, so I can't compare the full original against the edited image correctly. Is it supposed to work this way? I wouldn't have thought so, "Original" is original, not a cropped version of the original.I'm on the latest version of LrC (14.4) running on Windows 10

I am having a persistent problem with the paid version of Lightroom. Whenever I use the AI features, the application crashes, even though I have a very up-to-date system. I request a refund for my subscription or an urgent fix, as this issue is costing me a significant amount of money and time.
I have update Lightroom classic to 14.1 and I see that the picture name stay .cr3 and not change to .dng. and the function panorama doesnt work. [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]
So in PS when you print something your able to pick the ICC file that you need . So I came print with the PAPER that I want and need to use . Be it Red River , Epson , Hahnemuehe ...Why Not in LR ? LR has a sweet system or at lest it did. Looking at the " The Adobe PS LR Classic CC Book " He / it show ways to print that are no longer available on a MAC / Apple or that is what was told me by a text , after a hour & a half conversation . PLus sending two phone picks of the pages of the book .I'm SURE other LR useres would love the Upgrade . I sure would. On page 485 it shows the right hand panel having a PHOTO INFO to check and check extended ifo .Also being able to add info below the image would be great . >>> Richard
- LrC Version 14.4 (build 202506051112-5918896a)- Windows 11 Pro and OS version 23H2 on Intel Core i7-9750H- Select new Denoise (or Raw Details) from Detail develop panel- Expected result: denoised picture with access to slider and other options- Actual result: error message "An internal message has occured: ?:0: attempt to index a nil value"After clicking on OK the image seems fairly denoised, but the Detail panel options are unavailable with exclamation symbols on the right side. After restarting LrC, this denoise has been dropped. I tried this with all 10+ tested photos, taken with Canon R5MkII .CR3, 90D .CR3 & 70D .CR2, everytime with the same result. Optimizing the catalog didn't change the result. Using (PS 26.8 and) CR 17.4, the feature does work as expected. I include LrC System Info and screenshots.
I have a Windows 10 computer and normally when I add new photos from a memory card or flash drive, I download them to my hard drive. I can open and view the photos before and after I download them to the hard drive using the computers photo viewing system. I put them in a folder and then decide if I want to import the folder to Lightroom Classic. Today, I plugged in a memory card and all the photo thumbnails were represented by the blue Lightroom “Lr” badge. I could not see the images unless I clicked on the blue badge which then opened Lightroom and displayed the image. It did not import the image to Lightroom but it seems to have taken over my computers default photo viewing system. In addition, image folders that were already on my hard drive have been affected. For example, if I have 100 images in a folder maybe ten of the images will be the blue “Lr” badge and if I click on one it opens Lightroom. I did not change any settings in
You cannot directly apply star ratings to photos within the Lightroom import dialog. While the import dialog allows for various settings like file renaming, metadata adjustments, and destination folder selection, it doesn't offer a direct way to apply star ratings at the time of import. BUT I think this would be helpful.
Very frustrating. I have a new laptop and LrC 14.4. When importing photos from an SD card, I get the message "not responding" multiple times. When in the Develop mode when I am marking photos for deletion, it slows down and I have to wait for it to catch up. Verified most recent everything. I get this circle of noise on about 15% of images I process. These are from brackets of 7 images and don't seem to matter if it's a dark area or not. Always in a circle, and only when HDR processed in Lightroom. Version 111.4.1, but iv'e been dealing with this for a year.
I can no longer open Lightroom CC on my PC. It has worked fine for many years, but for about maybe two years I have not used it much at all, so it has been more or less dormant. I've used Lightroom on my phone instead. Three-four weeks ago I tried to open it again, but something seems to be wrong. I cannot find an answer on what it can be and how to solve the problem. I've tried to follow instructions I have found on Adobe's site (delete certain files, re-install LRCC, try an older version...) but nothing of that works. Once, a week ago, I could open LRCC when I opened it after I right-clicked on a photo and chose "Open with LRCC, but before that and now also after that time, it does not work. I've also tried to right-click on that photo and on other photos to try to open it. Here is what happens: When I attempt to open LRCC I get a message saying "Lightroom Catalogue" is damaged and it seems to try a repair, but it always abruptly ends and I get "Assertion failed"
For the last couple of months, Lightroom is crashing 'out of the blue'. I'll be working in develop mode, and suddenly Lightroom goes away, leaving no warnings or information. When I restart Lightroom, it starts in the same place as when it was last properly shut down. My work on the images is still intact, but I must go to the library module, find the folder I was working on when Lightroom crashed, find the image I was working on, and proceed with my work. I have updated all the drivers I can find. I am mystified why the program is crashing. I thought about uninstalling Lightroom and reinstalling it, but I'm not sure what happens to all my work and catalog if I were to do that. Could you please suggest some troubleshooting steps I might take? System info is below. Thank you.Don Lightroom Classic version: 14.4 [ 202506051112-5918896a ]License: Creative CloudLanguage setting: enOperating system: Windows 11 - Home Premium EditionV
Neuerdings werden für den Import von Fotos von einer externenFestplatte nicht alle Ordner der Fetplatte angezeigt. Was ist zu tun?
I recently found out that when i use Lrc 2025, any images i imported into the software would appeared darker and higher-contrasted than they are in other softwares, such as C1 and windows photo. I tried everything to fix this problem but it only seemed worked when i open the HDR option for my screen, but i believe this is not the right solution though. Are there anybody else who know about this sort of problem? Welcome to discuss and answer under this blog. 🙂
