Lightroom Classic

LRC 14.2. Raw 17.2 Mac ventura 17.4 I'm using Sony RX100 v7 inbuilt panorama function is JPEG and poor quality so I take a number of overlapping RAW images & import into LRC. I highlight all image on LRC > Right Click >Photo Merge>panorama - nothing happens. I closed the application I reopen the application I highlight all images on LRC > Right Click >Photo Merge>panorama and the 9 images then merge into the expected panorama. This never happened with my (beautiful and much missed) canon 5D mk2   Its a pain but I get what i want with a work around but wonder why this might happen - and it does every time. - Any ideas please? I now have 7 hours invested in trying to install Lightroom Classic on my new iMac, not including the download. After stalling out at about 43% after 4 hours, I searched for answers and followed the Adobe recommendation of uninstalling the creative cloud desktop app and reinstalling it. Now another 3 hours in the secon time around, I managed to reach 70%! Making progress, I guess. It's been at 70% for the past 35 minutes:  why is this taking so long? The downlaod is done - just trying to finish the installation.

Lightroom Classic Build [202502071718-3869eef7]Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5051987)Import dialog hangs for over 2 minutes before it even lets me browse to a folder. Changing import source folders also takes way too long. Please help. 

I'm on an iMac 2017, OS Catalina 64GB ram. Recently I upgraded to LR Classic 11.1 and for the last few days, I've been experimenting with all the new stuff.  To record what I was finding out, I was alternating between LR Classic & Pages app to type notes. Today, a small screen popped up, supposedly from Adobe, asking for permission to record my computer's screen. I denied it, but would like to know why it would do that. It causes me some concern. Thanks for any answers.

Good day! HELP!!!I downloaded the light room set-up trial and when I installed it, it only updated the Creative cloud. When I press again to install it takes me to the page to purchase AGAIN the light room application. What can I do? thank you.

I'm missing a few folders in LR classic, they are not in Finder or the cloud.  What should I try next?  Thanks.

I have renamed the files in my cataloge.  The files are Tiffs.  I want to export them as Jpgs into a different folder and have the jpgs use the new name given the Tiffs.  However, the exported jpgs revert back to the original file name. Am I missing something? I am running Lightroom Classic 14.2 on a Windows 10 machine with 32gigs of RAM.

Hi everyone, when I open the masks tab and use the "people" search in Lightroom, it just crashes. This problem appears in both versions of Lightroom. I have already tried reinstalling both apps, but it still happens. I cannot remove filters from my album.I want to view all of the photos in the develop module.They are filtered.How do I remove the filter. In the bottom right corner there is supposed to be an option in the filter option box "none" but it is not there. Can anyone tell me how to remove filters and view all of the photos?

Hi! I have got a problem with my login to the Adobe apps (all updated to lastest verions). Every time I start the computer (updated win 11 pro) and try to open Lightrom Classic, I get promted to login with my passkey (QR-code). This never happened before, and is quite annoying, since I also have to deactivate my current PC(!) every time to allow "this device". The PC name and ID is excatly the same every day, so I wonder if any of you have a suggestion on how to solve this problem? I could not find any solutions by searching. Hello ,    I have a very big sync.irdata folder (13GB) with several subfolder which have each a managed catalog file . All my photos are synced from Lightroom classic to cloud, with all original living only in LR classic and each cloud imported file is moved into classic and delete in LR cloud after .   So why do I have several subfolders in sync.irdata with different dates ? Do I need them , can I delete all or all but not the latest in date ? Many thanks for your help as this eats up much storage on my laptop. Bonjour. Je travaille sur Lightroom classic, la toute dernière mise à jour sur un ordinateur sous Windows 11. J'ai voulu mettre en route Lightroom comme la veille où je n'avais eu aucun problème et une fenêtre est apparue me disant : message d'erreur, code 14002. J'ai redémarré l'ordinateur, sans changement, J'ai désinstallé et réinstallé LR, sans changement. Alors je ne sais plus quoi faire. Quelqu'un peut-il m'éclairer ?

Hi,new user here but I am quite strong with other raw editors.In my workflow I am used to create the main event folder (i.e. my_birthday) and create a subfolder for the raw files: ./my_birthday/my_birthday_RAWNow I develop all photos in the _RAW folder but how can I export them in ./my_birthday/my_birthday_JPG?Of course I would avoid to specify everytime manually the folder. Is there a way to create a preset doing this? I am reading lots of pages and watching several tutorial without success.Thanks in advance

Help,I just updated to the latest version of LR and with it the catalogue. now, all my picture thumbnais show grey and when i am trying to import new picutres in the lower left hand corner shows a turning wheel. the pictures files are still where they are supposed to. I am working with macOS.does anybody has an idea how to fix this???Thank you!

I shot a few hundred photos on a recent trip with my iPhone 14.  They are in Apple Photos on my iMac running Sonoma 14.2.x.  I would like to optimally import them into LrC on the same iMac. My dumb-but-easy way of doing this in the past has been to drag the images from Apple Photos into a folder on my Apple desktop, use the LrC Import function, and when completed, delete the folder. But there has to be a better way and I am not sure I am capturing all the metadata etc. that I could be.Suggestions? Thanks in advance,Rob

I have been using LRC for years, and something is not right with this release. No, it's not related to antivirus SW becuase this problem has never occured before like this. I have NOT changed anythings between releases of LRC. So, something is probably wrong with this release as opposed to my settings. Two major issues: masking and cropping seem to stutter.    Masking. If I try to edit an existing filter or add a new filter to a mask, nothing seems to happen for several seconds. Sometimes all too often when I add a new object, I have to wait forever for the selection cursor to become available. Then, I trace the object, and nothing happens. Then, I retrace it, and it works fine. This happens over and over again. I can see the same problems in brushes as well. Cropping also lats. Actually, even zooming the view can take forever. Hello , So much pc is bit dated but think  shuld do the job , have a 3700x with 3060 ,  64gb ram  and working in nvme only . When i  work , benchmark in background tell me 40% cpu usage and gpd , but lightroom  slow down incredibile  when making,  it ages to do anything  ,is very frustrating  .   I was thinking  to upgrade to a 5900x , but I don't think my cpu is the problem . Any advice? 

I have recently changed my subscription plan from Photography to Lightroom plan with 1TB but on downloading images from my camera into Bridge and trying to open them in Camera Raw I get a message saying Camera Raw editing is not enabled! Does the Lightroom Plan not include Camera Raw? How am I supposed to get my images into a format I can process in Lightroom without Camera Raw?Can anyone help please?ThanksVivien

Esse "erro 14002" apareceu pra mim e fique desesperada pois eu tinha que terminar de tratar fotos que estavam no programa e eu não havia feito o backup. Pesquisei respostas e não achei, e ai fuçando nas coisas, percebi que o horário do meu computador estava errado, e isso estava afetando o processamento da minha assinatura e bloqueou o meu acesso, e quando corrigi a hora e a data do meu computador, o programa voltou a funcionar normalmente... então ai está a resposta, corrija o horário, para o programa corrigir o erro, e computar a sua assinatura

Hi!If I have very important presets in my old Lightroom 5.What options do I have to get them to Lightroom Classic?In the worst case if I can't get them smoothly, is it possible to manually just do the same setting, so does Classic have the same adjustments?I'm quite new with these stuff so not so familiar with how all these things work.Thanks already for the help!

Wenn ich eine längere Zeit mit LRC auf dem Mac arbeite, passiert es plötzlich, dass beim Bewegen des Reglers "Dunst entfernen" (Dehaze) nach rechts das Bild komplett schwarz wird. Dies bereits bei Stufe 1.Wenn dieser Fall eintritt, dann erscheinene auch alle anderen, früher bearbeiteten Bilder, bei denen dieser Regler verwendet wurde, schwarz.MAc OS ist auf neuestem Stand, ebenso alle Adobe Produkte.anbei die Systemdaten.Hat oder hatte jemand schon denselben Effekt? With the planned change to single-file enhance, I'm concerned that we may be losing Super Resolution for non-RAW files. I often use this for images from older cameras and get great results. Current workflow:Open RAW file in Camera RAW or Lightroom ClassicApply Enhance Noise Reduction and create new DNG fileOpen DNG file in Photoshop, save to PSD.Open PSD in Lightroom Classic or Photoshop-hosted Camera Raw (File->Open, select PSD on disk, change file type to Camera RAW)Apply Enhance Super Resolution and create second DNG file However, if the Camera RAW AI Features and Settings Panel Technology Preview is enabled to create single-file Enhance, Super Resolution is NOT available in Camera RAW for PSD files. Please do not remove the ability to apply Super Resolution to PSD files in Lightroom Classic, and please add the ability (either by generating the DNG or applied to the PSD) to use this workflow in Camera RAW.

Hallo, ich habe meine Hochzeit extern zur Bearbeitung gegeben. Ich habe den lr Katalog nun zurück erhalten und der Editor meinte er habe die bearbeiteten Fotos GRÜN markiert. ich kann diese aber leider nicht sehen. Es ist komisch, weil er mir ein Printscreen geschickt hat wo ich sehen kann, dass er sie grün markeirt hat. Wenn ich den Katalog öffne, sind die Markierungen aber verschwunden?Was ging hier schief? etwas beim import allenfalls? muss ich irgend ein Häckchen irgendwo setzen oder entfernen?Danke euch für eure Hilfe.LGStefanie
