Will LR 5.7.1 run on Windows 11?

Hi , I hope someone can help . I went looking for my missing files in Lightroom and it was a zip file on my Mac . Because it wouldn't let me click on the  zip file , I opened it and whatever it asked me I said yes ! I went back to Lightroom and now all my folders are blank and I thought I'd maybe go and import the images again from my file cards and it won't let me import anything either . it's like my whole Lightroom has grinded to a halt . I've restarted my Mac but it didn't help . I'm freaking out - can someone please help me ! Thankyou so much 

I updated Lightroom Classic to 4.0.1. Every 20-30 minutes the up and down keys gets stuck on temperature (cold/warm)? I can't hover over any adjustment (exposure, contrast etc) to change it with the arrows on my keyboard. When I use the arrows on my keyboard it just adjusts the temperature. Hello Adobe Community,I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with Adobe Lightroom Classic on my new laptop. After about 1.5 minutes of working in the program, Lightroom suddenly freezes completely. If I wait around 1.5 minutes, the program starts working again as normal, but the freezing continues to happen intermittently.Here’s a summary of my setup and the troubleshooting steps I’ve already taken:Laptop: Only a few months old, with specifications that meet and even exceed Lightroom Classic’s requirements.Software and Drivers: All drivers, including the GPU drivers, are fully up to date.Troubleshooting steps tried:Reinstalled Lightroom Classic multiple times.Checked system resources, and everything seems to be performing as expected.Adjusted preferences in Lightroom and cleared the cache.Despite all of this, the freezing issue persists, making it very difficult to work on my projects.Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this issue? Bonjour,J'ai la version 12.3 de lightroom Classic, mon problème est au sujet du nouvel outil masquage. Les icônes sujet-ciel-arriere plan ne sont pas actives. Lightroom ne détecte pas les personnes sur les photos. Je peux seulement utiliser les outils de base pinceau, dégradé ... mais pas avec les nouvelles fonctionalités. Quelqu'un aurait il une idée pour resoudre le problème ?Merci d'avance 

HAllo,ich habe zwei externe Platten an meinem Mac:wenn ich den Ordner Bilder von der Platte in LR importiere erscheint Bilder-Bilder'Wenn ich nun einen Ordner von der anderen Platte in den Ordner(Zirkus)  Bilder verschiebe entsteht die StrukturBilderUnterordner  BilderUnterordner ZirkusUnterordnerZirkusund dann die Bilder.Im Finder stimmt die Struktur. Bilder/Zirkus und da die Bilder.Wie kann ich das vermeiden? Macht ein totales Chaos.Ich möchte die Bilder von der einen Platte zur anderen verschieben.Vielen Dank schon malPeter

When running Lightroom Classic the iMac says it is running out of application memory.  My 2TB drive has 400GB available and my memory is 40.  It says LRC is using from 50 to 90 GB of application memory and forces a close down.  Am running on a 2017 iMac with 27" screen.  Can only update to Ventura.

Lightroom Classic 14.0.1 on Mac hangs for long periods of time when I move a lot of photos from one directory to another. Sampling the process seems to suggest that the program is frantically refreshing its views and hanging the UI while it’s doing so. These hangs would last for many minutes and seem to get progressively worse, basically halting the data transfer. One workaround I have found is to minimize the app window while the files are being transferred. Once the files are moved, restore the app window.

When I open Lightroom, I now get a pop-up error message that says "Connection failed - Please check your internet connection and try again. [#1000]". The error continues to pop-up every time I export my photos and I am no longer able to use my Pixieset plugin. My internet is working fine so not sure what the issue is. Has anyone experienced this as well? Any solutions?

I'm moving folders from external to internal and have to keep expanding the Folders to drag and drop. They keep collapsing/closing randomly/frequently and selecting Option and the trinagle doesn't lock them expanded like I would prefer they stay.  LR classic 14.0.1 Macbook Pro Sequoia 15.1   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]

Queria Actulizar al 14.1 y se quedaba al 1% sin avanzar. Dsistanle y volvi a intentar instalarlo y me pasa lo mismo con la instalacion.en cambio con las otras actualizaciones de photshop y demas no hay problemas

Each time I try to import photos from my iPhone 14 Pro with iOS 17.0.3 into my Lightroom Classic 12.4 library, the preview of the on-device images will show up as empty rectangles. Strangely enough, if I switch my import source to something else (e.g. a local directory), then back to my iPhone, more previews would show up. If I repeat this dance several more times, eventually most, if not all, of the previews would be visible.   This is clearly a bug. Lightroom Classic is able to read the previews, just not the first time.     [Moved from Bugs to Discussions by moderator. I uninstalled/reinstalled LR Classic (v14.0.1), trashing all preferences at the time. I even restart my iMac M3. I'm still unable to build previews for all 5000 images in my catalog. When I instruct LR to build all standard previews I get a progress bar with no progress. Oddly, when I click on a grid square the preview builds. But meanwhile I have a 5000 image catalog with very few previews. Very frustrating. Any help is appreciated.

In Develop Module watching the layout of my just created Book. When I find a photo that needs to be adjusted, hit D to move to the develop module, correct the photo, and then... how do I get back tho the same layout in the Develop module that in was watching? Any shortcut? I find that by now I have to move to Grid (hit G), select my book's collection,press on the arrow icon and I'm back. Any shortest path? Thanks in advance.

Just bought a new ACER-Notebook. Lightroom is working, but the 'theter' does not appear in the windows-menu.Does Windows 11 not support tethering?You can write in german language too .)       

Just updating a handful of images, and go to quit out of Lightroom, and I get ' Writing Metdata Changes into XMP. Please wait until the process is complete".   This is taking forever, updated maybe 5 images, and now I have to wait 10-15 minutes for Metadata changes to complete. This isnt the normal , 'writing changes you can quit/cancel and you will not lose data, this is different, the only option is to 'Stop'.   What will happen if I update a lot of images, or try and apply keywords to a lot of images? M1 Mac, Monterey, 32GB, Catalogue on SSD, Images on NAS (over cable).

RIght now, I can right-click (option click on my Mac) on an image in Lightroom and it gives me menu choices of all that I have installed for Topaz Plug-ins. I would like to add the abilty to use DxO Pure Raw as a choice in this menu "Edit in.... " in the drop down menu. Is this possible to add and work with from within Lightroom or am I barking up the wrong tree? - I have installed DxO Pure Raw, re-started my computer and it is linked to Lightroom, somehow, but does not show up in the "Edit in..." menu. This an area outside of my specialty  so need help.TIA,  Ken

I am lost. I modify an image in Develop. I want to find that image to print it out. Where is this modified image located? So that I may print it out?

Hi, I haven't used LRC since early December due to a bereavement, I open LRC for the first time a few days ago and was prompted to update my catalogue to V13. Well now none of the image previews are loading. All the images in the grid view are greyed out, I have to click on the image on the film strip and then it loads the preview. However it removes all the image edits! As though every image has been reset, all 37,515 of them 😬 But if I go in to the develop module to history all the edits are there. How do I fix this? Adobe support have tried, they've taken control of my screen, attemped to fix my catalogue all sorts. I need help. please what can I do to fix this?I have tried looking an another computer, it's still the same.I am on Mac Sonoma 14.2.1 and LRC is up to date. Image attached to show my LRC.

I have been using LRC on Windows PC. But last week, I decided to purchase the Mac Mini as a second computer. I was wondering if I can use my LR Catalogue from my windows PC to my Mac Mini so I don't have to create a different catalogue or library on my Mac Mini. Also, if I'm travelling and decided to edit photos using the Mac Mini, would I be able to add those to my main library/catalogue on my windows PC. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Hello, I would like to know what pieces of HW should I look for if I finally want smooth running Lr Classic.I edit thousands of 45 mpx images every week and I would like to build or buy a computer which will be powerful enough to run LR fast and smooth. I've never experienced smooth and fast running Lr Classic during editing/browsing higher megapixel images. So what should I look for, what should I buy if I want to use Windows?1. desktop PC2. laptopCould someone recommend how specs or models of computers which can run LR Classic smooth?Thank you so much.

Hi everyone, I have seen some disscussion about this online, but havent been able to find the solution.  I have a canon R6 mii (with firmware 1.5) and use an HP laptop (windows 11 updated) with lightroom Classic (latest version 14.0). I'll leave the specs under my issue.  After upgrading to a Canon R6mii in august 2024 (already the camera was supported) I am unable to see the photos while tethering on lightroom classic. The Camera is recognized in lightroom, able to see the screen on live view and even use the trigger to take a picture, but files do not pop up in lightroom.  I tried resetting preferences, created a new catalog,changed the destination location, etc etc but the photos still did not pop up, so I ended up going to the folder that I assigned and it seem that it doesn't import the photos to that folder either. I have tether before with my Canon R6 with no problem.  Maybe its a setting that I am not seeing either on Lightroom or my camera?&n

Hallo TeamIch habe das Lenovo thinkpad e15 intel core i7 1165g7 1tb ssd mit Iris® Xe Graphics und 32 gb RAM. Win 11 Pro 64 Bit - Lightroom Classc 14. Eigentlich entspricht es den"empfohlelenen" Anforderungen oder übertrifft diese sogar im Arbeitsspeicher. Woran liegt das, dass die Belegung des Arbeitsspeichers und des Prozessors mit der Zeit immer weiter ansteigt. Dieser sinkt auch nicht wenn ich nicht mehr weiter arbeite sondern füllt sich immer weiter. Ich muss Lightroom beenden um den Arbeitsspeicher frei zu geben. Sonst kann ich nicht weiter arbeiten....Sooo miserabel ist der Rechner doch eigentlich nicht oder?Gruß Eder...ach ja Danke schon mal für jegliche Hilfestellung was ich tun kann. (ausser Neukauf)

In the MacOS Finder it showed 4 files but in the LR-C cataglog it showed only 2 items.So, I tried to Syncrhonize Folder... and this is what the popup window.What am I missing or doing wrong here? MacOS version 15.1.1LR-C version 14.0.1Camera Raw version 17.0 Here's my LR-C Performance tab.
