Grazie in anticipo
Hi,Since a couple of days lightroom classic is not reconizing the printer driver of Epson (ET-8550) any more.Original driver provided by Epson is installed. But always the printer driver of the mac (AirPrint) is pre-dominat. The adjustement of the prints with respect to paper size, paper quality etc is very limited. The printing resulte are very random.I am using a macBook Pro, macOS: Sonoma 14.4.1Attached a screen shot. Can someboday give an advice to find a workaround to get back to the original printer driver?Best Jk
Hi. I am using LRC 13.2 with Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1.In an attempt to free up storage space on my internal drive I used the Finder to copy image files from a Folder A on my internal drive to a Folder A on an external SSD drive. LRC displays these files along with their metadata on the SSD drive. Using the Finder I then moved Folder A from my internal drive to a separate external drive, Drive B. The Finder shows the image files from Folder A existing on Drive B. In the folder window in LRC I see both the SSD Drive and Drive B. While I can see Drive B displayed in the folder window in LRC there is no Folder A visible nor is the Parent Folder holding Folder A visible. When I attempt to import Folder A into Drive B in LRC the images all display in the import window but are grayed out. How do I get LRC to recognize the image files in Folder A on Drive B?Thank you in advance for any help with this.-Firislander
Como e onde consigo instalar alguma versao do Lightroom Classic para o MacOS Catalina?
My Passport external Drive has failed! However I do have an older My Passport Ultra that has about 80% of my photos on it. When I go to Lightroom I am seeing all the photos and files that existed on the drive that has now failed (all showing with a ?). However I want to "find missing photos" using my older backup drive. They were both designated as Drive D my laptop. So....how do I get Lightroom to look at the new Drive D and find the photos? PS - am not very "techy"
Hi, I have created a camera profile for infa red images but cannot find out what path I must save the profile to on a windows 11 system. thanks in advance
OK, so somehow I ended up with two windows in the develop module. A reference and an active window. How do I get back just the one, active window, closing the reference window.I searched all over and can not find out how.
I'm using the current (16.2) version of LR Classic.I used the B&W button in the Develop module to change it from color to b&w, but am unable to change it back to color. When I drop down the profile menu the only choices are color and monochrome. I can see all the choices in the profile browser, but all are versions of monochrome.Am I missing something, is this a permanant change, or a bug?
Trying to import files from an external drive and the import process seems to stall. Lightroom isn't hung, I can click the x on the import progress bar and it will cancel the operation and finish. If I try to import files from the same directory and try to import again, Lightroom will import and handful of files (the last 4-5 times I have tried it has imported only 3 pictures) and then stalls again. The import progress bar just sits there. This has happened multiple times on different directories. Tried rebooting the computer, restarting Lightroom, ejecting and re-attaching the external drive with the same results. Running Lightroom Classic v9.4 on a Macbook Pro - Latest patches installed - 16G RAM.Tried rebooting the computer, restarting Lightroom, ejecting and re-attaching the external drive with the same results. Any help would be appreciated
In LR Classic, I enter keywords into multiple photos at the same time. I want to use the same batch method for one of the Location fields in my metadata. Despite seeing descriptions online saying I can do just that, it doesn't work. Suggestions, please?

I'm using LrC and are suddenly started to have sync errors every time I use the people of person features AI masks. I don't have any sync errors with images that are not using these AI masks. I can't pinpoint which of these AI masks is the culprit here as I usually use multiple. I have been using these AI masks earlier without any sync errors. Can't be sure did these issues start with LrC v13.2 or not. This is a fairly new installation on my new laptop. What the fix would be? I'm aware of resetting the sync data procedure, but I really don't want to take this drastic measure, if it can be avoided. As this issue is only limited to situations where those specific AI masks are used, I'm not too confident that resetting sync data will necessarily help. I'm trying to find an alternative way of sorting out this issue, and only revert to resetting of the sync data, if that's the last resort. ---LrC v13.2, Win 11 Pro, Intel Core i9-13980HX, 32 GB, NVIDIA Ge
We need to be able to identify whether a specific creative profile has been imported into LrC. I know that we can see presets, but are we able to see creative profiles in the same way?Does the SDK provide this option? The only option I can think of is looping all files below the CameraRaw directory looking for a <profile name>.xmp file.
Hi brains trust my adobe has crashed and when re opening it shows photos in the bottom tool bar. (0 of 1000) but there is no preview. I have gone through previous to the crash and colour selected my pics I wish to edit. But when re opening there is no preview any thoughts on what can be causing this?

Danke! Sven Emmerich
ENVIRONMENTSigma fp (Bayer sensor): Firmware 5.00 (current) updated months ago and before LRC 12.4Hardware: Intel iMac 2020.OSX: Monterey 12.6.7 (current).Adobe software: LR Classic 12.4 and Camera Raw 15.4. PROBLEMAfter moving to LRC 12.4 upon importing Sigma fp files that were shot with a non 3:2 aspect ratio (like 21:9) the used aspect ratio is no longer shown/respected - it used to be semi blanked out.The 21:9 ratio is visible in the import dialogue of LRC (3:2 area displayed but with the relevant parts shown in black), but is then ignored as imported photo always shown in 3:2 aspect ratio. In Develop/Crop & Straighten: Original=As Shot.In the Library module/Metadata/DNG the preview dimensions are given as 6000x2576 which matches 21:9.Any and all aspect ratio is still functioning as expected in Sigma Photo Pro 6.8.3 (but after many years usage I am allergic to SPP…).SOLUTION?Adobe: What have you changed? How can I get back to LRC showing the files correctly?INPUT/SOLU
I will be finally upgrading my computer to the iMac Mini. As I understand it, Lightroom 5 is not feasible to run on the M silicon apple chipset without problems. My pictures are stored on external drives connected to the old computer. I assume that I could copy the picture files over to a new SDD keeping the name of the hard drive and the folders it contains and copy them over to the new SSD. Then export the catalogue files to the SDD and import them in to the current Lightroom CC once it is installed on the new computer. I am starting to foresee a lot of headaches doing this and I will be forced to move to a subscription service, which I don't mind doing if it is a rather seamless process. Currently I have made due with the Affinity programs for editing but I am getting tired of having to manage my photos in Apple Photos. So two options, keep the old computer and drives drives connected to access and edit, print my old photos, and for
I am "since ever" on the latest versionwith CC, and the CC-Desktop tells me "no new Updates available".But since the last time I used the Map function (probably a month ago) I see no longer a map, although the Meta Data shows a GPS position (in LR as well es in Bridge). So it shouldn't be a matter of my version! What's going wrong her? This is very frustrating! With every new version I loose a lot of time because of a broken workflow! That's not why I pay that much money every month! If I could I would live with a working version as long as possible, without being forced into the latest (and worse). I not even can pick an older LR version, as I could with PS and Premiere. Has anybody an idey, if a setting changed that I had to adjust? I hope so 😉Or do I have to wait for the next version (with agin changed interfaces and new bugs?):Adobe, if you listen: Please help and explain what's going on and how to solve this issue! Thanks
Totally confused. I've found numerous helpful guides online how to resize, "shrink," an image in Lightroom so it fits within Instagram's parameters, but nothing works. When I open the file in Instagram it is no different in size than the images I normally export to Instagram. I lose the impact of my images when Instagram crops them. I need the entire photo to appear, not a truncated version. I must be doing something wrong, since I would imagine this is a very common practice. Any guidance - in plain english - will be appreciated.Rob
Why does my color picture turn black and white in develop, healing mode. Quality is then so bad that healing is impossible. How do I get the colored picture back to heal/clone ?
Hi. The Denoise function is life changing for me and I use it for all photos ISO 4000 and above. Now I shoot even ISO 51200 and I have no problem with that because I know the photos will look great. But I have a problem. Every now and then I get blocks of dead pixels on photos, but different all the time. It can be 1 out of 100 or 2 out of 20. But usually is about 1 or 2% of the photos. I do the Denoise operation for a number of maximum 120 pictures at a time. I tried more, but every time Lightroom crashed. I happened even when I did Denoise for only one photo. If I do the Denoise again on the original photos, it will work just find. Do you have any idea why this can happen?I use a Mac 3.8 GHz 8-Core, AMD Radeon Pro 5500 XT 8 GB, 16 GB 2667 HMz DDR4 with latest updates. It worked perfectly for like 6 months and just after that the problem started.
For the last few weeks, LRC has been automatically changing the exposure to Zero whenever I use a Subject or Background mask. This makes editing much more complicated and wasn't something that I elected to do. How can I adjust settings so that when I use a Subject or Background mask the exposure is not changed? Thanks in advance for your help! I'm using LRC 13.2 on mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1
Why is the start number grayed out when doing custom naming now??I use the start number feature all the time and now I can't use it and need to rename manually with specific numbers. Awsome...Any way to fix this? Lightroom 12.1. MacOS Ventura 13.0.1.
I am using Lightroom Classic 13.2 with Window 11. I have recently moved my Lightroom photos to a NAS. I can see the all fo my previous photos in the Lightroom Library. I imported some new photos into a new folder on the NAS. When I go the Library, the folder was empty. I tried to import them again and it shows they were suspected duplicates. I uncheck it and imported again. I can see the photos in the Library and have made several edits. I came back a couple of days later to make more edits. I then imported more photos into the same folder. When I go to the Library, the new folder is empty again. The recent previous import and edits in the same folder do not show up. Any suggestions?
