Lightroom Classic

 I edit/process a photo (LRc 15.5) which includes several masks with mask refinement settings of edge and feather. After reviewing the edits I decide to start over and select the RESET button which then resets all sliders/setters to 0 or other baseline values. All values verified in Develop Module as reset I start editing the photo again with new edits and masks A sky mask (or other previously used mask which has mask refinement capabilities) is placed on the photo Mask Refinement feather - edge values, 10 - 3 seen in prior editing session still seen in the placement of the new mask just applied Photo again reset to baseline values. Photo verified at baseline values and no masks applied Sky mask applied to photo Mask refinement edge/feather values at 10 - 3 as seen in prior ediitng session. This process was repeated several time on several differenct photos with the same results. Mask refinement values can be reset manually or by hitting the mask refinement RESET button.

Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select an Ai mask2. Move any of the Refinements sliders from form the current value to another one and back to the current value but NEVER releasing the slider.Actual Result: A step is recorded in history but nothing changed from step 1 and step 2, the value chosen in UI is the same.Expected Result: Moving AI masks "Feather" or "Edge" sliders DOES NOT record an history step when the UI value is the same as before.Addendum: There is floating point difference in the values when moving a slider back and forth to the same value but it should not matter.Feather at 30 Feather moved from 30 to 30 again 

Hello, I have installed LR 6 on new machine. I can't activate it unless deactivated on other machine. So on other machine I did "Sign out". There is a message - "it will deactivate LR on this machine" - I clicked OK. Still can't activate. On my Adobe account there is nothing under Plans and payment->Activated devices. So haw can I use a product on new machine? I know LR 6 is quite old, but still it is something I purchuased and I want to use.

I’m shooting raw with an OM System OM-3 + 17mm f1.8 II.  Regardless if import is by “Copy to DNG” or just “Copy”, the inbuilt profile is not read.  Distortion is obvious.   In OM Workspace, the profile is read.  To get the correction, I need to go into Develop>Lens Correction and tick Enable Profile Corrections.  It makes the correction.  The dialogue box shows:Setup:   DefaultMake:   OM Digital SolutionsModel:   OM 17mm F1.8 IIProfile:   Camera SettingsI’ve never had this problem before, albeit with other OM gear.  It usually shows an icon indicating that the inbuilt lens profile has been read.

Hey guys! I am a real estate media company owner, and I have some questions. For stacking photos, is there a plugin or anything I can do to make the stacking feature better? I need to only stack 5 photos (As I do 5 bracketed photos) and turn them to HDR. The issue with capture time and auto stack both is it always creates groups of 4 or up to 10, and then blurs or doesn’t give me full HDR range. As you can see in my screenshot it also leaves the brightest exposure(which I need) out sometimes 

Lightroom bug - hit a folder limit and unable to select the newly imported folder.452497 photographs across many drives in one catalog.The S drive has 214341 photos. It's the largest drive and so had many more folders than the previous drives.S:\Master Photos\ contains ~1633 folders. I know that's a lot but that is how her filing system was started. Those are the sequential numbers from 2220 - 3853 but there may be a sub folder or two or deleted folder in there so that's why the number is ~ approximate.Folders are labeled "sequential number"-"date" so 3853-20150316Adding one more folder caused Lightroom 4 to not allow the last folder to be clicked on and not show any images. The T:\ drive (offline, collapsed and below the S:\ drive) was collapsed and the label was overlaid on top of the "Collections" section label. Since the latest Lightroom Classic update, I’m experiencing a bug when exporting files.Workflow:1. Open catalog with DNG files edited by a collaborator2. Save metadata (Cmd/Ctrl + S)3. Export JPEGs in high resolution to the same folder4. Use “Export → Format: Original” to copy those JPEGs to a new external folder (not added to catalog)Issue:In this last step, Lightroom randomly generates .acr sidecar files for some images in the destination folder.Important:- This did NOT happen before the update- Source folder does NOT contain any .acr files- It only happens when using “Format: Original”- It does NOT happen when exporting JPEG normally (low resolution or re-encoded)- It only affects some files, not allThis seems related to metadata writing or sidecar handling.System:- Lightroom Classic version: 15.3- OS: Mac 26.3.1 (25D2128)

When I attempt to synch new photos from my collection I get "synch error:. I have the collections set up to synch. I have paused synching in LrC, restarted my Win11 PC, restarted LrC but I still receive the same error. What other troubleshooting steps should I try?

Hello,I’m using Lightroom Class (15.2 release, Camera Raw 18.2) on a MacBook Pro (Tahoe 16.1).When in a folder in LRc it is only showing me images which are FLAGGED.  All filters are OFF but it is only showing me FLAGGED images.  In any other folder, it works fine.  If I turn on the filter “flagged” it shows me all the flagged images only.  If I click on “Filter off” it shows me the entire library (i.e. both flagged and unflagged images.)I’ve gleaned all I can from the web and followed all the “fixes” I can find with no joy.How can I change this folder to show me the entire library?Thank you in advance!Cheers.

I swear that I have followed all of the different methods, tutorials, videos, and threads.  Yet, every time that I delete a photo from Lightroom Classic, it remains on my Hard Drive.  Sometimes, even when it specifically asks me if I want to delete it from the disk, it is still there.  This ends up with me doing a tedious cross referencing to figure out which photos need to be deleted from my Hard Drive, and which ones need to stay.Please, if someone knows exactly how to make Lightroom delete photos from all parts of Lightroom, and my hard drive, please explain it to me as if I have no intelligence at all.  I appreciate your help.  Thank you.

Hi everyone!I hope I didn’t miss any already existing bug / issue posts for this issue. Here’s the short version again:After upgrading to Lightroom Classic 15.2, I experience an increase in repeatable and reproducable freezes with following crashes. Hi, I am relatively new to Lightroom Classic. I just spent the last 2 days entering photo meta data, titles, captions, tagging people, locations, dates etc. To my large collection of family genealogy photos. All of it has disappeared?!?! I entered part of it again. And it’s disappeared?!?! I have been reading a few forums and it looks like other people are having similar problems. Does anyone have a solution? Isn’t Illustrators purpose to organize photos? I feel like I can’t trust it anymore and need to move onto a different program.  I appreciate any help you can give me,M

In the attached photo, most of the people were found. But, one very obvious person in the lower left is completely ignored. Any idea what’s going wrong here?  Lightroom Classic 15.0.1Macbook Pro running Tahoe 26.5.2 P.S. I should note that it’s not that critical on this photo since I can just change the aspect ratio and crop all of the people out. However, I would like to know if I’m doing something wrong so that I can get it right for other photos. P.P.S. Here’s the original photo exported in lower quality in case it helps to research the issue.  

Why does LRC keep asking me to relocate the photo files at random intervals?  It does this with so many of them so many times it is growing increasingly infuriating. What it displays in the grid view of almost all the files. 

How do I get the parent folder “Pictures” to see its subfolders? I get the message “subfolders are missing in this folder, please relink” but “Synchronize Folder...” has not helped.Thanks for your help!Francisco de Lacerda

I am trying to make a print to fit the dimensions of a mat I have already cut. In Page Setup I set the paper for 13 x 19 Landscape, and set the Cell Size in Print module at 9.3 x 13.32, which is slightly larger than the mat opening. However the finished print measures slightly under 9 x 13. I am printing to an Epson ET-8550 printer. I have been printing lots of 7.5” x 10” prints on 8.5 x 11 paper and they come out the exact dimension as expected.

Import Keywords — Do Not Export flag not applying to existing keyword namesI'm importing a plain text keyword file via Metadata > Import Keywords (tab-indented, [bracketed names] for Include on Export = off, {curly brace} synonyms). It works fine for brand-new keyword names, but when the imported name matches a keyword that already exists elsewhere in the catalog, the bracket is ignored — after import, the existing keyword's Include on Export checkbox stays exactly as it was before, checked or not.Is this expected behavior (import merges into an existing same-name keyword and won't touch its Include on Export flag from the file), or am I missing correct syntax/an option to force it? Is there any way to set Include on Export via the import file for a keyword name that already exists in the catalog, or is manually toggling it in the Keyword List panel after import the only route?Lightroom Classic, imported via a plain .txt file (also tried .csv, same result).
