Lightroom Classic

I'm seeing new crash behaviour in the 13.3 LRC release on Sonoma 14.5. Just editing and adjust images. Have created a couple of presets to speed things up. Only playing with Exposure, Contrast and Highlights and maybe a crop. Worked on 2700 images yesterday it was fine. Today working on day 2 of the same project - so the steps are essentially the same. It's crashed 3 times in the last half hour. PS Upload performance seems to be faster..

A small question for the experts. Is it possible to get "Metadata Status" via the SDK? Metadata Status is available as tagset but I can't figure out how to get it..

I am having issues with LRC removing photos from a collection. I want to move all of my finished photos to a collection for sharing. I added the first 18 with no problem. Now when I add new photos to the collection , they will add and show syncing. When I come back some time later it has removed all but the origonal 18 photos from the collection. I have deleted the collection from both LRC and LR Web, and still the same thing happens. My syncing icon has also been stuck on 20 photos for about a week. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Hello,I have a catalog that I've been using for many years that seems to have become semi-corrupted. The metadata columns in the library filter no longer update and will remain stuck on "Unknown", "Loading..." or display data from the last selected folder which did have working columns. I have created a new catalog with the same folders inside and all the data reads fine. So there is something wrong with that particular catalog. Anyone have a solution? Lightroom Classic version 13.3.1 (but this issue has been presenting for at least half a year on previous versions). I have also opened a backup catalog from 2 years ago where the issue still exists.Windows 11 23H2

Are there an GOOD alternatives to Lightroom Classic? With the the "recent upgrade", I'm unable to work on my images. Hi all,  I'm running Lightroom Classic 13.3 on Windows 11 and a new laptop - The Denoise function has been fine and working quickly with no issues for the last few weeks. But yesterday when you load it, it flicks to black on the enhanced preview and then generates a black image.  I've checked that I'm on the latest version of Lightroom, which I am.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this bug?  Screenshot attached. Many thanks,Nick

I have created a book with Lightroom Classic current release and get an error uploading to Blurb and trying to create a PDF. It always stops on page 33 of the book. I’ve tried resetting preferences, reinstalling Lightroom, every suggestion I found searching on line. Nothing works. Please help.

Your help would be appreciated! ... here is my older workflow.I copy photos from my camera card onto my 😧 drive under a folder name (for each event).I then used to import those photos from that 😧 drive folder using "import as DNG"... because I was a newbie!When doing this LR (classic) has doubled up by saving copies of the files in D:/users/Ian/pictures/lightroom/2024 (eg)I NOW know its better to "add" from the folders in 😧I have deleted 820Gb of files/folders out of that D:/users location but now have lots of "missing photos" etc.Is there a way to consolidate all the edited pics I have in LR and is there a way to tie my edits back to the original files in the 😧 folder(s) in line 2 above?cheers and thanks for reading!

I have registered for the use of Prerelease versions for over a year now, however for several months I am not seeing the option to download the latest version from the Adobe Creative Cloud application. Is this no longer available.  

I've just been upgraded to LRC 13.3. So far in the last hour LRC has crashed 3 times and seems to have several bugs in some very basic funtionality, such as flag setting, preview builds and basic editting. Any chance we can have this working again. Seems the testers got excited about AI and forgot to validate the basics are still viable! Oh and I've rebooted my i9 2019 MBP twice now to check it's not me.

Hi there. I'm using an M1 MacBook Pro with OS Sonoma 14.5 and Lightroom Classic 13.3.1. Denoise AI works fine when I process an image, but once the Denoise is complete, the computer performance drops dramatically taking several seconds to perform each subsequent operation, even just moving on to the next image. Closing and reopening Lightroom Classic fixes this issue until I run Denoise on another file and then the same things happens again. Any ideas what the problem might be? 

This bug has been around for so many years now, it's crazy that it hasn't been fixed (see attached screenshot).Of course, I'm reordering from within the grid view inside a collection. LRCC 13.3.1

I had some problems with my photo's of last year but now it is back OK. BUT:I have a folder named 2023.In this folder I have other folders for each day I took pictures.So far so good.But now I have some folders and on the "icon" of that folder I see a little star on it.Why is this? Desde que he actualizado la ultima version de mac me da error en lightroom. Importo las fotos y no se ven en la biblioteca, solo las puedo ver en revelar de una en una. Sabeis donde esta el problema?tampoco se exactamente si es por la ultima version de mac.

I have a collection I have previously synced to the Adobe cloud. I have made some edits, changed ratings, etc. Now I want that revised collection to sync with LR on the web. Syncing comes to a halt, and stalls, after 26 photos. There is no error in the logs, there is no problem reported by LR Classic or LR Web. It just stops. I have followed a few troubleshooting suggestions I found on the web, but nothing works. I have restarted LR, my laptop, no success.  I have generated a diagnostic report, but I can't attach it, since it isn't an image file. Lightroom Classic v13.3Macbook Pro, M1 pro, OS: Sonoma 14.5

Hi did anyone else notice that adobe made the linear gradient mask tool was changed to way over simplify it? its not longer a usable tool and cant be set/changed easily like the old version. please please please go back to the old version.

So, if the new LR update with the AI denoise is supposed to read RAW files, why wont mine read files from my Sony A7R5? It tells me it is not currently compatible with this file and I need to manually denoise the image.... all apps are updated....

I have two Macs: Maci Mini and Macbook Pro both running MacOS 12.7.2 and Lightroom 13.2 (this also occured with Lightroom 12. This is my regular editing scenario:From my main Catalog on the Mac Mini, Export as Catalog a batch of photos (just the previews not the negative files) to a shared drive on Macbook ProOpen the catalog  in Lightroom on Macbook ProUse the develop module Pro including Content-Aware remove on specific photos Export as Catalog the modified photos to a shared drive on the Mac MiniImport from Another Catalog and select the catalog that was exported from Macbook Pro After the import is complete, 0 to all the photos may not have the Content-Aware updates applied.  It seems quite random which photos are not updated correctly.  It seems worse the more photos there are in the catalog being imported. Now, I can select all the photos and use Photo->Develop Settings->Update AI Settings whcih can take hours.I can also go into Conte

When using denoise AI, the stack button is checked, but the images are not stacking in the filmstrip as a single image after it processes, it is showing the 2 photos next to each other, the one that has had denoise AI  applied to it, and then the original image next to it. This is a bug. When you use denoise AI and have the stack button checked, after it processes, it is only supposed to show the processed SINGLE image ONLY, not the original next to it. Hi, When i was working on the detail panel, i noticed when i switched the panel on and off that the image quality became significantly worse when it was on even though i had all sliders set to 0. See images attached... Can somebody explain to me why this is happening or how to fix it? 

APP VERSION - LIGHTROOM CLASSIC 13.3.1MAC OS SONOMA 14.5Macbook Pro 2019 16 inchHi there, since the 13.3.1 update, the remove tool, specifically healing brush, is unable to make fine adjustments to the source location, which is problematic for getting lines straight / aligned. I have tested this on two different macs and both have the same issue.Prior to 13.3.1 it was possible to make very fine adjustments to the source location. I have attached an image which hopefully illustrates the issue.I searched the forums and was unable to find something similar to my issue, apologies if it has been discussed already. 

I'm not sure if anyone has the same experience here. I took a couple of videos on my Sony A7C2 and tried to import them to LR.  All of the raw and jpeg photos went through, but none of my videos were showing. I also wanted to open it outside of LR to see if they were in the folder, but they weren't.  The videos are visible on the camera and I could only get them out via wifi to my phone now.  Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?
