Lightroom Classic

PC, LrC 14.1.1, Print Module, lower left corner:  I only have one button PAGE SETUP, and that opens up the (incorrect) Print Setup dialogue box.  On a MAC there are TWO buttons, one "PAGE SETUP" and one "PRINT SETTINGS"  I only have the one button, and it opend up the incorrect dialogue box, which is a probkem, because I want to make a custon paper size.  I have uninstalled/installed LrC.

Hi everyone, I have a question below:since lightroom classic update version to 10.4, everytime I import files, library show importing and stuck.The UI can click, menu can popout, even preferences window work fine, but you can not see any photo in any flodersBut when I foce lightroom close and repoen, files have imported and library preview is ok.The issus just happen when after import file.I have record a video, and hope you can help me, thanks a lot         and here is system info:Lightroom Classic version: 10.4 [ 202108071231-af9219b9 ]License: Creative CloudLanguage setting: enOperating system: Mac OS 11Version: 11.5.2 [20G95]Application architecture: arm64Logical processor count: 8

I am using a Nikon Z8 shooting RAW and then download images to Lightroom Classis. For some unknown reason when I click on AI Denoise the Enhance panel shows Loading Enhance data, it loads then the Enhance Preview panel- denoise amount slider does not appear. I have uninstalled then re installed lightroom classic but still not happening as it was a few weeks ago.Certainly appreciate some guidance on this please.

I updated Lightroom Classic to 14.1.1 this morning on a PC laptop and it fails to run properly. I've updated the NVIDIA Graphics card and selected the creators option. Restarted LRC and failed again. Disabled the card use in Preferences menu in LRC, still no improvement with freezing in Develop. On the rare occasssion when I do get past this point and try to export, I get an error result stating there was not enough memory to export. I have checked my system and believe that I have sufficient hardware.My question is why does Lightroom 'System Info' shows I'm running Windows 8 when in fact I'm running updated Windows 10? Would appreciate the help, cheers.

 By pasting a new photo into LRC, I have a different exposure in the library and in develop. I have already changed all possible settings. I wrote with GPT Chat, nothing helped. There are camera settings, no filters. New previews, the view shows a normal photo and the develop one is heavily overexposed. The white balance is set as in the shot. I can't fix this. I'm asking for help.

All, I made two copies of a photo as I was editing different versions.  I was working on Copy2. When I saved Copy 2 from photoshop editing all three files were updated to the Copy 2 edits.  Becuase I flattened the image prior to saving the layers were committed and I am unable to get the original file back. I have not deleted the file from my camera so I still have an original file but this is quite troubling.   The file in lightroom shows the "copy" version in the name but when opened in photoshop it appears to drop the copy.  When I export the file it is not keeping the copy name and just exporting the original file.   The file I was working on was copy 2 in lightroom classic and opened into Photoshop to edit.  Saved in Photoshop and the system updated all filed to the new edits. Please advise     

Normally this is fine. I share album links often and normally you just click the link and can view the shared iages . However now the link is blank. I have unshared and shared again and still the same.

I am using lightroom classic 14.1.1 on a Macbook Pro Sequoia 15.3 and can no longer export images (the process starts but nothing happens) nor "Edit In" to edit images in photoshop or xposure. I uninstalled Lightroom and reinstalled it and reset preferences and that didn't help.

I have a Canon R5 mk2 and a computer running the latest Windows 11 with Lightroom Classic ver. 14.1.1 installed. The problem I have is downloading photos via a card reader. I can down load with no problems straight from the camera into lightroom clasic via a c to c usb cable but when I try to download via the two type b readers, that I have, all that gets imported into the lightroom source toolbar is empty folders with no photos in them. Any ideas how I can resolve this?

Hello,i've a big preblem of printing with Lightroom ClassicI work with a Mac last générayion with M1.The printing machine is an Epson SC-P900I cannot print over the A4 format through lightroom classic. The prints  in A3 format are completly damaged on the left side on about 7 cm.There are no problem when i print directly from my my Mac.There are no problem when i print through LRC from a PC/WindowsSo the problem is between Lightroom and my Mac M1.See the example belowSomeone knows the solution a this problem ?Thank you in advance for your help.

i can't find clear documentation about this, which baffles me, as i think this is important to anyone who has backups to big number of images, and maybe later wants to access them - e.g. every wedding photographer. if anyone knows where to read about it, please share!lightroom catalogs can use relative paths to the images. so far the only way i found is having the image files in a directory under the one where the catalog resides. so 2025/kathy-and-john would be the folder where the catalog file is, and 2025/kathy-and-john/images would be where the image files are. and then import the images into the catalog.  this works. now you can move the folder kathy-and-john to any other place, also to another drive, open the catalog there and it immediately knows that the images are in the subfolder. big question there: is there anyway to change this in an existing catalog? especially if i make a new catalog from a selection, can i place that new catalog into a directory that cont

I have made a bok of 58 pages in the bookmodul. When I try to save a pdf and a order to Blurb I got this error messages:

Newb here.  I'm switching from Picassa to Lightroom Classic for my photo management.  I had it index my 16K+ pix and verified that it seemed to recognize a lot of faces (seemingly miraculously because I didn't tell it who any of them were; I assume it grabbed that info from metadata created by Picassa).  I haven't tested it extensively, but I noticed that it only returns a single picture of someone ("Buddy") who it correctly listed under Named People and for whom there are several pictures.  This happens when searching on the person's first name under Text, Any Searchable Field, and Contains All.  Plus, the picture it returns is different from the one it shows under Named People.  What's going on?

I recently got the new M4 Mac Mini and wanted to edit some of my DSLR film scans in Lightroom Classic. Ive done this before on my MacBook and had no issues but now when I try to import the photos into Lightroom on the Mac Mini, nothing happens. The photos are CR3 files and I've searched around and it doesn't seem like Lightroom has an issue with these files. When I try importing from the folder on my computer, Lightroom is stuck saying "Importing Files..." and in the top left, "Copy and import photos". Does anybody know what the issue could be? I've tried waiting for a while to let them upload, tried restarting both Lightroom and the Mac, and still nothing. Also, yes Lightroom has full access to my computers disk. This is really frustrating. 

I have created a photoalbum in the module book of Lightroom Classic (version14.1.1 - Licence creative cloud - windows 11). As usual I click at the bottom right below to send my book to Blurb. After 15 minutes of uploading I get the message that an error has occurred while creating the book. When I click  at the bottom left below or right on the top (selection PDF instead of book Blurb) I get the message that an error has occurred while creating the PDF (only the cover of the photobook was transferred).  My work is done, but now I can't manage to export my album! In the meantime I have created a new catalog, make the cache empty, had my laptop checked for performance and viruses. The album still can't get out.Can someone  who has had a simular problem give me some useful tips?

I have a small problem, thats quite easy to see on some darker photos in Lightroom classic. There is a grid of small squares, (appox 1cm) almost invisible. These dissapear when I zoom into the photo or full screen the photo.I will upload two photos, one with the squares and one zoomed in. Hopefully you can see the difference.  I asume this is either a simple resolution setting or I need a higher resoution monitor. Thanks in advance for and help.

Bonjour,   Est-ce normal que la fonction "Flou d'objectif" soir toujours aussi lente qu'en phase béta et quasi inutilisable?   Et c'est encore pire si le masquage de la profondeur de champ est actif. Il faut plusieurs minutes avant d'avoir le résultat et le moindre changement est pénible. Lightroom Classic 14.1.1 is lagging severely. The reel at the bottom of the page lags, Denoise won't move beyond the first pop up, even closing the program requires using the task manager.  I am running Windows 11.  

Good day. I have an error in the program.When I click the "crop" function, Lightroom closes. What should I do in this situation?

LRC 13.3HP PC Windows 11 ProMy catalog is on my hard driveMy photos are on an external Lacie Drive. I recently ran Vice Versa Pro to back up my photos onto another Lacie Drive.  The entire process took about 8 hours.I opened Lightroom and all of my Photos have the (!) mark The message reads:LRC. HI,i7 PC, 32GB RAM, SSDRTX3060 12GBLatest Windows and LR updates and NVIDIA Creator Drivers.My PC usually uses above 16GB RAM when needed for intensive Apps and Games.If run HDR Merge Function on many DNGs it starts the create Preview process an gets to about 50% along the progress bar.  But it then slows down to a very slow pace.The CPU usuage drops to 5-14%, th GPU usage to zero, and RAM usuage hits a ceiling of about 15.9GB. It then sits their like this accessing the SSD at a very slow rate of 0.4 to 30Mbps and takes a very long time to complete the task, 10 of minmutes, if at all.Any ideas why its not using all the 32GB available?Is there a setting somewhere I am missing that caps RAM usage? 

Hi, I have been using LR for whille now and I'm running out of space, here is my work flow to better ilustrate my question, import images to LR (saved on a folder call local raw files) > edit images, discard the bad ones etc > export final images to a NAS as a  final destination. here is my question, should I get rid of all the pictures on the "local raw files" or keep them they are taking way too much space and I don't think I will ever need them, but I curious to hear from you guys and gals what should I do. I own a sony  @7R5 the files are humongous.  thanks.
