Hi, I have a MacBook Pro M1 14" (32 GB/1 TB) working under Sonoma 14.5.I have downloaded the latest version of Lightroom Classic (14.2) and I am faced with two issues:1) The import doesn't start. I wait for a long time and, after a while, I must quit LrC and restart it. Then, after a relaunch, the import works.2) Occasionnaly, when clicking on the thumbnail in the Library module, I get a gray window, no image. When trying to switch to the Develop module, the window turns green....Thanks !Robert
Can I export one catalog folder as a catalog to move to smaller hdd?
Why don’t keywords added to images in Lightroom Classic sync with Lightroom Mobile?Rick McEvoywww.rickmcevoyphotography.co.uk
I have a CC subscription, with Lightroom Classic on my desktop (Windows 10) and the Lightroom app on my phone/ iPad. It works brilliantly BUT keyword tags don't synch between the desktop and the app. Everything else does - including metadata changes such as title or copyright - but keywords entered on the desktop don't appear in the app and vice versa. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance for the help {Thread renamed by moderator}
Hi folks.. I'm using Lightroom Classic (updated) on WIndows 11 Pro with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti and have found that the Preferences pop up menu displays with the bottom part offscreen. I can't drag it up. It's the same on different monitors. I know it's there- I can hit Enter - assuming OK is highlighted.. and it reacts ok. If I set a screen to a higher non native resolution I can see it. But obviously I'd prefer to use the native resolution. This only happens with Lightroom. I've upgraded and reset preferences. Any ideas how I can fix this please?
Hobby photographer, I would appreciate suggestions for a Windows PC tower. Will be using 2 TB external SSD for image storage. Looking for efficient graphics management and good graphics card. Suggestions?
I notice after exporting a large batch or images, Lightroom is busy "building standard previews". And that slows thing down to some extent. How can I stop this auto preview buiding in standard while exporting? I don't need standard previews and want to move on with my tasks as quickly as possible. To speed up my workflow I usually only import with "embedded and sidecar" previews. But there are no choices for previews upon exporting.
I suspect my GPU is the limiting factor in my Windows 11 (always fully updated!) PC. Since the introduction of Intel's B580 GPU, I have been attempting to determine if that (or something similarly priced) would make a significant difference in my workflow. I do not play games. I do not do video. I do the usual e-mail and internet strolling. 90+ percent of my usage is in Adobe Lightroom Classic (organization) and Photoshop (editing). Since I do have an Adobe subscription, they are both updated frequently. I also use several Topaz products and Luminar's NEO as Photoshop filters. I understand they make more use of the GPU than does Photoshop. A similar query will be directed to each of them, too. I built this system in 2020. My motherboard is an MSI Thunderbolt Z490, which runs an Intel i9 11900K (originally an Intel i5) and has 64 MB DDR4 RAM. To upgrade the CPU I would have to upgrade both the motherboard and the RAM. The boot drive is a 1TB Samsung NVME SSD, the scratch
Even after uninstalling and reinstalling Lightroom Classic, the issue persists on both Windows and MacBook. The colors apply correctly only to JPG files, but not to RAW files. I was told that the preset should work properly on RAW files, and this seems to be a rare issue. How can I fix this? [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]
I'm using the latest versions of Premiere Pro and Lightroom Classic (via Adobe Cloud Suite). I'm trying to open a MOV file in Premiere Pro from my Lightroom Catalog, but the option is greyed out. Does anyone know how to make that accessable again?
I am running Adobe LR Classic CC on a new PC, which is replacing my old one. Now, when I want to transfer keeper photo files from the local drive to the NAS mirror storage, it is agonizingly SLOW! The extremely slow transfer speed is not acceptable, especially since these are large data files (photos). My old PC was hard-wired and it transferred files quickly and easily. Not so with the new PC, which is connected to the network wirelessly. Will I see any gain with it being hard-wired by ethernet cable? (I have a CAT 6 cable I can use, just need to make room on the router for it to plug in.)Thanks.
Lightroom Classic v14.2Windows 10 ProIn the file export window, If I select "Copyright Only" for meta data setting, no file will be generated. The "Write Copyright" setting for the camera is set to Off so the field would be empty. In the History panel, it'll list "Export - Hard Drive..."Once I change the setting to "All except camear RAW" then file exports as expected.
I import all my RAW files to Lightroom and edit them without converting them to DNG format. With that last software upgrade, LR is converting all my RAW files to DNG. I don't want this. It is super-time-consuming. How do I stop it from converting my files?
As cores ficam diferentes.
Hat also 270 Watt gezogen.
All, I have several psdt files that I would like to manage in LRC but I am unable to import or view the files. In my finder there is no thumbnail either. I am left with having to open the file via PSD or use the online library with Adobe taking up my online memory space. I just need to see what the file is via a thumbnail. Any suggestions?
There is a tiny white star in the bottom right of one of the folders in the library module. What does that indicate?
Hi!I'm considering buying a thin and light equipped with Intel's new Ultra line CPU, the Core Ultra 5 125H.The laptop specifically is the Lenovo Ideapad Pro 5. I mainly do event/concert photography, and want to carry my laptop with me, so I can shave some editing time off during travel. My current laptop is quite bulky and has a not-so-colour-accurate screen.Just wondering if anybody has used Lightroom with this or another CPU from the Ultra series and what their experinces are? https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/intel-hopes-reinvent-pc-core-ultra-soc-bob-o-donnell/" For example, Intel said that Adobe’s full Creative Suite and the open-source Blender application will be among many applications supported with its first-generation AI accelerator"This is from late 2023 so also wondering if anything came of this.
The map search function stopped working yesterday. The search function worked normally yesterday, but stopped responding during a work session. I am running ver 14.0.1 Lightroom Classic in Windows 11 Pro. I can drag photos from the tray and place them on the map without any issues. I see this was an issue previously and it is curious that it appears to have come back. Is anyone else having this issue?
In October of 2024 I upgraded to Lightroom 14.2. After the download/install 7 folders went missing and I can't seem to find them. These folder represented 15,000 images taken in Sept. and October 2024 that took a month to edit and cull down to 3000. Does anyone have suggestions on how to locate these folders short of calling Adobe customer service for help. The thought of having to download and edit these images again is depressing me a great deal. [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]

Hi there, I've go a huge problem with LrC version 13.x.x. The first version I've tested was 13.0.1 and it was a catastrophe. So I switched back to 12.5. with all the hassle that comes with going back to an older catalog version. I've skipped 13.0.2 and now I thought I'll give 13.1.0 a try. At first it seemed to be okay, but it got worse. The crashes happen randomly. There's no pattern to it. Sometimes it's happening while working with LrC (I had the suspicion that Point Color might be the cause - but it's not), sometimes it's happening while the program just sits in the background and I'm doing something else and sometimes (I might better say often) it crashes during startup. It's not uncommon that I need 3-5 tries to get it started. My latest (and also current experience):Since it was running relatively stable the last few days (maybe only 1 crash per day), I upgraded the Excire Search plugin yesterday. After that Excire has to reinitialize all images. I initi
Dear Adobe team, I like and i rely completely on Lightroom Classic for my tens of thousands of Nikon NEF files per year. Recently, when critically reviewing images taken with the Nikon Z 6 III (24-120 f4, 24-70 f2.8 and others) and comparing them with images edited using the exactly the same editing pipeline (using almost 100% the "Camera Neutral" profile) i've discovered a relatively strongly visible issue: the tint isn't equal across the frame. The left side and corners of the frame seem to have an at least +10 tint compared to the centre but also compared to the right side of the frame. This is not the case for my Z 6 images. I can of course not rule out at the moment that this is a camera issue but may be i'm not the only one seeing this? Happy to share sample files (particulary visible with winter images of snow and blue sky across the frame (where the tint is visibly variable across the frame). Thanks in advance, and best wishes, Steffen
